Thanks Rafmer. I will probably post a WIP thread soon with updates.

I've always felt that those short arms on T-Rexes are proof that they were scavengers but they do look mean. Nice render.

Great image!  I love the colors on the dinos.  It's such a clear image and their skins look so leathery! Sweet!

    Agree! The textures are great.

Showing, again, the power of 'out dated' textures... here's the Daemonessa V4 skin that popped up recently on a G2M goblin (Creature HD morphs)

The environment is Through the Woods.

Looks great, Will.  I hadn't even realized that skin had came over yet.  Sure enough, I checked and it was manually added to my account!  I'm going to have to go through and see what's been added lately with the new batch of stuff.  I don't think I would have thought to put her on a goblin, but it looks nice!  I love the older stuff!

I was debating since I didn't want to cover her chest, then realized it'd make a great male creature and poked around. Heh

Thanks all, Funny, the textures look way better in DS than in the game, LOL. I always thought the Acrocanthosaurus looked much cooler than the T-Rex, so I was giddy to find a model to play with.

    Here's another sneak peak...

These look great.  There was another Lens Flare product out recently, but I'm one of those who likes having more options and more than one way to do things so I'm kind of looking forward to seeing how yours differs.  Those pictures already look like they do a couple of options that aren't in the other vendor's product.  Any rough idea on when we might see this in the store?

  • Friend who plays the red guy was really sad, so I made her this picture.

    Hey Knittingmommy,

It will probably still be a few weeks... It needs to go through PASS, and some further testing. I am planning on posting an update thread on it once I finished a few things first.

    Here is another shot....

Very cool!  I'll have to save a few pennies!  :)

Awesome. And if money is an issue, just let me know and maybe we can work something out.

    @PA_ThePhilosopher

I've been waiting for such a product to come along at some point. Will make a great addition to the realistic efects tools within Daz Iray.

Quick question, just to be sure... Flares and starbursts are position dependent like in reality, meaning that are getting bigger and more intense as the light is facing more into the camera? Does it require a special camera to produce them or is there just a clever planes trick arrangement? Anyway, based on what you showed us so far, it's gonna be a sure buy from mesmiley Hope to see more when available.

    Hi @3CPO,

The product is very simple to use (it is just one camera and one light), but there is a lot of stuff in between that moves around independently of the camera that makes everything look pretty. It is fully dynamic, meaning that as you move the camera, the lens flares will move accordingly, simulating the behavior of real lens flares. Other stuff happens too with motion, such as flashes and horizontal camera streaks (as you see in the promo imgaes). All this has its own independent motion based on the motion of the camera. Further effects add to realism, such as glares (light leaks), chroma-hoops, etc.

Basically, this is a lens flare kit designed for animation, being dynamic. But since it is dynamic, it can also be posed very easily for still shots.

Well, people like the renders of skimpy outfits, so here you go.

    Drakes woot.

Ambush Alley, Hunting Drakes, and some post work to get that somewhat overexposed 'very sunny' look.

That's cool. Which DAZ dragons are they?

Daz Dragon 3 with one of the breed shapes... trex, maybe? Modified the child a little.

I gues it's next sale time for them before I buy. Very cool though.

Get the pro bundle if you can, it has a lot of morphs and whatnot.

I went without for a long time simply because it's so expensive, but managed to grab it at some hefty sale.
