I am attending a music event at church.  I never had formal training in singing, but I am trying.  It won't be as bad as American idol.

Complaint: They sent her home again. I told the doctor to see you in a couple of days. He looks like a deer in the headlights over that remark, but it may be true if they can't figure this out. Sure, it's taking a toll on me and her nerves.

There must be more they can do than just send her home! WTF? I hope they figure something out so you don't end up back there again.

I'm so sorry you're both going through this. I hope you can both get some solid rest in and that if you have to go back, your next medical team is better at puzzling out the issue and solution.

non-complaint: I can finally enter timecard hours! Yay!

Complaint: They have me set up for the wrong hourly rate. Also, they wrote me an email that basically boiled down to "it's not our fault we couldn't get you activated until today; you didn't sign the paperwork until yesterday."

Given that they're affiliated with Lutheran Social Services**, theoretically their god is, but I'm thinking there's not much oversight.

(**not why I picked them; I wanted a local company because my state has different rules for some things, and the national system for the last place wasn't configured to deal with it. Local companies with openings were in short supply.)

non-complaint:  I got an email that my passport application was approved and the booklet being printed, followed by another a few hours later saying it was just shipped priority mail.

So if anyone in the USA needs to apply or renew, the turnover time is apparently quite short at present. I submitted my application a week ago, and I got standard service, not expedited.

I hope they figure out what's going on this time. The stress from this can't be helping her BP, either.

I am very glad she will be seeing someone who knows her.

Loved the walking kitty. May I ask when you first tried to put that harness on her/him? And how much of your arms and face were shredded?

He was about 6 months old, and he is still getting used to it. Like that, he will walk for a bit around and lie for a while. Training two things might lead to one of them falling over the other, freaking out, and running around like crazy to get away from it. My cats always fall over. Sit him up, and over on his side he went.

Complaint: In many hospitals today, primary care providers (PCPs) or generalists are no longer the primary leaders of inpatient rounds due to changes in hospital workflow, care models, and educational priorities. Found out my Primary will not be able to see us if we are in the hospital. A doctor with 24 years of experience with our medical conditions.

Complaint: Day 3 of drama at the hospital with my wife. Blood pressure is up and down, with no clue what is happening.

    ...same here as well.

That is a ridiculous policy when your PCP is the one who has all the knowledge and records of her condition.

Complaint: my PC shut off in the middle of a render and won't turn back on. It has power because the LEDs on the main fan are still lit. I hope it turns back on after it sits for a while. I don't want to buy an new one right now. I have to take my cat to the vet because she has a suspicious lump on her shoulder. Can't afford both. I hope her insurance covers most of it.
