I remember seeing something but I forgot what. I cannot remember all the messages I saw.
Was looking to see if anyone was posting info/images about the contest for those that received the print -- didn't see any, but if I'm repeating info already in another thread, please forgive.
You can find entries on Twitter and Facebook by searching for the hashtag that identifies them (#daz3dprinting). Looks like people have been having fun with them. :)

(sorry for tinyURLs, the forum software keeps translating # back to "#")
I only saw a couple of entries on Instagram and none on Tumblr (though I don't have an account there, maybe you need to login to search/find them?)
Thank you, DAZ.
I just got a similar letter from the post office, though they didn't ask me to pay anything yet, but to send purchase documentation so they could estimate the custom fees. I also refuse to pay $30 in custom fees for this figure, if they won't accept that they can return mine as well.
DAZ or whoever sent these figures should have put a customs label on the package stating that this was a gift as well as it's value, that's normal procedure for international mail packets. I do that myself whenever I mail something to another country.
EDIT: opened a support ticket, asking DAZ to provide some documentation that this is a gift.
Well, finally got mine yesterday, arrived in one piece. :) Thanks DAZ!
It was held hostage in customs for over a week. Those who sent it actually did put a customs label on it stating the value of $20, but forgot to write GIFT on it. If they had it would have went straight through as gifts are free from customs fees as long as the value is under $50. With purchased stuff it must be under $12, that's why they kept it. I sent them a link to this thread, apparently that convinced them it was a gift.
Got an invoice from customer service btw,, from the company that printed the figures, to use for documentation for customs, but I decided not to show it to customs unless they asked, as the price on the invoice is over $70, meaning I'd have had to pay $40-50 in fees. I don't think that represents the actual value anyway, it's dated back to nov. 2014 so it's probably a copy of the invoice for the first sample DAZ ordered. When you order 1000 of something you usually get a considerable discount.
I was surprised how heavy it is actually, but it's mostly made out of stone of course so...
