Yipes. Good vibes to your computer, and even better ones for your cat.
Thanks. We got it back on by doing a manual restart at the power supply in the back. I feel like having to do that can't be good.
My cat's suscpicious lump looks like a mole. She scratched it bloody the other day, and I think it's getting bigger. I'm assuming it will have to be removed. Really glad I got cat insurance.
I hope the cat is treatable and fully covered by your insurance.
It does till sound like a possible PSU issue. Swapping the PSU would probably be one of the cheaper possible fixes - but I can't recall if that was already tried.
The repair guy said he checked the PSU, but I'm not completely convinced he didn't miss something.
On Mother's Day, I was at Walgreens and someone gave me a bouquet of flowers. This iscwhat they look like right now.
yes, those are hallowed eggs in the bowl. It reminds me of my grandma and her fun with hens. She wasdad's mum, too.
non-complaint: My passport arrived in my mailbox today. Ten days from application to it showing up, and I didn't even pick rush service. Bonus: it landed in MY mailbox and not the mailbox of one of my neighbors!! Totally not a given around here. Now to hope my supporting paperwork also comes to my mailbox.
complaint: I finally got access to enter hours in my time card yesterday... and, because nothing can be simple, the wage rate was entered wrong. I brought this up and was told I needed to fill out some paperwork for them to change it.
So... okay, they need my permission to fix their foul-up. Fine, here's your paperwork, fix it.
Got an email back yesterday evening from HR saying that they fixed it and made it retroactive to 5/1.
When I looked today... hours for yesterday and today are the correct rate, but apparently they didn't actually do the part that made it retroactive.
So there's ANOTHER email sent with a request to fix that.
I'm beginning to think these people have a contest going for who can muck up my onboarding process in the stupidest way possible.
