...this is fantastic.
Thank you very much.. I am finding it fun converting older models to Iray , it kind of like paint by numbers using your surface tab,. :)
Yeah, old stuff with new shaders can breath such life into them. And it reveals how much surface textures and other elements matter.
And speaking of, here's some older content, free content, and others:

And from realism to...
I don't usually do anime-inspired stuff, but decided to give it a whirl: http://willbear.deviantart.com/art/Stag-General-582581147
Great stuff you guys!
I had some fun sculpting in zbrush and tried to make my own HDRI lights. I wonder why the fireflies show up. Maybe i have to change some settings in the render settings tab.
hi tirenzi
what face is this
you did it yourself ?
is it available some where ?
nice work
some playing around with dof, vignette and emission eyes

Really nice render Ivy!
Thank you very much for the nice comments :)
Ruphuss, The textures and face i have created myself. I used scan data for the morphs. As of yet she is not available yet ( hopefully in the future she will)
Something I was playing around with...

Oh thank Athe, finally got a page done. Been a little demoralized with a note from the advertizing service that 'you are being delisted due to low activity.' Nothing like busting your hinie to try to get a creative project done when maybe 10 people give a spit.
And here I am demonstrating the usefulness of Rawart's Energy effects in Iray...

Now, I'll tell you... a lot of this stuff I could probably replicate by myself. BUT... having a convenient set of morphable objects that are conducive to these effects, plus texture maps that are also conducive to fire and so on, is well-worth the regular price, IMO, and the current price is outstanding.
I've hit a tipping point with a lot of content where stuff starts synergizing nicely.
Here is a combination of King Cobra, Drakon, and Street Rat to create an interesting figure:

That's great! Reminds me of an old movie from when I was a kid called Dreamscape ;)

I remember Dreamscape! Max von Sidow, and whasisname... crud. Going to have to look it up... Dennis Quaid! Oh hey, Christopher Plummer was in it, too? Man. Should see it again.
Ah, OK, an actual product - I thought you might have home-brewed them. Nothing for G2 or G3 I take it. It has crossed my mind it would be fun to create a Zaphod Beeblebrox style character with 2 heads, but daunted by the prospect of doing a geograft without more detailed info on how to do them than seems to be available.
Alas, no. That said, with GenX2, I've migrated morphs back and forth, so almost anything I can do in Genesis 2 I can do with Genesis... so long as it's not a geograft (like the arms are).
I adore Four Arms because it's so wacky, but the other problem is that the UV maps for the extra arms are unique, so there's a somewhat short list of skins that will work across them. (Although if my procedural shader ever gets out, it will help) I ended up picking up Soomian and Triclops because they both had skins that included four arms, to extend the range of options.
There are clever ways to add arms to other characters... you can place extra bodies and use collision to help 'melt' one figure onto the next, but it's not a smooth process.
Here's an example with G2M. I think it looks pretty good, though if you zoomed in a lot it would look odd (the extra arm's shoulders would sort of fold a bit as it merged):
http://willbear.deviantart.com/art/Four-Arms-G2M-topless-557445142
With a non-human, it can look even better:
http://willbear.deviantart.com/art/Four-Arm-G2M-Exo-557453856
And again, see in the extra arms, there's sort of a short sleeve of skin folding over the shoulder. I think it looks fine, cool, even, but it might not suit a given goal. Again, all I did was place a second character, hide most of it, then set it to collide with the first character (which morphs the intersection a little).
Obviously, if you use clothes (which, admittedly, can be tricky) you can hide the joints a bit.
A Cowboy in the Snow! Hyuk hyuk!

(the vapor of his breath uses Rawart's energy effect base prop, though surface changed a bunch)
Trying for an old time pulp feel with this one.
Everyones renders looks soo great , y'all gve me a lot of inspiration & Ideas

Been wanting to pick up Octogenesis for a while. SALE helped!
And, as I said elsewhere, WOW. The Anemone hair is amazingly clever and well-designed.
Took my new 980 Ti for a spin. :)
Render Time: 4 hours 49 minutes with Render Quality set to 4.
Full version here.
...you are defintely a master at geografting. The only time I ever did it was back in Daz 2.3 with Sadie and Aiko 3 (and it was pretty darn tough as well as involved a lot of polys).
...how long?
Sorry, forgot to mention that. I've edited my post.
...how big was the render file?
The original PNG is 6.11 MB.
Sweet render, Nyghtfall. Full version looks great!
