    It's no posable at all?

It can only be slightly adjusted like most clothing; the ends can be lengthened, and subtle deformations can only be made through the joints( Human joints inside clothing).

There may be a weight map limiting dForce, in which case you would need to add a dForce Weight Node (from the Create menu) to see it with the Node Weightmap brusha ctive. There are also surface settings that can limit or disable dForce.

Thanks for all information. I think Drape would not look so great after simulation, so the decision is right.

There are some dials to adjust its pose.

there isn't dforce on that; prob a mistake it got listed. You can add a dforce modifier ofc but it will just fall.

there are morphs on it though

I added a dForce modifier to it. Set overall Dynamic Strength to 0.9 and gravity to 0. Then a weightmap and painted the breast and croth area out.

I bought https://www.daz3d.com/ts-bread-desserts-fruits-and-vegetables by Tesla3dCorp today and I was curious if the quality would match what I saw in the pictures. Also where was the Jello? Well I loaded up the apple and yes, it is excellent. I could turn it around, and it match a real apple from all sides.

The Jello now, that is a bit confusing. I think it is a case of different terms used in different countries. Jell-O® in the USA is a geletin desert that is mixed in an object and chilled down. The Jello in the product is shaped like lemon/orange wedges but clear. So, is that a candy or is there a mold that is available elsewhere where you could say have 'ice-cream' for the rind, and 'geletin' for the inside of a fruit? It is pretty, I will grant you that.

Are fruits available one by one or only as part of a pile of apples, bananas, etc?

  • memcneil70memcneil70 Posts: 5,711

There is a basket and a tray of lemons, a pile of mangoes, strawberries, bananas. No, only one apple, a slice of bread, a cupcake, and 3 carrot slices. That does limit it, but for a store, party, or kitchen display, the larger items are useful.

Artini I loved that clickety clack! That robot was really moving along!  Curious - how long did that take you to make?

Very nice. AI?  . . .  or did you painstakingly hammer it out frame by frame. Either way great work and I too would be interested in knowing how long the process took. Although I am not personally into AI I love what you did with it in the other thread. Back to the robot . . . The last two days wiped out my December unused store credit. Mostly bought zero discounted items but with the wishlist sale and tokens full priced new items came in at 65% off.  Bought the Robot (a steal) to earn that extra token. So glad I did. Thanks for sharing your work.

Angel Secrets Hair: a truly unnecessary focus on women in lingerie and not one single shot of the hair from the back.

    Hard pass, just on principle.

You gave it more time than I did, as I was ready to pass as soon as it became apparent that there were no movement morphs. Are those bangs supposed to be covered in shellac to hold those shapes?

Honestly, I only kept going to see if they would actually show all of the product they were supposedly advertising. The style doesn't interest me, and I've sworn off any product that has that vibe for the promo material.

I mean, to be fair, Angel Secrets is the same name as the artist's lingerie line, so this hair is a spinoff of that/part of a set. Not an excuse for bad quality, or a lack of good promos however. (Though I think I saw a promo that sort of showed the back, in the promos for the clothing set in the same bundle)

This is from the current Quick Grab collection for $0.99 https://www.daz3d.com/easygoing-poses-for-genesis-9. I missed it when it was first released and when I tried to open it, my screen bounced and it clicked into my cart. I looked at it and found 27 images (of the reported 30? plus mirrors) of standing/leaning normal everyday poses and expressions. I can see these in regular settings and very useful. Lovely work @3DSugar.

One element I dislike though are the baked-in expressions: I would prefer to be able to apply only the pose. Outside of that, I usually like 3DSugar's poses.

1000% Cybersox! With very few exceptions, I can't do anything with hair that doesn't move. There are several PAs on my 'don't buy' list for hair because they don't make it functional. And that's a shame, because the products look nice otherwise. frown

https://www.daz3d.com/z-beach-babe-shape-and-pose-mega-set-for-genesis-9-and-8-female Also in the QG has some decent ones among all the "sexing it up" poses. Not enough to ever be willing to pay full price, but at a buck, worth it to have around just in case.

Yeah... although I do like that the expressions come as a separate option. They don't always look great on my characters (typical of any expression set), but I have a few that are go-to choices from other sets.

    Thanks a lot.
I have bought this robot just after I returned home from work.
Then transferred it from Daz Studio to Unity using a bridge:
    https://www.daz3d.com/daz-to-unity-bridge
In Unity, I have changed it to Humanoid.
Then I used FS Parkour And Climbing System from Fantacode Studios
to quickly assign third person player.
After that I have loaded to unity Low Poly Mega City from JustCreate
to have some environment to play with.
Added Unity Recorder to the scene and just started walking the robot around.
Since Unity is a game engine the walking and recording are in real time.
Totally it took me like an hour, but some of the time took copying the file
and uploading this recorded video to YouTube.

No AI used. I have used Unity for animating the robot and recording to the video file on my laptop.

Game engines is my passion and I like Unity the best.

Thank you for responding. Seriously you need to try an become a PA. Your stuff is fascinating. You have creative vision . . . why not give it a shot? So many really decent PA's have gone. I am not kidding. Why not give it a shot? Just do something animal or robot related and almost everyone will buy it.

    Thanks a lot, @ArtAngel

Right now I try to promote Daz 3D also on YouTube and have a lot of fun trying to animate in Unity.

I agree expressions can be an issue, but that is why I buy products that zero specific areas of the body. But for this PA, I generally just modify from what shows up, just as I do if I am using the pose and the character is not quite what was planned for. It is a starting point for me.

Of course, this is what we girls used to wear when going to the porn studio...erm...school, I meant school.  I am so sick and tired, that this is the standard norm all of a sudden for "clothing"
