YES!!!!!
Seeing as some think Orvile is the true successor to the concept, ideas, and end goal of Star Trek I think adding it to the pantheon is acceptable and a welcome addition.
That said...being my opinion.
Coming real soon to Studio users and I'm sure poses to follow for G3 and G8 figures.

Gorgeous.
And yes, much like Galaxy Quest I think it definitely fits.
I haven't done a update to my STAR TREK: UNIVERSE II series in a long time... they are coming, I'm promise!!! I just need some ideas and motivation!!!

But in the meantime... here one I did and one for maybe a future concept (different reality)...
What do you think?
It's been a while since I have done some work on modifying the TMP Enterprise Bridge but I started doing some work on it again. This time adding some details like the overhead astrogator above the helm/Nav Station
I like the green patterned texture better. The light color and patterning gives a more real appearance. The red washes out her breasts / contours of her body that the green does not do... besides... you don't want to make the Captain a red shirt... or do you?!
That's a neat take on that.
I know that this part was originally on the wall for the Phase II Bridge but they moved it to the overhead when they modified and redesigned the sets for TMP. Been tackling other genres, but after taking this class on design and everything, I wanted to use what I have learned to continue work on this version of the Bridge
I don't have much to show, but been trying to do some work with cameras and getting the right feel for set design. Get the right feel I am going for with my story. But here is a test shot of Captain Streeter's quarters on the refitted Forrestal
Hey all! Been some time. Just thought I'd drop in and tell you that there will be something coming in the near future regarding my Trek fancomic The Flight Of The Condor. And I'll drop a picture too!
Love your picture has that TMP feel to it.
Thanks! The Condor herself is supposed to bridge the gap tech and stylewise between TOS and TMP. I'm kinda taking a quasi Phase II approach.
Wanted to show some of the progress. With all the concept ideas and everything eventually I will get the bird off the ground. Special Thanks to AshleyTinger again for use of her TMP Sickbay, Transporter and Corridor set.
Test Render using the Prism Camera and TMP scanner created by me and something I am planning to release for use. .
I slapped together A Talosian from Trek's original pilot using M4, a random assortment of his Morphs++ settings and Capsces' "Morphus" dials, Grotto's "Grey Alien" from Rendo' and a vintage PoserWorld shrouded wraith type figure for the "robes". If the nostrils look a bit "piggy", that's just the texture Grotto made to enhance a skeletal type nasal passage. The nose itself is quite conventional. I just liked the clammy look to Grotto's maps. I'll probably paint way those dark spots and save it as a copy.
Sincerely,
Bill
Awesome
Thank you, Robert! I had thought about a Talosian for awhile and suspected the cranial expansion morphs from Grotto's "Grey" might work. It also helped Grotto included a "hyrid" dial that returned the face itself to somewhat human norms. Capsce's "Morphus" had a dial to extended the back of the skull which I thought was needed.
When you stop and think about it, the Talosians were arguably "classic" Trek's most elaborate makeup effect, and this was the pilot. The only thing that came close were the Vians from the third season's "The Empath". (I don't count the Gorn, at least not in this insatnce as it was an 'over the head" mask rather than "blended" appliances. The "false" balok was a puppet and the "real" Balok had a convenient "crown" that omitted the need to "blend" any edges.) It was also clever to employ slim framed women to help accentuate the "delicately alien" physique of the beings.
Sincerely,
Bill
Very cool! Love seeing some of my models put to use! I'm hoping to revamp a few of them and get them out for general consumption soon. :) That TMP uniform looks great!
They always creeped me out and you managed to capture that creep factor really well.
it probably helped that I illuminated the figure from below (along with some purple "fill" light) and positioned the camera similarly, rather like our first view of the beings as they studied Pike on the surface.
Sincerely,
Bill
Redfern: I love how you did the Keeper. Looks a little more creepier than on The Cage.
Ashley: Thanks :) It's mainly going to be the jacket and some of the attachments for the uniform like the scanner, rank and shoulder pips, even have a model I made of the Communicator. If I can get a good set of trousers made, right now I am using the Explorer trousers Nvent3D made since they work with the uniform.
Thanks! It could be the eyes. Grotto's "Grey Alien" materials set turn the corneas and "whites" glossy black for that classic "alien Grey" look. Meg Willie, who played the Keeper had ice blue eyes. I have not yet corrected that detail.
Sincerely,
Bill
Thanks to the new storyline in IDW's "STAR TREK: Boldly Go"... I'm might be revisiting this universe soon!
I just need some interiors (from the Kelvin Timeline Enterprise - not the bridge) to help make it go forward (if anyone can help with that)
I know someone was working on corridors for the 1701-A from the Kelvin verse and I think there's at least one corridor set you can buy as well, but I haven't seen anything beyond that other than some isometric views of the rooms. You'd need a LOT of building I think OR... there's a possibility someone out there has Star Trek The Video Game assets out there, which was all Kelvin verse based but I haven't gone looking.
EDIT: I stand corrected. rduda and JHoagland have some crew quarters with a small corridor to go with the bridge set along with a straight set of corridors.
You'd still have to figure out Engineering, that massive shuttle bay, the transporter room and Sick Bay. Well depending on the stories you wanted to tell.
What I whipped up in the last 3 days!
Recreating this pic from Season 3 Episode: Spectre of the Gun. Plus I like the back cover of the "STAR TREK 365" book that I wanted to recreate this! I hope I got the look and feel of it.
Original Screencap: tos.trekcore.com/hd/albums/3x0…
Based on the scene from "Spectre of the Gun" written by Lee Cronin (aka Gene L. Coon)
Is anyone making ay Discovery era things yet? Starfleet uniforms or Klingon morphs in particular?
I'd be interested too. I've thought about doing one for Specialist Michael but haven't gotten around to it yet.
I've been VERY tempted to work on some sets especially since the lighting in the last few episodes was good enough that I could make out a lote of set details, but I'm swamped with a LOT of work at the moment.
