Yes, but you get the higher discount on the second one purchased in the afternoon. So, say you have 2 revs and buy a qualifying product after Daz midnight. The new purchase would have had a 52% discount, and now you are up to 3 revs and 58% discount. If you make another qualifying purchase anytime before the next Daz midnight, you don't get another rev, but your purchase(s) would be at 58%.
Whilst 64% off older products is nothing special by recent standards, 64% off new products is actually as good an initial discount as I can remember.
I agree 100%. You'll be able to get all this stuff in a month or two for 60% off anyway, so unless you need it right now, there's no point in taking the 40% knock, and if you don't have any revs, then 40% is not very enticing on the older products either.
I'm still hoping and praying that we see a sale on some of the older stuff without needing any revs, but I'm not all that optimistic.
I think one of the major problems with this sale is that the visualization on the sale site is bad. We earn 'Rev Points' but we don't 'see' them (especially now that we can have technically 6 at a given time, but only sort of see 4). Yeah, there's a thing that shows our current discount, but if you're gonna call these 'Rev Points', how about for each day of the sale there's a grey little dot (in a line of dots) and when you purchase something that day, it turns into a colorful icon with a mousevoer message that say 'Congratulations, you earned a Rev Point for this day. It will be good until [insert date]!'. And next to that line of dots put a display that says how big our current discount it. Then feel free to give the whole thing a car / motor theme or whatever.
There must be some way to set up these sales without spawning half a dozen threads discussing how they might work.
This. Not sure they have the resources to fix it this time, but maybe they should keep it in mind for the future.
