Not sure how you get that. That is the price in the cart ($14.56), but $35.95 * 0.50 = 17.975 (that's 50% off base), then another 30% off that gives 17.97 * (0.70) = 12.5825.
Or if we go one at a time for the 10%......17.975 (50% of base) then 10% 3 times.....17.975 * (0.9) = 16.1775, 16.1775 * (0.9) = 14.56 (look, that's only 2!) , 14.56 * (0.9) = 13.103775.
It's not right. It's missing one of the 10% off at least.
Mad Artist discounts are still not working for me; at least not the ones for IHKang's store
Mad Artist 10% does not apply to new releases.
To quote from the sales line in the "Mad Artists" category:

The new item (PBS Shaders Vol 2) is a newly mad item, and there is no other disclaimers put on the 'extra 10% off" today, so I would think it would work the same as the category sale (which is why I copy/pasted it above.)
If it DOESN'T apply, they need to put that on the sale page or banner item.
Looks like they may have it fixed. Just refreshed, and the price on the Vol. 1 PBS shaders went down to $13.10, which is in agreement with my calculations. The Vol. 2 PBS Shaders are staying at $14.56, indicating they aren't giving the extra 10% for the "Buy any of today's Newly Mad items and save: Extra 10% off Today's Featured Artist catalogs"
You'll notice they have no footnote markers, nor any subtext. It should be applied, or they need to correct it.

It's April 4th and Daz is still trying to milk a few extra sales out of the March Madness Sale?????? I realize that the only reason Daz exists is to sell products but how about an April sale?????????
The 40% Mad Artist discounts seem to be working now. Now if I could just get my coupon to work

Welcome to the wacky world of DAZ sales, where month long sales usually run one or two weeks into the next month!
Most of the year, new releases only get 30% off, (+30% for PC+ members, on Daz Originals,) so most customers will hate to see the 40%/50% plus discounts end. We're quite happy to see March Madness overflow into April. The longer the better! (Even in basketball, the Final Four and the Championship Game are played in April...)

My PC+ PA Coupon is also not working, so you are not alone. Like you it is on older items, but I have new items contributing to the 18$, even though these items are not discounted. This has always worked in the past.
Is there anyone at Daz who understands that we're coming here to buy stuff at a discount, not do math puzzles? How about a simple 50-60% or so off of everything except new releases? You wouldn't have these problems and the public relations nightmare that goes with them.
No. You can also have new irems in the cart; BUT the non-new items has to total at least $18.
That is a new rule then, because it has certainly worked like I said many times for me in the past.
Most customers here are artists (as in consumers who are at a relatively higher level in the art development food chain) and therefore have well developed right brain. Whereas the sales are targetted at the capabilities of the left brain. It is not easy to make a sale where an item is solely judged by its merit because thats when knowledgable customers start questioning the value of it. Its something analogous to using your off hand vs using your main hand while doing a task. Or lets say you are accustomed to right-hand driving and once in a while you have to drive in left-hand traffic. You would obviously lower your expectations, get distracted by insignificant concerns and yet feel happy after accomplishing the task (evaluating an item for purchase in this case).
That way it becomes easier to sell shallow (as in weaker than what it appears to be on surface) discounts and offers.

To clarify, this isn't correct. The PlatClub coupon DOES work on new releases it's just limited to DO items only. The Save6 version is the one that will not.

Come on, do you really expect daz to follow something as trivial as keeping a sale named after a month in the month its named after? After all it started in February and continues into April?

sooo...how many days in a row does this make, with prices being incorrect and glitching when the new releases hit? Still waiting to see the corrected discounted price on the Daily Mind Blower, the neighbourhood bar, and it's been almost two hours now. :sigh:
