if one likes it shiny why not ?
Unable to afford AM's Wolf 2, so decided to experiment with the original AM Wolf....used Grey Wolf body, coupled with White Wolf fur, applied iRay Uber Shaders, then incresed Fur Bump utilizing OOT IrayPair Hair Shaders for DAZ Studio Iray......fort the snow, I used SickleYield's snow shader from Part 3 of this Forum Thread......
I'm not saying my choices are the "only" ones. Frankly that comment is really a question since I see the shine in so many threads where the authors are striving for "realistic". As I said, one rarely see's that much shine unless the subject's skin is wet.
Aquacorn, Pyrodrag, or Bunny Girl, who will win?
Beautiful work...I was wondering what lights did you use with this set?
Something fun tonight
...goofy looking, I like it.
...nice,
Don't work much with HDRI sets as I cannot run in Iray mode while setting up a scene without Daz crashing (old GPU).
...Nessie!
Short for Loc-ness monster ( Ness-sey ) or Nessie as they call her on discovery channel..lol
This one was done using Macixs world Skydomes as well
Winter Mooring
I'm repeating myself, but... wow, that Skydomes thing looks impressive.
There's a 'tinker' part of me that rebels at the notion of buying something I can do perfectly well myself. But after 3 months of trying to do skydomes, using Carrara and other stuff, and having almost every result look like complete crud, and going to look at good HDRI skies and seeing packages of a few skies for $100+...
Yeah, going to grab that skydomes thing next chance I get.
Beautiful, Ivy!

Thank you very much .. Though I really have to give credit to the sky-dome set i used. it was very easy to set up , the boat took longer to set up with Iray material coversions than the skydome did to set up
Well, no matter how long it took to setup or what products were used, it's gorgeous. The fact that you can easily merge these 2 products to produce such a stunning image is awesome - this, to me, is the power of DAZ.

Yes I agree. with a little imagination and some kit bashing & texture conversions the scenes & renders that can be accomplished really amaze me sometimes as well..

Going for an "Old Masters" Caravaggio feel for this one. The large HD version can be seen here - Messenger of El in the Iray PBR gallery
@AlexLO
Works for me. Nice job.
Alex...there's something a little 'off' with his left nostril/mustache/lip area...I can't tell if it's a shadow line, mustache not quite lined up or something else.
Otherwise...fantastic (as usual)
Beautiful
Wizards Isle - 1080 HD Iray
Nothing hugely fancy -- mil cat with a mix of black cat/siamese/something else, LAMH preset and with Unshaven 2 hair shaders. Tweaks to mat zones as usual.
I love how it came out.
awwww thats came out real nice
Winter's Forest this took me all after noon converting Materials for Iray But it came out really nice

Nice cat! fur looks great
On holiday so only just saw this.
As far as I can remember it is the Iray Sky and Worldbase Skydome, no other lights used.
