It's seriously one of the best male renders I've ever seen. Awesome work!

And I totally agree - Yay for hunky dudes! lol :D

Oh, saw that in the gallery!  Very nice!  I love that cigar!

So, here is my latest.  This is Ragnar by gypsyangel.  I love the jeans I used from Urban Survivor because of the nice wrinkles and stuff, but I'm not crazy about how the texture looked in Iray.  Had to do some postwork on that and I think they look a little better.  I like that I didn't have any problems fitting them to G3M and, of course, Fit Control for G3M helped a bit as I wanted the jeans to ride lower on the hips than it normally does straight out of the box. I love playing with Fit Control! I especially love the undress morphs!  I used UHT2 on the hair and I think it actually turned out fairly nicely.  I need some more practice with it, but I love the results so far.

Ragnar is a cutie. :-)  I just wish they'd make jeans with better looking zippers and undo morphs.  I like the weathering on those pockets.

I'm not a fan of the smoking, but other than that the image is awesome! I love the lighting coming from the muzzle. I'm usually not a fan of war renders as I'm pretty anti-violence, but the renders you've done lately have been pure art. Excellent work! :)

Beautiful work! He's leading man material for sure. :) The back lighting and the way the light plays in the hair is very cool. I'm going to have to look into getting Fit Control, because the low riding jeans look SMEXY! :D yes

I agree. I'd love to see a pair of jeans with a morphing button-down fly. Being able to unbutton a couple of buttons and have it ride a little low would be sweet. There is no end to skimpy barely there clothes for the ladies, but it's hard to find sexy stuff for the boys.

Yeah, I know! Better zippers and undo morphs would totally rock!  Unfortunately, the one pair of jeans that I have with undo morphs don't look all that great!  I'm working on modeling a pair, but it is taking forever since I'm still learning to model!  At the rate I'm going, I might have them finished by next year.

Oooh, SMEXY!  I love new words and I really like that one!  I highly recommend Fit Control!  The amount of things you can do with that product is astounding!  I could have gone much lower with the jeans, but thought I'd better not.  But, yeah, I can't work without Fit Control.  I use it to tweak just about every outfit.  Somehow, I always forget to mention that in the product list, but it is used for almost every image of mine with an outfit in it.  I'm definitely going to have to get better about that adding that in the gallery when I add products.

I have asthma so I can't be around smoking so not a fan either, however Sarge smokes the occasional cigar early in my stories and quits something which greatly pleases his future boyfriend. Believe it or not I used to depict him smoking all the time but have toned it down a lot. I actually had a lot of trouble with the cigar. I wanted it to cast light and imbedded a small emission light in the tip. Did not work out too well. So I had to settle for an orange point.

My stories have lots of war and action since earth is invaded by aliens and most of humanity are conscripted to fight. I do admit I  like action and war images so the vast majority of my images involve action and romance of some sort.

IKR? Sad, that such a basic thing such as zippable fly is hard to find.

The3DWizard's Jeanz for Genesis have pull down and unzip morphs.  And there is a version for Genesis 3 coming out, if autofit isn't your thing.

I forgot about those and I do have them.  I haven't tried fitting them to G3 yet.  Nice to know there is a new version on the horizon.  Those had some good morphs built in.  I do hope they have some slightly better wrinkles in the new version, though.

:Chuckle:  story is sort of a work in progress... And probably a very long one, as I'm still changing stuff around figuring out my ideas. You can see images of the characters as they evolve and I get better artistically in the Gallery and my thread. Whether it will ever be completed, I'm not sure. But it is fun to work on. Sergeant Owen Kelly is an openly gay man drafted into the army to defend the planet, against a group of expansionary human-like aliens who want earth and are pretty much succeeding in conquering us. It is only a matter of time. He is a tough guy who is actually kind hearted. Michael Boyd is about the same age and is his best friend and a civilian contractor and a computer genius who operates drones for the government initially. He uses humor as a shield to keep most people at bay and is a strategic genius.  They become good friends, eventually fall in love and  marry after the war is over, but only after liberating earth and defeating the aliens of course. Which takes years. . Just plain good old sci-fi with a military twist. Most of the story involves Owen interracting with his platoon and dealing with various missions and dealing with the complications of dysfunctional future government, bureacracy and social and poltical problems.

Here's something a little different and, no, it's not due to a Rocky Horror influence cheeky, it's more the result of having a houseful of visitors yesterday.  We don't get them often, it's a 2 hour drive to get here from the closest big town.

Black and white effect is courtesy of NIK Collection.  If you want to see the straight out of octane version, I'll attempt to attach it to this post.  Otherwise, it's sitting over in my gallery.

Gee, it sounds like fun to visit your place if it inspires that!  ;)  Can I visit, too?  I'm not sure which version I like best, but I'm leaning toward the original.  I love the deep shadows you got.  I'm actually surprised you managed to get the shoes to fit so well.  He looks good.

Feel free, just make sure you bring your winter woolies and drinking water - still waiting for the water tank to be installed (town water tastes like crap).

But, yes, each picture has its merits and I also lean towards colour.  I've been reading up on b/w photography, of late, and am trying to put some new ideas into my pics.

As for the shoes, I only added smoothing, but they worked really, really well.  They came with the B25 Silky Dress that came with Vic 5 Bundle.

It might take me awhile to get there.  There's this huge continent and an ocean between us.  And, I think I'd rather wait until the weather turns warmer.  Living in Florida, I've kind of gotten used the warmer weather the last few years.  Not too crazy about winter anymore.

As for trying new ideas, that's always a good thing.  I have that dress.  Maybe I should try dressing my guys up more in the future.  :)

Experiment with my WTZ shaders I've been working on. The skin is entirely procedural -- all of the fine detail comes from HD morphs.

Some minor tone adjustment in post.

Wow, Serene!  Another wonderful, dramatic image, great color and light and dynamic pose. And the guy!!  Is it wrong of me to want to lick his arms and fondle his weapon? ;)     Great work, really.

And I guess that war dog outfit is on my wishlist now.

LOL Genaris. I'm sure your not alone, but I'm sure his boyfriend would have something to say about that. HAH. Boyd better stay on his toes. =-)  The War dog Remastered is a really nice outfit. I would really recommend it. A high degree of realism, something which is really lacking in men's clothing...I was also really pleased with how it bends and moves. No weird crinkling or warped grenades.  Now if I could just get a nice set of realistic armor.

Here is my next image. It is Owen Again. But it is basically a test render. Nothing too exciting... But I wanted to try the Eyebrow product Oh My brows from Rendo. Also experimenting with chest hair.
