I must admit I like wine tastings.  Used to go to one regularly, one time we got to do a wine tasting on a tour boat up the River.  That was fun, a boat trip and wine tasting all in one.

    the Tames?

wonder if Hudson River does em

    Yes The Thames.

Monday, it was 33F this morning, windy, blech.  Will warm up during the week, maybe rain Thanksgiving and/or Black Friday.

is difference between cigar tobacco and cigarette tobacco?  smells totally different

Not to a non-smoker, but yes. Cigars are harsher.

I'm a non-smoker, and I can distiguish readily between cigarette smoke, cigar smoke and pipe tobacco smoke.

I'm an ex-smoker and they all gag me and evoke daggers from my eyes aimed directly at the offender.

That they do.  Interestingly, I find some pipe tobaccos to have a pleasant odor.  However, I still would not suggest smoking.

Morning. Sunbeams dancing on bright-edged towers of steel and glass in a fabulous bright ballet of reflected light and shade on far-below and bustling city streets  :)

Found a pair of blue house socks and put a jacket on.   Finally with much hassle I get to watch a disney chanel movie called Descedents.   I had a coupon for Disney movies but that apparently did not include Disney channel movie.

why do i live so far from work.  wait for bus in 30Fs, on bus an hour+, walk a mile in the dark on ill lit road with barely room to walk near cars going over 30mph limit, in 30Fs temps.

if i didn't have egg nog and neighborly buppy hugz waiting for me at home i'd be feeling sorry for myself.

This is my morning commute for now:

    - Get up at 5:40am, at 610:am walk to the McDonalds, arrive about6:20am, get coffee and a hash brown, cath 6:40am bus to light rail, get on light rail at 7:15am, arrive station near work at 7:45am, get cab, at work by 8:00am or so.

This is my morning commute after I move:

    - Get up at 5:40am, cook and eat breakfast, leave home around 6:25am, walk 3 minutes to bus stop, catch 6:35am bus to rail station, the rest is just like the above.

I'll save a ton on breakfast, and once the crock pot is operational that'll save more cash  (and the cost of going out for wings on the weekend).

One more thing to buy before I can start on my next album for real... indecision

Morning. Big wind bending treetops and lifting trash from roads and pavements on the wings of a tropical storm into ragged  purple edged overcast. brushing city tower-tops :)

I am getting sleepy, maybe I will lie down in my bed for a while.

Is blowing up a real big storm here, going across Westgate bridge was a bit hairy big trucks swaying and weaving in the wind backlit by an ominous purple and orange edged sky :)
