How about more 50's shows like "December Bride" with Spring Byington and Harry Morgan, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yjQRcyTWUZg

or "Our Miss Brooks" with Eve Arden, Gale Gordon and even Richard Crenna (as a teenager), https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VWmy_gAzRs8

or "Private Secretary" with Ann Sothern, Don Porter and Zazu Pitts, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vj4C3PQhvJw

or "I Married Joan" with Jim Backus (Mr. Magoo voice) and Joan Davis, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m85OvOn-n2w

or "George Burns & Gracie Allen Show" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p3GZAJSZZ_0

or even "Perry Mason" with Raymond Burr, Barbara Hale and William Hopper?

Ah, the 50s!!! Great shows for boys.  Shows like "Rocky Jones, Space Ranger", "Captain Midnight" and "Science Fiction Theater".

All those shows often featured many actors as secondary characters who later went on to have their own shows or be featured characters on TV or in the movies.

But, I have to admit that many of the shows, especially from the early 50s are hard to watch now days because they rarely changed camera angles and the pace of plot development seems frustratingly slow.  It wasn't until the "I Love Lucy" show that the 3-camera stage started becoming standard for TV.

PS: I live just outside Jamestown, NY, the city that Lucy mentioned as her birthplace several times on the show.  She actually is from this area and is buried in the Jamestown Lakeview Cemetery.  Also Jamestown now has a Lucy Museum, a Lucy Theater, and an annual Lucy Festival and Comedy Fest http://www.lucycomedyfest.com/  is held here, and I just heard that the old, but recently refurbished, Erie Railroad Station is going to be part of a new complex for the "National Comedy Center" http://www.comedycenter.org/ . Yeah, big whoop!  But the Comedy fest brings comedians like Jerry Seinfeld and Jay Leno into this podunk little city.

PPS: Apparently the National Comedy Center is so new that their website still isn't far along nor properly functional.  But here's a better article. http://www.wgrz.com/story/news/local/southern-tier/2015/08/01/groundbreaking-set-for-national-comedy-center-jamestown/30980965/

...busy day for a Sunday, errands, a new bridge opening, and Bernie Sanders in town.  Just got back and am tired.

Well, seems the screen "blank out" issue is due to something else.  Happened this morning and again just s few minutes ago. Running CPU-Z and core temps are very nominal, so again, it can't be due to CPU overheating.  Graphics accelerator temps also well in acceptable range so that isn't the culprit either. HDD is not showing any anomalies either, Turned off all screen saver and monitor shut off options so not sure what is causing this (occurred once again as I was writing the previous sentence - now on the workstation which wasn't meant to be used for heavy Net activity).  The "three finger salute" doesn't reset it as the display hasn't actually turned off, but just gone blank. The only thing I can do is to hold the power button down until it shuts down and then start it up again.  It boots up fine, no warnings or anything out of the ordinary.

Beginning to be a little frustrating and worrisome as the notebook is my main source of comminication..

After many months of international collaboration, Shared Ideas has released a video using one of the tracks from my album "Thrown Against The Sky":

    YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KqZwnAC9tcA

    Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/132178996

This is a very dark piece, and the fractal artist Julius Horsthuis ( http://www.julius-horsthuis.com/ ) has done an excellent job bringing the sound into vision.

    Enjoy!

PS: while creating this post I forgot about my Pizza slice in the microwave.  And, I had set it for 6 and a half minutes on full power instead of 20% power.  Did you know that after about six minutes pizza in a microwave on full power begins to smoke amazingly voluminously and turns to a mass of charcoal?  Entire apartment experienced a 3 foot visibility limit.  I've been diving in a turbid ocean with more visibility.

Yep. I knew that. Evidence included. That's when my microwave went nucking futz.

That is what my ride apparently thought my appointment was.  Got to the appointment about half an hour too late.  Trying to see if the dentist will still see me.

Monday, and yeah, a few complaints!

Neck sore from sleeping funny, hot and muggy outside, out of tea, sleepy, tired despite good sleep, fussy.  Want to go home and take a nap, but can't, too much work to do.

Non-complaints: video released, possible 2nd. one to do, got al the gear I need for album #2, have lots of music ideas!

    Speaking of Carrara...

These images were rigged, posed, fluffed, and rendered (though modeled in Sculptris) in Carrara as well. The environments they're in are photographs though ^^
