Like I haven't an extensible external, I'm glad to see all products that I took in my profil for the day I can afford a new external. If I want to look for something in peculiar, I just write a part of the name in the search bar. And franckly, having a full "member festival" page isn't a problem, specially when somebody has dozens if not hundreds of pages of products. One more isn't the end of everything and it will slide with the passing time and additional products.

I look forward to Monday and Tuesday, its a good time to get double tokens, and as a premier member it adds up fast.
Today, 27 October, FINALLY several items in Doorbusters that I like. In particular Stonemason's suberbs The Suburbs | Daz 3D and the dforce wind product  Dynamic Wind Rigs for dForce Cloth | Daz 3D
I like the dForce Starfall for Genesis 9 and 8 Female | Daz 3D which looks like a perfect match for the wind rigs. Only negative with this is that there are no shoes.  And of course the plush toys are pretty cool Plush Toys | Daz 3D

I am a bit disapointed in the new QG items. Same with the member bundle. That's on bundle 7 now but I have all the stuff in them so far that I want.
I might save some bucks today, plus the fact , once more, my WL items not in the featured artists list.

As a side note, people doing graphics for the banners might want to get second opinion sometimes. When you have "cute as a button," and the O is replaced by a monkey's head that partially conceals the letter N after it... Well, it might read a bit differently than the marketing people intended. My brain did a long pause before the monkey's head only to realize, after seeing that N, that the word doesn't end on the second T.

speaking of butts, there's some butt morphs in QG today. LK Glute Shaping for Genesis 9 - Merchant Resource | Daz 3D  they look well rounded.

Burbs and wind follow on interestingly from a butt. That monkey head placement feels somewhat deliberate. Possibly some office shenanigans?

It's the third set of butt morphs in QG in as many weeks. I'm sensing a theme.

Mostly, the sale is fine. There have been opportunities to go a bit crazy. I didn't, but that's due to other reasons. frown

I do like the Suburbs set as well, it's absolutely lovely;  it just seems unfortunately limited in its use to me, being so definitely American as it is. I'm trying to think up scenarios for it, but none of my stories take place in the US, and the houses seem so very typical. Some could work in a Scandinavian setting as well, possibly, but other than that, I can't see anything. I'm hoping Stonemason will be doing another European round soon, like he did with the great Ireland-inspired country cottage scene.

    QG

This is gorgeous but - prob be warned - doesn't appear to come with the hair?! https://www.daz3d.com/vyk-medusa-for-genesis-9

Medusa with no snakes is like an aeroplane without wings (in fact, at small scale that at least might double as a bullet!)

Looking at the bundle, the hair seems a distinct product: https://www.daz3d.com/medusa-9-character-bundle

I know is only $2.79 but initilly I was like omw!!1!  ... then more than a bit unimpressed indecision

    That grump (^) swallowed...

    Stackers

I thought I'd "trade" mine for the EXTRA 20% on Featured Artists (seemed the best deal I've seen this month as I can get 3 from my WL for a reasonable saving - inc the 2nd of my monthly coupons):

    https://www.daz3d.com/the-bazaar - $17.95 $4.02 (78%)

    https://www.daz3d.com/dreadstone-chasm - $38.99 $4.19 (89%)

    https://www.daz3d.com/se-planet-saxum - $18.99 $4.02 (79%)

    DB: https://www.daz3d.com/fragile-beauty-poses-for-genesis-9 - $18.99 $6.65 (65%)

Plus a couple of display-cases worth of free niknaks! (I do like scene-deco and have liked quite a lot of these - thanks @censored smiley )

You can swap out the buildings with others. Actual roads, kerbs, street lighting and power/telephone cables could pass for most countries. It is the buildings and a few other mostly US features, like the picket fences, that you need to swap out. Here I hid the suburbs buildings, and replaced them with the houses from another Stonemason set "A Village by the Sea". This gives the scene more of a Mediterrean feel.

Three days left in the month, still have my PA coupon sitting unused, and it's not even because there have been code-required sales that were better deals. And during a "big" sale month, too.

today I have saved all my money. I do have 1 QG in my cart which will wait for something else to put in there. It might be until my coupons renew.

Same. I mean, 100% savings, so there's that, but it still feels like a waste that it's part of what I pay for with my membership fees and it winds up not being useful.

Much agree with the others: Well done, what an awesome kitbash you did there! Thanks for giving me inspiration.

The member festival bundles are just not priced right to be appealing. If they were $6-8, they would be worth it, because I seldom see more than 2 things in any bundle that I want.  And typically those single items have sold for $2 each at their low price. So if you want me to buy a bundle, I will pay $6, maybe $8 tops for a Bundle. Any more than that is just not worth it.

Perhaps a way to make these bundles more appealing, give us the option to choose only 4 items from the bundle, but we pay half the current price. So $7.50 for 4 items in the Bundle (speaking as a Daz+ member) and $6.50 for Premier members.

  • namffuaknamffuak Posts: 4,404

For starters the current budle is $14.99; I already own 6 items in it. Just for the heck of it I added it to the cart - after the discount for the six items I own it priced out at $6.26.

But like all the bundles this month - the items I don't own I have no use for and no interest in - I wouldn't take any of them if they had discounted to free.

So I've satisfied my curiosity and I'm dropping it from my cart.

I was doubtful too, but I got lucky over the weekend: one of the doorbusters was something I wanted, and with the stackers and 6 tokens, it wasn't too much of a buy-in. Then, in featured artists, there were a few things I really wanted (wanted, not needed, but you don't say no to things like FPE skins at less than $4), so I used the PA coupon on them. It was a small cart, under $20, but it was agreeable.

Hopefully you two will find something to use it on!

I would be more optimistic if I had any tokens, but after getting a bit spoiled at the abundance of them last month, it's hard to feel like I'm getting the best deal I could be getting without them.

Maybe something awesome will yet come along, though... those random fantastic flash sales hit at the oddest of times.

Two flash sales are ongoing: one with a coupon to get 70% off one item (from a selection likely including any item currently not discounted), and one with a coupon to get 50% off of up to two Still new items (they are 26 items to chose from in this case).

I got the DAZ Deals email about the two flash sales, but I'm only seeing the 70% one in the rotating banner. Is that just me?

More Flash Sales. The extra 50% off two Still New is now on the rotating banner, and one for $1.99 Dreamlight products.
