    LOL - I write about never knowing when a random awesome flash sale will hit, and THREE flash sales hit.

    Hoping others found them awesome, even though they didn't trip my trigger.

    Today, 27 October, FINALLY several items in Doorbusters that I like. In particular Stonemason's suberbs The Suburbs | Daz 3D and the dforce wind product  Dynamic Wind Rigs for dForce Cloth | Daz 3D
    I like the dForce Starfall for Genesis 9 and 8 Female | Daz 3D which looks like a perfect match for the wind rigs. Only negative with this is that there are no shoes.  And of course the plush toys are pretty cool Plush Toys | Daz 3D

    I am a bit disapointed in the new QG items. Same with the member bundle. That's on bundle 7 now but I have all the stuff in them so far that I want. 
    I might save some bucks today, plus the fact , once more, my WL items not in the featured artists list. 

    I do like the Suburbs set as well, it's absolutely lovely;  it just seems unfortunately limited in its use to me, being so definitely American as it is. I'm trying to think up scenarios for it, but none of my stories take place in the US, and the houses seem so very typical. Some could work in a Scandinavian setting as well, possibly, but other than that, I can't see anything. I'm hoping Stonemason will be doing another European round soon, like he did with the great Ireland-inspired country cottage scene. 

    You can swap out the buildings with others. Actual roads, kerbs, street lighting and power/telephone cables could pass for most countries. It is the buildings and a few other mostly US features, like the picket fences, that you need to swap out. Here I hid the suburbs buildings, and replaced them with the houses from another Stonemason set "A Village by the Sea". This gives the scene more of a Mediterrean feel.

    ...that looks really good.  I also have VIllage by the Sea as well as as homes and buildings from other European sets.

    I seriously hope we are going to get some kind of awesome themed DO bundle unlike the normal stuff Thursday or Friday. We have lots of vampires, zombies, we have a werewolf, and witches. I am hoping for a really good DO take on a phantom/ghost character with realistic translucency, a scarecrow, pumpkin monster, creature from the black lagoon, a todler character that could become a psycho doll, or something else where the really good detailed models can shine like the dryad, werewolf, succubus, and other similar characters.

    Oh, maybe a young kid obsessed with farming corn or a highly burnt character who wishes to torment his victim's dreams? A Japanese style ghost character with morphs for breaking off their jaw or doing other disturbing things? A young looking trick or treater with monstrous side that hunts those who don't give him candy?

    Today we got a "Horrific Flash Sale", which was true to it's title - the 50% off were, IMHO, really horrific, in the sense of terrible, horrible or awful... wink

    We also got a stadium, with a tennis court the size of a soccer field. Or a soccer field, the size of a tennis lawn. Can't say what scale the seats have, as no human figure is shown to make out the scale. wink

    It might also get complicated to get either of those two cars out of the car garage, I guess. angel

    And that six-seater couch in the Kitchen/Dining area is way too close to that TV set - usually one should be sitting a bit further away than just 5 feet/ 1.50m for watching TV cheeky

    I also hope we get *something*, it was a dry Halloween season this year.

    That pegboard is sparse as heck. My now-teen kid had a better toolbox at age 7. (They like helping my dad when he does projects around the house, so he took them out for a grandfather/grandchild shopping trip so they'd have a set of their own.)

    yeah, today is a bigger pass than yesterday. My only wish is that the next DAZ+/Premier sale is actually a DAZ+ and Premier sale. Pretty hard to get a free item when the buyins not too good. Sorry creators, but the stuff overall on this sale have been subpar. Not all, but the majority. $1.49 is a great price, but I've passed on most of them. Still have spent a lot of cash though, mainly through Featured Artists dropping to 80% off plus tokens, but now I've hitten a wall. 

    But hey !!  There'a always another sale.

    For whatever good it does, I'll have 26 stackers tomorrow - 26 items I haven't downloaded and don't want for a discount I probably won't use. Madness! That statement probably says more about me than it does about the sale, but I'm not qualified to evaluate it.

    I might be wrong on this, but I think the coupon code works different than advertised. I thought you would get an extra 20% off after the 50% off if the item being discounted was a new release, but what I am seeing is that it will apply the 50% off an item and then take an extra 20% off another item in cart if that other item in cart is a new release. Am I reading the description wrong or seeing results different than others?

    It seems to take 20% off the first item in my cart iif that is a new reelase, and presumably 50% if it is an older item.

    I own the DAZ Housecat, plus both of Vyusur's cats (Zeus and Mars), and I'd still buy an AM cat package. I live in hope.

    ...yeah we need a new cat (since Zeus was removed), not a recycled MilCat the original which is something like two decades old.

    I would absolutely buy ANY new cat for sure, and most definitely one by AM. They're on my small Always Buy list, together with sailing and row boats (though I'm still holding off on the beautiful one in that Linday beach bundle, because the included poses are so unbearable). It would be cool if we got a decent kitten along with it, wouldn't it? - I'd also jump on any dog character AM did, I'd hope for lots of breeds there. Oh, and more farm animals, like the fantastic goat bundle he did - chicken, newer cattle with different breeds, a nice donkey ...

    I'm also eating my words a bit right now because I'm actually considering buying the new G9 core character. She's really sweet and not too sexy, and like I said in her own thread already, I want to support the creation of such characters. But I'll have to go through my library first to see if she's really something I haven't got yet. Anyways, she looks nice to me.

Coupon DOES stack with today's version of the horror/SF flash sale, which is better than yesterday's, since there's a subgroup of items that are 70% off without buy-ins.

    Everything above is based on my experience with https://www.daz3d.com/monster-mashup-for-genesis-9-starter-bundle. With 1 token & the banner code it's $7.62 in cart. That's 8 G9 characters - M/F zombie, M/F alien, M/F goblin, (F) hag, & (M) wizard. I think the hag & wizard could also be dialed in to age other characters for non-fantasy pieces. But, just like the member sale, or whatever it is now, the Halloween offerings haven't been impressive otherwise. Compare last year: even with the chaos around debuting the new membership structure, Daz managed some great spooky offers, including Lycan 9 and a deal for $40 of Halloween/horror DOs free with a New buy-in.

    Kayla 9. I think I would buy it outright and save my free bundle coupon for something else, especially at $26 for the bundle right now. ACTUALLY, its going into my cart at $14.04. with the 20% banner deal applied, and down to $9.13 with my 7 tokens... not bad..or free if I had my $10 DO coupon, keeping my bundle coupon for something else. Good option for someone that saved their coupons for end of month. That won;t work though on the 1st of the month more than likely.

    I forgot to type the disclaimer: you're mileage may vary laugh   Yeah, I'm in same boat, although if I had a bundle coupon right now and there was actually something I could use, I would buy Kayla outright, especially if I had the DO coupon yet, then get another free bundle. I should get a coupon reload on the 1st. Will see how it plays then. Its a constant puzzle buying here.
