Only DAZ knows the answer to that, though this is the final weekend in July.
It's Daz final. It could mean anything... only Daz knows.
(And even that's not a guarantee.)
...I pretty much "punched out" after my last Daz+ annual membership expired. Did pick up a couple if the more useful "Christmas Sale" freebies as well as broke down today and pocked FN Headquarter (almost made to order for a location in my main story).
This has turned out to be a really good sale for me, along with some amazing deals and freebies. I wouldn't mind at all if they extend it into next month.
In August, it will be "Christmas in July in August," so it'll be a different thing.
Jokes aside, my bet is this is the final weekend, but it will, per usual, be extended tomorrow. However, as many wrote before, it's Daz, so anything can happen, even "Christmas in July in August."
FN Headquarter was the only thing I bought the whole sale! (Too many buy-ins would have negated any savings, for me.)
But the freebies were awesome and FN Headquarter was a must have. Added a lot to the wishlist for later sales. :)
I didn't buy anything but freebies either. I thought about the retro roller skates that were in Holidaz, but then I remembered I had at least one pair I've never used.
its interesting how we all have much different needs or tastes in products...thus more diversified images. The FN headquarters was the only item I didn;t buy yesterday.
I don't know why people celebrate the end of a big sale. It just means prices will be higher 'til the next big sale. Thanks to Daz & PAs for the freebies!
I didn't buy the headquarters because of the download problem and the fact that I would have to bash together credible interior spaces for it. I surely have enough props to do that. I just don't care to bother. But I did add it to WL as time may come that I change my mind.
I look at the big, awesome sales like ice cream. If it's every day, then it stops being special. One starts, has a fair run and ends, and then we can look forward to the next big one.
I run out of spending money if they go too long then get frustrated, so there is that ...
Yeah, by the end (okay, usually much before the end) I've gotten as much out of them as I'm going to and am looking forward to the next roll of the dice. Especially once where you have to keep up punches and I've chosen to participate... it's kinda stressful trying to find cheap-enough things to buy that I actually want.
The free items were amazing with this one, and I'm very grateful for those! A couple of the $3 items were up my alley, too. But other than that, the structure didn't work for me, and often with these sales with punches, it seems like the prices in the catalog all hike up to compensate for it. So... even less chance of getting to indulge in a new shiny toy to play with, since I have neither punches nor tokens to even them out. At least when things are same-old-same-old, there's generally a better chance of an impressive flash sale.
I like that! Good answer!
Long sales have a tendency to get repetitive if they are going for too long, and there is rarely an element of surprise after the first couple of days.
Outside of long sales, Daz will sometime try something new to separate us from our money (like the big poses sales a couple of weeks ago) and there is always the possibility of daily sales combining in a interesting manner, even if it seems to be rarer now (I think at one point, it was too complex even for Daz and they were likely bitten a time or two with a combo that went further than they felt confortable with).
Regarding the sale that finished yesterday, the 20% extra bonus on 1,3 or 10 items was a nice surprise (I don't remember if it was already used in another one, but I also don't necessarly have the best memory).
+1
+1. The freebies with this sale were good and the $2.99 items were simply awesome. Not every single $2.99 thing was something that I could reasonably use, but I bought a lot of them. Thanks to the PAs for their generosity.
It ends a phase of daily disappointment for me, as I don't have to log on to check the offers of the day again, see nice % off offers, but then notice that they all would need me to buy something that I don't ever will need.
Yes, the few freebies for G8 were nice.
Gift Card 4-hour flash sale.
Thanks for the notice. 15 % Off on one is not great, but I hadn't much store credit left, so I've bought one. This has been one of those rare occasions when I've made it in time for a short-duration flash sale.
Kind of a bummer - I had just bought my stuff. It's not a huge % but I might have gotten a small one.
Annoying - I've been waiting for a GC offers and just missed this by ten minutes!
It isn't a good GC sale anyway.
It was not great, but it was the best we have seen for 3-4 weeks.
I did not even see it :D
Heads up, all. There's a new flash sale tile in the carousel right now. Second in the rotation. There's some pretty good stuff in the selection.
It looks like a great sale today, especially with the extra 50% for 'Bash' items that are your wishlist. I would love to participate but I have to save up to repair/replace my main computer that was severely damaged by a lightning strike.
Eek! So sorry to hear about your misfortune. I'm scared to death of thunderstorms as it is.
...unless, like me, you have no tokens and no desire to get one of today's new releases.
Prices are better than usual in general, definitely. But nothing really inspiring for the stuff on my Tier 1 list, and without the extra, I'm more inclined to save my money for the PA sale and see what that brings.
Hoping others are able to nail some awesome deals, though. If folk haven't used their monthly coupons yet, today'd be a great day to do it. :)
