well it is October tomorrow here in Australia anyway so he's gotta be close I haven't got this new G2M character from Fisty & Darc Fred Winkler Art FW Alfred HD for Michael 6 http://www.daz3d.com/fw-alfred-hd-for-michael-6 ; but looking at the promos was impressed hoping these creators have done at least one of the bonus skin characters in the Michael 7 bundles any guesses what theme Michael 7 will have or do you reckon it'll be a mix of everyday, scifi/s-hero, fantasy
Well, M6 was mostly fantasy stuff... I'd like sci-fi to go with the casual stuff this time out.

maybe get something like what Karen 7 got? I'd like some fantasy stuff stil but some scifi and super hero type stuff would be pretty cool and some good capes be great if we got a new super suit with lots of kit bashing add ons like different shoulder pads, helmets, piping/tubing, armours, cloths you could attatch to shoulder pads (Boba Fett for example)/groins/back sides - like those on Snow Troopers (Star Wars again) and Cylons (from classic Battlestar Gallactica) and hoping the G3M skins will be many and various more likely M7 will be pinup looking but would like to see a few grizzled hardened characters perfect for renders of characters been through a few scrapes.
It would be great if we did sci-fi with M7, this time. I'm not seeing it though. The store seemsmore focused on fantasy which sadly I do not tend to use.
i speculate that 2 weeks after micheal comes out we get a new female *chuckles*

For the record, the last Male propack I purchased was Micheal 5. And that was because he came with a sexy Scoopback Mini Dress.

Not sure if I'll buy or not. G2M provides what I require. The better bending is a plus, but the complete lack of morphs available at first makes him useless; I'll likely wait as for the next few months I haven't the time to make my own morphs like I have done with G3F.
If the character's pro pack is as low in price as Josie was, then maybe, but the normal price is too high for me to justify at this stage; another thought too, he's going to be a hunk too? Another negative from my perspective.
Let's see, $90 to buy pro M7 so he actually has a willy, then another $20-30 for basic morphs, then a few more figures at $15-30 a pop, then maybe some other morphs, and bend assist, and...
Well DAZ and PA's are quiet so it's either a new version of DS or a new major figure. I'm actually looking forward to Genesis 3 male, esp for the better bends and hopefully a better nipple! lmao
Yes, I can't wait for M7 - and I can't wait for his CONTENT. I'm hoping for a real good treasure chest of outfit this time. Military clothes (including dress uniforms and pilot outfits), worker clothes, street clothes, nice and well fitting costumes with rigid buttons, goth rockers outfits, hats, shoes, glowes etc. SciFi clothes and steampunk ditto. My main complaint with G2M was the meagre selection of clothes for him. If you were into scifi, steampunk or historial renders there were very little to chose from to suit up G2M, so I kept on using the same things over and over again. We didn't even get the bot armor for G2M, and that was quite a dissapointment.

Now I remember why I just bought Bot for Genesis and didn't bother for G2F (ironically, probably feeding the designer's feeling that there wasn't a market for G2M)
Which reminds me... PAs? I, and I think a number of people, will just NOT buy content if it's only for G2F and not G2M, particularly for 'races' or uniforms and such. There are exceptions -- I bought Red Cap and Reptilian mainly because while the first was G2F only and the second G2M only, I can easily tweak them to reflect variations (for Red Cap, androgynous and flat chest does the trick, for example).
But if someone makes Fancilious Death Soldier armor that's G2F only? That's... a low ROI; I'd only buy that if I want to make a one-off picture or have a character who is the only member.

The only thing I need to know about M7 won't be known till the pro pack comes out. Genesis had more bones than G2M did in their probits. Since they upped their game with G3F probits, wonder if they do the same for M7. But I don't know about this stuff from practice its more academic in nature.
Not having bot armor for gen 2 male was a disappointment but the limbs can be applied to gen 2 male, even if it isn't ideal. Hopefully more cyber parts will be released for gen 3. Seems like a no brainier.
agree about clothing for men. We could certainly use more and since pro packs are often the only way to get stuff, I'm eagerly awaiting what may be released.
Thankfully, for my purposes, any lacking quality of Genesis is easily chalked up to 'is a robot.'
You can actually fit Genesis bot stuff to Genesis 2, it just fails to mask out the limbs properly.

Well, I tend to think we are.
That said, bearing in mind that Corey's meant to be a toon, he's what I describe as "50% good looking, 100% ugly". I did a full comparison of most of 3DUniverse's male toon characters and he fits in just fine, much better at 50%. I think his texture map hurts him a litlte. I took Jason's texture map, Toon Amy's texture map, set both Corey and Callie at 50% -- no other morphs -- and scaled the heads down to 95% and I got what I consider great toon character bases, especially with Jason and Jazelyn's hairs.

M7 has ran off with Scott 6 having decided between the two of them they are tired of wearing v7s castoff clothing, and collectively owning gstring, a pair of ubiquitous surfer shorts, sandals and a barbarian outfit.
they either have the same hairstyle too, or one od them is bald.
I agree with the thought that when a new Victoria is released she should have a consort, a new Michael. Daz is missing out on an opportunity to sell them as a bundled couple. I disagree with the inability to get genitalia without buying the pro version of a model; it should at least be offered as a separate purchase--there are a lot of items in a Pro Pack that I don't want, it would be better if I could pick and choose just what I want.
I'm hoping when M7 does arrive that there will be a new version of the Freak. We need a large man with more real world proportions and without excessive exagerraton. I thought the Freak 4 was ideal, he had the body that actual real world power lifters have in spite of some rigging issues in Poser. I think maybe the name Freak should be changed to reflect a larger male figure that doesn't have to be ugly or a monster. Something like Atlas or Zeus or Hercules or Samson. Honestly I haven't been very happy with the last two generations of Michael. I thought Michael 4 was closer to the body type of real world man; M5 and M6 are more similar to M3--slender runway model men.
Do women really want their men to be slender, runway model types? I assume that what Daz thinks woman want in a man comes in a lot when they are designing figures.
Eh, I'm sure we'll see M7 soon.
After the umptheenth release of generic bra/panties with a slight variation in the lace trim each, uncomfortable looking short shorts that are the equivalent to a mega wedgie on a woman, vaguely sexist/fetishy skimp gear, and incredibly impractical high heels that would kill a woman via falling down if she even went down a single stair, that is. XP
