Got a popup too (and a message in my account). Am in Denmark. Not sure how much I've spent but probably some $15-20.000 (5500+ items ranging from $0 to $250+) during the last 6½ years.

No popup or message, but the box arrived addressed to my username and not my real name.. person at the front desk asking me "Who is Troutface, is that you?" :blank:

Very nice, I might have to consider getting a pinup 3D printed.. :red: :red:

I've got the notification message but she hasn't arrived yet. I'm in the UK and I expect I qualified because I spend much too much here (I am a bit of a sucker for Pro bundles :) )

Mine arrived unscathed to New York state yesterday evening, if I hadn't been reading the forums I wouldn't have known to check the door for a box. Currently she's standing on top of the modem, next to the router protecting our network. I'm thinking some double sided tape is in order since we have 3 cats and a tumble off the shelf would be fatal.

I've ordered a few times from Shapeways, I'm guessing Daz used the equivalent to full color plastic. I've only ever gotten white strong and flexible, and stainless steel things printed, they both felt a good deal stronger than Vicky here but neither take detail as well and would have to be painted, of course.

I received my Victoria 6 figure yesterday as well in central Ohio and it appears to have been shipped without any damage.

Based on the video that is posted in the 3D Print section of the web site and the description of the 3D print process is sounds like they used a printer similar to the ones used for the Shapeways "Full-Color Sandstone" material option (gypsum powder bonded with colored adhesive (one video I saw of the Z-Corp brand printers showed them installing an HP InkJet cartridge in the printer), dipped in cyanoacrylate (super-glue) for the final finish).

According to the Victoria - in - Action info page, she's made of powdered gypsum bonded with cyanoacrylate (super-glue), which is then coated with a proprietary varnish for sheen and strength.

And I'll just say it because it's worth repeating: V6 looks really cool!

Very tempted on a couple of the new figures!

while I am waiting I decided to do the usual virtual one
bit disappointed Smay's suit is only 3Delight procedural coloured, had to add my own diffuse colours etc for iClone and would for Octane and carrara too or renders B&W

That's another reason this figure is so cool to me - since I have all of the products used for it, I can re-create it myself and create new poses.

I got the same message as HeraldOfFire via a popup at the Daz store. They asked me to update my address so they could send me a free gift for being a "valued customer" and such.

I have bought a few things of late...and I've been told I have a British knack for understatement...;)

I live in Minnesota, USA. Got it on the 2nd of February.

I do consider it rather fragile, and the bubble wrap may not be sufficient packaging. But I am very happy with it. :)

Glad to hear they were asking then for updated addresses 'cause mine is not a mailable one! I would gladly update if they want to send me one too. However I expect they reached their 1,000 quota or whatever. No sour grapes, I could not spend thousands of dollars in here.
But Congrats to all who did get one.

Looks to be nice ... sounds like packaging needs to be addressed ... we used to use crumbled newspaper for manually delivering greenware so as to not break the horses' legs ... but greenware isn't going to survive those airport baggage handlers lol ...

    {greenware is the clay modeled for ceramics before it is baked}

Hope I get mine today or tomorrow! We had a huge snowstorm that stopped most mail yesterday and the side roads aren't much better today. They're working on it around the clock, so, hopefully.......Sigh!

Mine arrived unscathed yesterday. It was nice to see the package on the porch when I got back from school (my first day back after a three month break for medical reasons). I'm in Pennsylvnia (Stiller Country), I'm not sure where Vicky was shipped from. I'm really intrigued by the custom 3d printing DAZ is going to be offering. I'm not sure I would ever use a 3d printer enough to justify buying one, but I have a few characters I'd like to get done.

Hopefully they will sent this nice gift to users outside the USA.Shipping costs are extremly high. Has anyone outside the USa tried to buy one of the 3D figures from the shop? I can add the figures to my card, but I don't know, if they accept my order, when I live not in the USA, apart from that I can't see any shipping rates. I believe that shipping is not for free.

When you Proceed to Checkout it calculates shipping costs, including overseas.

Big thanks to DAZ for sending me one of these 3D Print of V6. Mine arrived today via FEDEX. Will treasure it. Who knows...maybe 50 years from now, when I am very old and decrepit, it could be worth $10M??? Hey, you never know.

I have seen stuff in my street the last day I have always missed thanks to being on edge about delivery
such as a truck that waters the street tree saplings I never knew regularly drove by
and neighbors getting home delivered groceries
    already planning my first purchase
    Jaderail
3Dsom web export from DS3 untextured to give me an idea and all DAZ originals, I have indy license so this encrypted flash object should be covered

Giving a huge Thank You to the folks here at DAZ for a pretty cool gift - a 3D Print of V6!

    Nightwolf1982,

Thank you for sharing a photograph of the 3D print you received.

Even though I haven't been around lately due to health issues I'm looking forward to seeing how this 3D Print venture develops. :-)

...uh oh, may have to talk to the landlady. Could have sent it back if it was addressed to Kyoto Kid (or to the upstairs neighbours as they have 2 kids).

Still no package, but I really don't care that much. I'd rather the mailman be safe. The roads and sidewalks are still not good. Ours are fine but most of the neighbors haven't done squat about the snow. Well, school is back on so maybe they'll get a move on for their kids safety if not anyone elses.

    Ooooh... Another photo! Thank you.

Not sure who is doing the attacking. The fluffy bunny ravor-back or the glossy Vicky. ;-)

I'm curious about the quality of the prints the particular 3D Printing technology being used is capable of and the photographs help. Looking forward to when information is released about custom prints.

Did you get a site message telling you one had been sent (and an earlier one asking you to check your shipping address)? If not you would not have been included, as far as I know.

I got mine a few days ago. Unfortunately the stand has a broken piece. I was hoping they would replace it but they suggested I glue it. It was free but I am genuinely disappointed that it was broken. I have easily spend thousands at the store and I was really frustrated with the store before it was redesigned because it allowed duplicates to be purchased. It took a while for me to sort out the money I wasted on duplicate purchases. /cry
