Thank you Hansmar and Bunyip02.
Wow mermaid and Horo. All beautiful and dramatic.
Thank you NGartplay.
Thanks Horo, Hansmar, Bunyip02 and NGartplay
Horo - beautiful stacked terrain, a nice view from the EWL.
Thank you mermaid.
Two terrains created from a Bryce render were warped and given a simple material. Lighting and colour by the Rainbow3_LLx2 HDRI (unpublished) and some specular and additional light by the sun.
Horo: I like how the rays of light shine on the fairy. The mountain scene has a special feel thanks to the textures you used. The foggy forest reminded me of a place I visited years ago. The alien artifacts are very well lit, almost looking like they're on a store counter. I really liked the glass city; the reflection of the surroundings gives it a very special touch. The rest of your terrain is equally good (I even found a Great Wall of China feel to it). The multidimensional room with the teapot looks very psychedelic in all three versions. The last one with the warped terrain is very surreal.
mermaid010: The water-like effect on the terrain is very well done. The ship at the end of the cavern is very well done; I had a similar idea for a while. The space station looks great against that background. The city looks excellent behind the fog and reddish sky.
Hansmar: The rocky terrain turned out very well. The image with the lighthouse is picture-perfect enough to be used on a postcard (it kind of reminded me of Mojoworld).
I think I've commented on all the images, so please excuse me if I missed any (it's late and I'm sleepy).
This is my personal version of one of the covers I would have used for my anthology, but the editor used an AI-generated image (which I didn't like), and you can see it in the lower right corner. I know I did a rushed job and didn't polish the text details well enough, but it was enough to get over my indigestion. I hope that if there's a third book, I can do the illustrations myself, and if not, I'm just not eager to see it published. I don't know about you, but I still believe that using AI is cheating, especially when money is charged to "create" an image using this method.
Horo - absolutely magnificent resul, beautiful colors
Teobaldo- thanks, the book cover is awesome. AI definitely kills creativity unfortunately it's here to stay.
Teobaldo - thank you. I fully agree that the book cover you made is superior to which AI came up with. I hope your book will be a success nevertheless.
mermaid - thank you.
Amazing terrain abstract, Horo.
I also like your version very much, Teobaldo. I guess the editor wanted a person in there? And thanks for your comments.
Thank you Hansmar.
The rock is a self made terrain viewed from above, with a self made material. In front of the camera the EWL (extreme wide-angle fisheye lens) from Lenses and Filters. Light, colour and backdrop by an unpublished HDRI and a bit by the sun.
Horo, thos are amazing looking creations. The amount of detail is fantastic.
Teobaldo, I agree about the AI since it takes images from the internet and you can't be completely sure that copyright isn't being infringed.
Wow Horo amazing colored rock, awesome colors
Thank you NGartplay and mermaid.
A simple silhouette scene, the lighting is from Hdri Captured Volumetric Skies
Horo - Warped Terrains are awesome, Rock is gorgeous
Teobaldo - Book cover is spectacular, unfortunately the cat is out of the bag with AI and it's not going back in ......
Mermaid - Scene is wonderful
Thanks Bunyip02
Bunyip02 - thank you.
mermaid - beautifully done night scene.
Thanks Horo
Weird rock, Horo. but lovely colour scheme.
Great silhouette night scene, Mermaid010. Love the shadow of the leaves in the light on the ground
Thank you Hansmar.
Thanks Hansmar
The trees and the castle is created by nergal83 and can be downloaded from cgshare. Light comes from the sun only. Intensity 250! Thanks for watching.
Elektro Elvis - This hilly scene with the castle looks very nice.
The terrain was self made and given a material from High Resolution Terrains 4. The water is a 2D-Face with a self made material. Sky and ambient light by the CloudSphere9 and the belonging SkySC9 HDRI from the Sky Toolbox and the key light by the sun.
Horo: The terrain looks fabulous. It reminds me of something similar I tried to do two decades ago and didn't finish because I neglected 3D. The lagoon at the bottom of the valley is amazing; the landscape gives the impression of a place to relax and forget about your problems.
Electro-Elvis: The landscape with the castle is very beautiful, it's like a photo taken from above.
mermaid010: The silhouette of the tree with the moon in the background looks very realistic; the lighting is perfect.
Thank you all for continuing to participate; it's in our hands to keep Bryce's flame alive.
Electro-Elvis - a beautiful photorealistic scene with the castle.
Horo - another awesome scene, also photorealistic.
Thank you Teobaldo.
Electro-Elvis - Superb scene !
Horo - Another amazing landscape !
Thank you Teobaldo, mermaid and Bunyip02.
mermaid, your moon looks awesome. I have such trouble with moons in my images.
Horo, the land around the water looks so believable. Well done.
