Of 2500 items in the $1.- sale I get shown about 2330 because I obviously own the others already. And only two of those are in my wishlist. Not worth to throw a new item in the cart for that.

I'm pretty proud of myself. I struggled for an hour or so to find my way around the various sales and discounts, etc.

I finally got the Stache Picks Bundle. It started at the discount price of $32.76. I used tokens to bring it down to $19.79.

There were some great characters including Underbelly 8. Another item I wanted was the DAZ dog 8.

Wow, much underwhelm in the LDs...one G3M pose set, a V4 and an M3 outfit and toys for the Mil Pup.

..I get the same a lot , right now two texture sets for items I don't have, a gen3 bundle, and an outfit for a genre I have no interest in.

pretty much par for the course.

Maybe if I babysat the store all day long, i might finally see something I'm actually interested in, but I have other things in life to attend to.

...pretty much the same selection as the other day's offerings save for the fact you only need one new item to get five at 1 USD ea.   Yeah too good to pass up, particularly for a buy in item at 10.49 USD. Clears a few things off the wishlist as well.

I am still somewhat bewildered by the different sales. But I have managed to work with some coupons and use lots of tokens.

In some cases, I got great items for free, or around $4.

It helps that I haven't shopped at DAZ since Genesis 9 was released. So there is plenty of stuff that interests me. I'll surely use all my tokens before they expire.

Huh. Expected something a bit... more... from Cinco, even if it didn't appeal. Maybe a flash sale later in the day?

There's not one tiny iota of Cinco de Mayo theme that I can see in this sale.

Yeah, that was my impression. Not even a selection of older Mexican-themed items being on some minor, uninspiring discount if you buy a today's-new-release.

they could have tossed the free lemon up for the newbies who missed it

oops lime, I am Aussie and not a Tequila drinker

I have however had salt with lemon as it does remove the tartness

The only partially Mexican thing I can find is the Mayan name Ixchel, for a character that doesn't look very Mexican.

Yeah, it's like "Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with this... breast control expansion product?!?!" Um, okay, Daz...

Depending on what you wishlisted previously and how you set up your cart, you can use the "Wish" buy-in from mayday-goodies-for-a-buck (wishlist weekend) sale first to get +20% off five wishlisted items, three of which can be "Mayday" buy-ins from mayday-mayday-your-day, optionally add a couple wishlisted items from any of the featured artist stores, and then pick 15 of the $1 items. With tokens and Premier it comes to around $2.25-2.50 per item average, which is a good sale, if the items appeal.

And it's even still valid if you used it yesterday. I just checked.

hmmm - not following this one. So you have to buy the 3 new releases firts from mayday mayday or what? I know I have no wishlist items in any of the Featured Artist lists for the last few days.

The "Wish" release can reduce the cost of the "Mayday" releases IF you previously wishlisted the "Mayday" new releases. If you didn't, it's the same outcome as shopping two separate sales, but at least you can build a big cart with fifteen of the $1 items to maximize token earnings.

Thanks for the inspiration, Wendy :) I put the table top props in my cart, ordered the mayday goodies high to low and put the first five wishlisted products in the cart and got a bunch of nice stuff.

For me it takes about 10 seconds to know that it's not worth even checking the $1 selection, a quick glance at the fact i'd need to pay at least $13 or so for something I don't need or particularly want will cancel out any benefits from the saving of something in the $1 selection

Yeah... If they want us to buy new stuff, they should offer more interesting things... Yesterday was better...

Right. I wish they just made the requirement ANY new release, as opposed to the tiny selection of stuff I don't want

    When is a sci-fi hallway not a sci-fi hallway?

When they call it a generator room!

The generator is the weekly product I guess, and the one by Pandygirl is the monthly one ?

Or last week's Garage Vignette. I am sick, sick, sick of solid black rooms with a few garish light strips. How on earth can the Daz+ team think this is an ongoing good idea?

That might be something to ask Jack in the D+/Premier forum.

We griped there before, but it hasn't had any impact. They just keep coming and coming.

This post was back in January, and here we are in May and almost every week, we get one of these black rooms as our freebie. When it is ever something (anything) else, it is cause for celebration.

And a month later, this post. But those black rooms just keep coming...

It would be so, so nice if there was a better balance of genres, or even better, things that are more universally usable.

Or, heck, offer a weekly coupon for a D+ or something, at least that would be something that people could tailor to their needs instead of the subscription (I refuse to call it "free" since it's only $0 if you pay them) content being useless.

They can't offer as freebies what isn't offered up as a potential freebie by a PA.

What??? Why not??? We are talking about the DAZ+ freebies which are owned by DAZ. Does DAZ now need permission to give away what they own???

In general I feel that while the cost of membership is going up the quality of the weekly/monthly freebies is going down.
