New to me, no earthly clue when I got them (but def. more than a month ago):

(please forgive the hair pokethrough on the hat, I ran out of patience trying to get it to behave)
A dFormer maybe for the hair? But it's barely visible after zooming to check the interaction between the hair and the hat.
What hair did you use?
Overall, it's a nice render, bravo
I have both of the hat utilities for G9, just couldn't get them to do what I needed. I might try messing with it in post editing, but it was a matter of how much it bothered me vs how much I wanted to move on to the next picture. For now, the next art won out... might go back and fuss with it aome more another day.
Hair is: https://www.daz3d.com/soft-curls-long-hair-for-genesis-9 ...x2, with the second one scaled up just slightly, because it wasn't fluffy enough with just one.
Nice trick !
I bought Stonemason's A Classical Courtyard a couple of month ago, but only just got round to using it.
The little girl's dress I've had for (possibly) years but never used it before - it's from dForce Petite Style Rural Life for G8F -
The characters I've used many times, but for info they are RY Frida for V8 in the dForce Dutch Milkmaid Outfit for G8F and LY Glitter Sweets for Growing Up for G8F (Joy) with Courtney Hair for G3F & G8F and shoes from dForce Renaissance Dress for G8F
I grabbed that courtyard as well not that long ago. I liked it, but it's one of those "I like it, but I'll need to decide something to do with it" things.
I realized I never rendered https://www.daz3d.com/es3d-tauriel-and-thalius-mega-bundle-for-genesis-9!

I hadn't done a render of Emma being eccentric for a while, so here we are:

And not newly used, but I'm going to mention it anyway: https://www.daz3d.com/pret-a-jolie-outfit-with-dforce-for-genesis-9

And Whisky making a massive sandwich was an idea that I had originally abandoned because DS had completely corrupted my scene file for the tedious scene build, but which I recreated to help a friend test a script for snapping props to where the camera is looking, which helped a lot.

My husband finally recovered the hard drive from my late laptop, but hasn't been able to get it copied onto Victus, my new laptop. (Computers act weird with me, that's why. LOL.) Since I don't have access to the originals, I decided to recreate - reimagine, whatever - some character portraits of my favorite RPG PCs.
This one is of Dr. Angel (https://www.daz3d.com/millawa-8), from the Cyberpunk RED RPG, dressed up for a fun night on the town. Typical for the genre, she's run into trouble before even getting out of the https://www.daz3d.com/compact-cyberpunk-apartment-lobby. I've owned everything in the vignette for several years.

Whisky's feelings about her daughters can be mixed...
Using

Which I've had sitting around in my library unused for ages.
Did you get the effect on her daughters' tops only using simulation (inflanting the balloons in a timelined simulation?)?
Yes, that was done in simuation.
Something I rushed together as an entry for a theme challenge, so I largely jumped for stuff I already knew what I was doing with, but I did get to put https://www.daz3d.com/pw-lake-mansion and https://www.daz3d.com/spr-strap-binding-suit-for-genesis-9 to use.
Hi! I think this is my first post here. Here's a little scene featuring:
- ATVE Mods - Stinger
- Blowing in the Wind - Petals and Leaves
- dForce Classy Date Outfit for Genesis 9
- Futuristic Biker
- MSO Eve HD for Genesis 9 Feminine
- Quick Fantasy Vignette 3
- Soft Curls Long Hair for Genesis 9
while we wait for the gallery to reopen,
feel free to comment
This is from over a month ago, but since it's a good fit for the Halloween season, I thought I'd post it now. I made the series of renders after perusing my Daveyabbo collection and noticing I had his neat DeadBlade for G3F, which I obviously had forgotten I had as with 90% of stuff in my library. I felt she was a great fit for this 'Opening Theme' styled track I wanted to do for a music challenge.
(P.S. The only other two products used in these renders are an MMX smoke set and SY's cracked glass. I don't think I'd used either of those before. Rendering everything out as separate canvases allowed me to create an exaggerated parallax style effect in my video editor, which was fun!)
Are you afraid of the dark?
Geneis [LEFT], Genesis 8.1 [MIDDLE] & Genesis 3 [RIGHT]
They all have character, but the Genesis version has a distinct personality
Straps ...
Story:
Neva had a way of stopping people mid‑stride. Not with noise or bravado, but with effortless confidence she carried like a second skin. Out here in the dust‑bitten outskirts where everything was patched together from whatever the world hadn’t managed to break, she stood in front of her rig and lifted her hands as if presenting a masterpiece. In a way, she was. Her top, a clever use of tie‑down straps wrapped buckled into place, wasn’t just clothing; it was a declaration. A simple reminder that survival wasn’t only about grit, but also about imagination.
She grinned as she showed off her creation, palms open and waiting for the inevitable questions. Neva had always been the one to turn necessity into style. Spray cans rattling at her hips, boots scuffed from miles of forgotten highways, hair streaked with the same orange she used to tag warnings on crumbling walls. Behind her, the hulking vehicle loomed like a loyal beast, tires thick enough to roll over the world’s last obstacles. But Neva wasn’t posing for the machine or the ruins around her. She was celebrating the small triumphs: the cleverness of making something new from the remnants of the old, the joy of wearing her own ingenuity proudly, and the quiet hope that creativity could still thrive even when everything else had fallen away.
In the fading light, she looked less like a scavenger and more like a spark—bright, stubborn, and impossible to ignore.
Image Info:
It took a while to create this image. I got Neva when she first came out (2-3 months ago?), but no matter what I did, I just couldn't find the story to match her personality. I added the morphs I needed to make her "just right", and tried several different iterations of outfits, but nothing really fit her personality. Picking up the Metro Straps Bundle by Aeon Soul was the final bit of inspiration for the image. Finally, something that fit her personality that a story could grow from.
The character is based on Neva for Genesis 9, with a lot of addition morphs. For her outfit, the top is from Metro Straps Bundle and the Wasteland Outfit for Genesis 9 and 8 both from Aeon Soul. Her "body paint" is from Skin Effects: Wasteland Grease also from Aeon Soul (there is also a dirt layer on her skin). Scene lighting is provided be the default DAZ Studio HDRI with several spotlights. The scene is XI Barren Land, and the vehicle is Wasteland Offroader.
