Urgh.. just now getting home. Went out last night for the first time in ages to visit a friend from work and his wife, geez, we got roaring drunk and watched bad horror movies all night.. it was a blast! :cheese:

Crashed in the spare room, got a ride home.. omg.. might be nap time now.. :red:

DIM running, new music files copying off the phones SD card.. yeah.. nappie time! :)

I hope everyone is having a good weekend, it's going to break 60F today AND tomorrow so I'll be at the bar, on the patio, all weekend.. except for when I'm home, composing, or at the Mexican place stuffing down enchiladas!

It's 35F with light rain...on top of snow...and slush...and it is expected to turn back to snow by sunset and continue unit midnight or 1:00 am. No patio for us.

When I woke up this morning it was raining and cold and cloudy. I expected it to be that way all day. After work which the last hour was doing dishes I noticed there was barely a cloud in the sky. Now I have my umbrella with me on a sunny afternoon.

...spring has arrived early here. Already 61° in the 'local 'hood, 65° on the west side of town.

Time to stop hibernating for a few days.

Have not left the food court yet so do not know if it is cold or warm outside. Is it still January?

Wireless USB adapter is acting up. Maybe it is overheating or very buggy? I had to pull the adapter out of the USB slot and plug it back in.

...sounds like my complaints this morning, save for not having dinner (and maybe I shouldn't have as well as I hard hart\ time sleeping because of it).

Good you chose Village Inn. We have a couple of them here too. Been staying way from fast food joints like MickyD's myself for a number of reasons .

Yeah, dense fog for this morning (was really foggy last night) which is just barely beginning to burn off. Won't even make 60° for today but tomorrow should still be sunny and in the mid 60s.

Felt real good to sit in the sun in shirtsleeves yesterday, quaff a couple pints of well crafted beer out on the loading dock at the neghbourhood brewery with friends. Should have worn a Hawai'ian shirt, may do so tomorrow if the forecast holds.

    Non complaints:

--Sun beginning to poke through the foggy shroud
--Wisconsin outlasted a tenacious Michigan in overtime last night to win 69 - 64.
--Blazers came back from 14 points down to win by 7.
--Had really good, smoky almost chocolatey tasting Imperil Porter last night - 8.5%! :ohh:
--Craft brews are so much more worth it, even at the higher price, than industrial swill
--A Cider Bar run by a local Craft Cider maker will be opening down in the Hawthorne district where I shop. Hand made hard cider rocks.

...definitely stay inside and get out all the blankets you have.

Is there a Subway nearby? The one by me does a 2 footlong deal for 10$ on Sundays. Get a big bag of crisps and stock up on whatever drinkables you like. If you have an ice chest get some ice to keep things cold. For the week my fridge was out a couple years ago, that's what I did. Fortunately it was cold outside so I kept the chest in the entryway stairwell.

At least it hasn't been like last year where it was one snowstorm after another...after another...after another....
