One gun snapped off just at the hand, and other gun and hand snapped at the wrist. Opening support ticket per Richard's request.

Packaging was two pieces of large bubble wrap, not secured, and model was free to move about inside box.

Thank you DAZ, but I'm glad I didn't pay for it - this would've been quite disheartening.

Thank you very very much for this beautiful gift. I have received it (I am in Europe) and the only problem was with the right hand that was broken at the wrist. It was easily fixed. :)

I really appreciate the gift and as a long time DAZ supporter and customer I will just tell you this: you are the best! :)

Hi Wendy. Thank you for sharing the nice big photos of the 3D print. Both photos showed great views of the print. Almost as good as if I could hold and look at the real thing in person. Gives me an even better idea of what to expect when the custom printing becomes available. And a Happy Birthday to you.

The limited-edition 3D print of Victoria in Action arrived in Switzerland on February 10 in perfect condition.

Thank you DAZ 3D for this surprising gift!

Since I am more of an outdoor photographer I created some macro photographs in the snow.

    - - -

Additional information for those interested in product or macro photography:

    I used a Sony ICLE-7R with a SEL-30M35 macro lens.
    F 3.5
    1/1000 sec.and 1/2500 sec
    ISO 80
Cropped Resolution of the original images:
    3200x4800 and 4800x3200

    - - -
    - A silver reflector was used to bounce the sun rays back on the Victoria 3D print.
    - Automatic focus with face recognition did work on the 3d printed face!
    - Eye auto focus was a bit more challenging but also did work from directly frontal angles.
    - The minimal focal distance of 9.5cm of the SEL-30M35 macro lens helped to get very close to the figure.
    - I intentionally kept the weapons out of focus. If you want to have the whole figure sharp adjust from F3.5 towards F11.

Thanks DAZ for the nice Gift.

I got mine yesterday here in Ontario, Canada. She was broken, both hands and the base so I will buy glue today and see if I can fix her.
as noted above the size of the bubble wrap appears to be the issue as the parts that were broken were actually between the bubbles held in place but as everything could shift if one piece of wrap moved and the other didn't then it would easily snap.

The quality of mine seems fine from initial look but will be checking further as I glue her back together..

I got my Vicky today, here in England. They tried to deliver yesterday but I was out so I'm just back from the post office. It's a lovely model. Unfortunatly her left hand is broken off.

The original notification said what the best type of glue was to mend her, but that has gone now (even though I never deleted it). Does anyone remember what type of glue they recommended?

    I recall i was superglue.

I used to be superglue once. Didn't stick.

I used Gorilla Glue to fix mine, don't know if you have it there in the UK. But the recommendation was plain old liquid superglue.

I used Gorilla Glue to fix mine too.... just a very very small dab and hold it in place for 30 seconds.

Mine arrived this morning, here in the UK. Thankfully intact! The bubble wrapping was large and chunky, which probably helped.

While all in one piece, I did notice a small sliver of sharp metal which must have somehow got embedded in the model while it was still wet. It's on the right leg, a bit below the knee (location of calf muscle), on the outside of the right leg. It's not really noticeable unless you look at it, close up, but I'm curious as to whether anyone else encountered that.

Bigger than I thought it would be! The head and shoulders go above the height I had been expecting.

Nice model, Daz. It's now on display for any visitors to see. Thanks for selecting me as one of the chosen few. :)

It arrived here as well - thank you very much for this nice and unexpected gift!

Gotta add though, both hands did break off. For a free gift, no problem at all. But....if this was intended as a sort of advertisement for 3D-printing and the shipping thereof, well, I can not say it helped my confidence :/

I still haven't found my earwig... I have found a series of progressively larger molted exoskeletons...
Over three feet is not normal for an average earwig is it?
Well, at least whatever is going on seems to have put a hold on the gecko infestation... The insidious quacking was maddening.
So anyway thanks again for the now rather large earwig DAZ!
Well, I gotta go... It sounds like the refrigerator has fallen over again...

I got mine a couple of days ago. Ipswich in Queensland Australia by the way. Mine got delivered to my neighbour. Nice of them to hold it for me.
Hand was broken but not complaining. It's an excellent figure and a great gift. Nice to know all that spending is appreciated. Feel free to show that kind of appreciation anytime DAZ. lol. Thank you again DAZ.

Figure turned out to be bigger than I thought. When I saw the youtube clip it seemed to me to be only as big as a Star Wars action figure, but it is easily twice the size ( I've got 30+years of action figures to compare it to)

Mine is still sitting on the dining room table, because I can't get enough of admiring it, even with the broken hand. Getting glue tomorrow.
The pop-up I got to inform me I got the figure mentioned something about a particular glue to use if it was broken. It had something to do with what it was made of. Does anybody remember, or if it really matters.

Reading through posts, It seems there's an issue with packaging. Mine came first class mail, which I'm assuming was paid for by DAZ. But the problem seemed to be the packaging itself. I hope they're looking into fixing this once people start buying the figures.

Yeey, she arrived yesterday, in one piece, big thank you DAZ! Very nice figure and makes my curious to the possibility to make you're own version (custom print service).

She had some delay, because the zipcode was missing on the box (despite it is in my adressbook details..). The dutch postoffice added it themself, with a message why there was a delay :-)

BTW- for best results when using superglue on these types of plastics, it might not be a bad idea to gently wipe the broken surface (the spot that you will place the glue in) with rubbing alcohol, to remove any impurities, body oils from handling or other stuff that may effect the bond. Test fit the mating surfaces to be sure of alignment and use a small amount of glue. Keep the parts pressed together for at least 40-60 seconds for best results... Most likely the bottle will say that, but it's true and ensures a better bond. Also, if the tube or bottle of superglue has been open for longer than a month, get a new one. It may still look good, but unless you buy bottles over one once in size, it usually doesn't keep it's bonding characteristics too long once exposed to air... Less so the more humidity you have.
If you are a resident of the U.S., many hobby stores and some Michaels craft stores sell a brand called "Zap" from Pacer Technologies... I recommend "Zap-A-Gap" in the green label bottle... Usually the smallest size available is 1/2 ounce. I ordinarily buy two or three ounce bottles and use them up, so I trust the stuff.

    Sorry, I'm a bit opposite.

I never asked for this item and despite being notified about it a month ago, I could not find an option to turn it down, as I do not want physical items from DAZ.

Alas, a letter arrived today asking me to pay a toll fee of around 30$ for a figure I never ordered. I rejected it, so I hope, when it returns to DAZ they can direct it to someone else here on this forum, who would like to have it.
