While I won't disagree about it being gratuitously skimpy, I can't see anywhere where it actually claims to be a school uniform.
  • It was a figure of speech. No girl, woman, would wear this outside of the house. It's ridiculous, but it seems to be the norm nowadays.

Folks complain about this a lot. But this one deserves it. Walking in that skirt would be rather revealing.

You haven't been to many anime or sci-fi conventions, have you? That outfit's actually rather tame when compared to some of the things I've seen young folks parading around in at anime cons, and every year there are a couple of folks at the San Diego comic con wearing nothing but a c-string and bodypaint... And yes, I use folks because it's both male and female, though the majority are female.

And that's before we get into the uniforms worn by the wairtstaff at some restaurants. The "regular" outfits are skimpy enough, but they're currently doing Beanies and BIkinis this week at the Twin Peaks near me, and every Wednday is Lingerie Day...

So, while I'll agree that these aren't outfits that most people would wear, there's almost always somebody out there who will.

I agree expressions can be an issue, but that is why I buy products that zero specific areas of the body. But for this PA, I generally just modify from what shows up, just as I do if I am using the pose and the character is not quite what was planned for. It is a starting point for me.

I think that's pretty much how you have to treat anything that's sold at DAZ or Rendo.  It's rare for me to use anything "as is" straight out of the box outside of a test render, but having a set of already passable foundations to start kitbashing from is both a massive time saver and frequently results in a lot of happy accidents and unexpected side inspirations.

Does someone know what written (in chinese or japanese) on the tattoo on the back of P3D Denise?

It's visible on the last promo render, who shows her fully naked:

The semi-regular question of "is that image flipped or has someone really created a texture with those Chinese characters mirrored?"

It's a female chinese name, it says Wenjing, which means "calm".

The real question is if the smoothing helper will stop fingers from being pulled through clothes if they get too close.

Yea, they're traditional Chinese but flipped vertically (mirrored) which seems weird. They're just three Chinese words meaning: friendship, love money, have sex ~~

A $200 external tool from a new PA is hard ask.

You could use the SIMPLE-NEW code on it to reduce it to $5.

I'm looking at it now, but I'm not sure how it would work with my workflow and my self-organised manually installed content. Yes, I suppose I could use the coupon on it, but I'm not sure I'd have the time to test it in the return window.

I am happy to stick with Voidtools everything to find stuff since PostgreSQL won't run on my PC

(don't start, I have tried every suggestion)

    so likely this wouldn't either

He does have a youtube channel with a preview that I'm watching right now, and he's made about 20 videos in total about it already. I think for $5 this could be a steal.

Thanks for the link to video. For $5 it was a simple decision for me, so I have bought it.

I was totally confused by his promo images to be honest and came here to see if anyone had input. Thank you guys for your input. I had blizted over the coupon codes totally. When I dropped the package into my cart it dropped to $97.00 or so, then the coupon, so the cart is at $5.40. I will watch the YouTube videos later. But yeah, for $5.00 this is not a hard decision, but will I take a chance to screw up my organization of my content? Not sure. But I will have it.

Now to find out if it is Mac compatible.

  • I like the cat expressions. Some of them look quite realistic, admittedly others don't, but they're the best to date and I think the issues are more of a limitation of 3DCat models than the expressions. Cats are really hard to model accurately because they are just so fluid in the ways they move.

    Regards,

    Richard

It's very unlikely: they are plenty of .exe files but no .app files according to the wiki.

I have those tagged. Last night my flatmate used a rotary cheese grater that made the weirdest sound and both cats reacted with different head movements. Charlie's back was to my door, his ears went up and forward and his neck was stiff. Simon's neck went up, very stiff, ears back, and his eye's were squinting towards my door. They had been asleep on my bed, curled around each other before this happened.

Definitely. Except the typical "you bore me" its hard to create cat expressions, so this might help.
To check wether they really work I will have to render them, though. I will give them a chance

oh btw when I went to high school the girls wore school uniform many were that short AND now days see females of different ages yes older women too around town still wear skirts that short and other revealing clothing

Yes, I also like them, too.

Wonder if anybody has bought them and can share some renders made with them.

  • like to add about the cat expressions as this brings up something I'd like to see more of is more expressions for any and all animals don;t know if possible but you know for example when an animal makes like a snarling look the lips/mouth raises in certain areas don't know how to explain it really but animals can be very expressive like us and for the human models we have expression/morphs that raise the lips and mouth expressivly and nose too so it be great for the anilals too design anvil has done few and tempasta3d here haven't got sharktooth's yet

I actually think it was a mistake because the newly mad link for the SIMPLE-NEW code scrolls down to 13 of todays items that doesn't include the cat expressions or EZFinder

Got myself the EZFinder on that code, and the Cat comes in cheaper then $5 without it. I will get that one once the Quick Grab shows up. Surprisingly for DAZ its Monday again...

It's from yesterday, but I really like Sigurd Hair for G9. The only thing making me dubious is that there isn't any way to pose the hair: no dForce, and no morphs from what I can see.
