Oooh that makeup line along her jaw is pretty glaring (assuming its not the lighting). Good catch. I wouldn't expect to see anything done about it though, sadly.
that's the glitch you only get the extra discount if you buy two items this time around so if you just buy the pro bundle and one other item you get the extra discount plus your coupon and whatever revs you got, adding the extra item wont get you anything and in some weird cases force the price up maybe they decided for this specific day sale only they decided that was bonus discount enough which is huge for a new release pro bundle and when they change to the next day the 3 item bonus + other bonuses will be reactivated for the new stuff but not TJ
I see her as more Hispanic than "tanned" but it's still nice to have. It's a bit too smooth though - no moles, freckles, hair, or other imperfections to break it up.
I hear ya on the test renders, it looks good for a test render. Pony tail just stuck out to me. Prolly cause I don't want any competition when I apply for the Mars mission.
It's the same regardless of lighting position, face type, or translucency strength. It doesn't look nearly as sharp on her unwrapped texture, but it's odd that there's no no makeup option. I guess Josie just wears makeup 24/7 and no one's taught her how to blend it properly, poor girl.
She's also at the median height for a full grown woman, 5'5".
It's possible that the photo session for the textures was done in a hurry and the model didn't clean her face properly.
CHEERS!
is this a remake character you've done of your profile pic or you just used this new character as your new avatar if it's the first and your avatar is a genesis 2 character you created than that's a pretty impressive remake update on TJ you did
in our new season of x factor here in Australia they had this attractive girl who could sing pretty good she looks 18 or older shocked everyone said she was 14 glad I don't work anywhere that sells stuff you have to over 18 to buy like smokes and booze
their stuff is often that way, which makes them great for stylized characters. no need to blur out all the details. I said tanned cause I wasn't going to give her an ethnicity. She doesn't seem hispanic though. Might be from another planet. I dunno. Most of my characters are from other planets so I may have a bias.
depends on the render you look at though. I saw on render where I might have thought she was hispanic, but other renders put her into more into "blackish" territory. I would say brown but that means something apparently.
I had the same feeling with Josie 6, I didn't use her much, but when I did, I shrank the head, eyes, and narrowed the neck, made all the difference in the world, and easy to do.
was wondering about buying that leotard for my older ladies so if it don't fit TJ too well then there probably be a lot of poke through for them worse on Beth, emotions for TJ6 fits her perfectly though, pity looks reasonable dance outfit, what's the Friday Hair like? looks like a very nice hair and with a lot of movement morphs
Yeah, they always skew tall. She's as tall as Mei Lin LOL. Where are our 4 footers!
I feel the same way CypherFox as I too am on a business trip at the moment. Wish I could render tonight. I am going to get her the price can't be beat and I like the everyday outfits.
The discounts should now be fixed.
A make-up line on a natural texture does sound like an issue worth reporting - please do so if you haven't already.
I don't have any other Gen3 figures yet (was waiting for more content but a lot of it seems to be arriving now) but I tested on the base female with regular and pear shapes etc. and the leotard fit fine. It only seems to run into issues with some of the more extreme dance poses. In retrospect it's usually in places that won't really be visible (I was just rotating around checking everything at the time but I doubt you'd notice it in the sitting shot) so I'd say you'd be good to go.
I like the Friday hair so far. The morphs feel sort of simple and to the point? Fewer controls than my current favourite oot Zoey hair, but they do the things I want them to without much effort.
Her eyes are creepy large; the irises too, easy to fix though.
5 feet 4inches (measure metrics - just looked) - which puts her anything from about twelve(ish) - allbeit very tall - to an adult, and not the shortest of adult females either.
For me the eyes stop her being a teen, and turn her into a younger-looking creature, but a potentially scary one.
Prefer the texture to Josie 6; thinking it should be very versatile.
Makes customisation easier, can add those for different figures; don't have to remove them from the texture first, like I've had to do with almost all other G3F texures. Except Skyler, but that is almost too bland... I prefer it to some of those I bought though as they are harder to customise.
I think she looks good, and might get her... I will join the camp wishing she was a little more realistic. This style with the too big head and eyes when she's not really a "toon" has frustrated me in the past, especially Josie 6... And this generation's version seems closer, if not quite to where I want. I might still want to try scaling and see how it goes. A DAZ teen could have real proportions and still be somewhat doll-like, and I'd be thrilled. The classic real-world example:
Thanks. It is just the standard light, that comes with Daz Studio, when rendering with iray.
For a minute there I was extremely impressed with your Natalie Portman render.
But its just a photo right?
If I had to crit it, I would say the displacement in the lips is a bit too strong. But otherwise a nice render.
Lol you guys are too much. Definitely a photo, although I am tempted to try.
I should maybe say she could also *not* be doll-like and I'd be thrilled. But if doll-like is a prerequisite to being a DAZ teen, it is possible to be doll-like and have the head proportions of a real human.
I'm not really sure what you're referring to. Do you mean the Ruins-B-500 hdr in the environment map? Or do you mean you set up some portrait lighting using the standard photometric lights?
Josie 7 is lovely, and I don't think she is a stylized character. Young Teens very often have these long, thin arms and legs, while the torso remains shorter for a while. The only thing I don't like on her are the far too long lower eyelashes. They look very unnatural, and the DAZ head morphs don't allow to change upper and lower lashes separately. So I have to take other figures' lashes.
It was a good idea to give Josie 7 this Dance Gear set. The G3 generation has the best ballet feet!
Yes. Hispanic certified. She looks as a lot of girl in my country. And yes, too smooth. Probably good to play with any skin zev0's product when these come for G3.
The eyes are big. I like the big eyes, these are goods for toon renders, but I suppose fo realistic purpuses this make some noise.
My avatar is Genesis 2 Female version :)
The head of TJ version is based on Eva7 character made few days ago.
Here is the Eva7 version :
Her face is full of freckles, here's a shot.
G3F is really big disappointment for me so far. Every figure looks shoddy and amateurish. The skin textures too often end up a weird shade of orange, so much so that there's actually been add-ons released to this effect. Josie 7 doesn't even look like a teen... or a human being for that matter. Am I the only one who's had this disappointment? I had high hopes for G3. I really like the joints, expressions, etc. but I just don't like any of the figures so far. At this point, I bet M7 will be lackluster as well.
