I'm finding this to be a very useful tool to add variety, which is more reflective of real life than just a handful of look-alike characters.Having written software myself, I know there's a constant need to make decisions of what to include or exclude and how much to do before releasing a new product to see if there's a market for it. In case you plan another version, here's some thoughts on what could make it even better.

    1. A select all checkbox on morph list so you can add all or exclude all. Very common for this type of list.
    2. Search function on the morph lists. I have so many, it can take quite a long-time to scroll down and verify whether something is included or not.
    3. An alternative to #2, a filter that lets you only see morphs with specific letters in it (e.g., type in eye and only see eye morphs)
    4. Program can sort morphs so are all morphs for a particular feature are together (e.g., all eye morphs). Now eyes are scattered about in numerous places.
    5. Program remembers last directory used, or at least a text box that allows a location to be inserted and used by the program. It gets tiring everytime you save or load a selection to have to navigate to your preferred folder location.
    6. For R and L morphs, option to mirror the morph (now I can get an uneven R and L or ignore it for no change)
    7. Program follows whatever limits are set in the parameter tab.
    8. Ability to use camera controls to change view as you are applying morphs (right now, if you are running the script, you can't change the view to see how it looks from multiple angles)
    9. Multiple levels of undo (not infinite but more than 1).

Of this list, 3, 5, 6 and 8 would have a big effect on my workflow.

I'm sure more ideas will come to mind as I use it. I think you are really on to something with this product, so I hope it works out for you financially and you can afford to invest more time in making itan  even more valuable tool.

This is a great suggestion list. I think number 7 is most critical to me, because I believe that is the key to reliably saving and reloading the randomized shapes. The search and sort capabilities would be very helpful. I get around number 5 by setting a Quick Access link for the folder in Windows 10. For number 8, a workaround could be to use a multiple viewport setup with different camera angles. For number 9, we need a reliable undo before we can entertain multiple levels of undo, but it would be nice.

Wow, Barbult, that is amazing - great render and character.

Boy was I surprised to see Barbult's image.  Add a bump to the left side of the nose bridge and that is me thirty years ago.

Here's one I created a few days ago. I dialed the weight in manually after the randomizer finished. The list of products used is in my gallery here.

I've just 'liked' this in the gallery, but would have liked it twice if I could. What a wonderful character.

Thank you for the suggestions, all very good!  Also, thank you for your kind comments about having to decide what features make the cut.  It's always tricky.  That's why I really appreciate your list and the feedback I've been getting in this thread!  I've got to devote some time to other projects this month, but Randomizer seems to be filling a need a lot of people have, maybe it just needs a few more tweaks to become that "must have" product :-)

If you continue to participate in the forums, respond to user feedback and fix and improve existing products, you could be mistaken for Zev0, and that is a VERY GOOD thing. smiley

I'm very pleased with where this product has taken my workflow. I find that with this utility I've lost any interest in buying new characters.

Exactly.  Add the skin builder for Gen 2 and you can pretty much do anything with a character.

I've started converting some of the really nice V4 skins you can find to G3F. There was a V4 sale, a while back, where all the V4 Elite textures were really cheap. I bought a bunch and have started converting them using Texture Transformer.

I've started looking at new characters as to whether they will make a good "base," or if the textures seem particularly high quality.

Random character I created the other day.

    This looks great!

@barbult - This looks really like a guy I used to work with including the "Don't you dare post this photo on Facebook"  expression :)

I would definately like to see some of the updates listed by RGcincy  - Number 1 & 2  in particular would make life easier

I'm not qble to send a PM to the vendor,h or anyoine, for some reason, but I want tro suggest a searh engine for this baby. I have liuterally hundreds of morphs that could take a whole day to go through.

Thank you for the feedback!  I have a couple of bugs I need to squash, but it's looking like some kind of search or filter is high on everyone's list of requests.  I'll be working on a Randomizer update for February and I will definitely see what I can do to make sifting through large libraries a little easier :-).

I am getting a ton of use out of this script!!

One thing that would help me would be the option to dial down the strength of indivual morphs, say all at 100% by default and then right click on a specific one and set it to only 30% strength

You can do it in separate randomizations. Select the ones you want full strength and randomize those. Then clear the selections and select the ones you want at low strength. Don't check zero before randomizing, and then randomize again. This didn't work when the script was first released, because it always zeroized, whether you checked the box or not. But the vendor fixed that. So if you have the update installed, it should work now.
