Is it my imagination or has the price of products here increased alot? I know there is a sale price plus extra discounts right now but it just seems the base price of everything even older products has increased, which of course has made me take extra time to decide if I really need a product or not, which I don't so as a result I have spent very little here in the last few months. Doesnt help that the store overhaul didn't go quite as planned either

Well, if you filter by highest priced items first, they are all Gen 8/ recent stuff.
Tp clarify: I was filtering for PC+ items only.

The tiers used for PC items are the same as they were, and still used in the same way.
dForce items tend to use the higher tiers, and there weren't many of them in the PC before G8, so yes, most of the more expensive PC items are for G8. But if you look at other types of items the tiers used are coherent with what was used before.

and you will have to prove it to me that $1.99 new release PC+ is the same as $3.49 or even higher...$4.99, 5.99 , 6.99, 7.99
I have the same feeling about things here getting more expensive. I thought about getting the 30% off gift-card offer today, to get a $100 gift-card for $70, but as I had everything required in cart, I realized, that it's pointless as only expensive stuff I don't really need, eat up almost the whole discount, because the PC+ new releases I want, don't count in.
I don't think they have changed the basic prices (that much). I think, the difference to earlier is, that it's just getting harder to find good deal combinations. For example: I was able to get 80%-85% off in some PA Flash Sales last year. This year's best Flash Sale Deals were around 72% off and not combinable with anything else.
However, this isn't a bad thing as it's easier to save money on less attractive deals. Otherwise I'd probably spent the double amount of money.
If I take this year and last year as reference, I'd advice you to put the whole year a little money on the side for October and first half of November as we had the greatest deals there and leave Daz alone for the rest of the year. That way you also need only a 2 month PC+ membership. I don't know what Daz has planned for future, but if I see the same strategy next year, too. I'll probably do so.
Didn't we go through all these "discussions" back when the PC had it first ever upgrade, which was back in 2014. The PC had been the same since it's inception from Oct 2002 until 2014. then a different pricing format came into use, with the benefit of providing members with some bigger, more involved, products at higher prices, but still provinding most products at the new, increased but still low, price of $2.99. Would you like a link to the thread which started it all? It is still available.
Not sure if this is the thread to mention this or if it has already been mentioned, but just spotted a weird glitch under the Historical Top Sellers sale listing Herschell Hoffmeyer's original Tyrannosaurus rex which has long since been pulled from the store - the link directs to the "Oops" page. It disappeared when I logged in (guessing since I already own the product).
I mean, I know Daz3d has been pretty glitchy as of late, but to the point of raising products from the dead?
It looks like that whole selection changed. Also lots of swirlies for the new items, too. Something's up...

I didn't mean the PC+ prices those are still as was since the PC upgrade, I was refering to and guess I should have specified the PA products and simply wanted to know if prices were higher and I just hadn't noticed a slow increase or if they were always, but it does seem the newer G8 items have a higher price point than previously.

I think it's a bundle for tomorrow that is somehow trying to load prematurely on today's holiday sale page. (Sorry I have no clue how to set up web pages, so can't explain well.) Seeing swirlies for Orla bundle & Other Debut New Releases.
As if we don't have enough cutesy, pointy-earred, female-presenting characters in the store. Why it was just yesterday we got TWO more.
And, it looks like the sales page is back to normal. No more swirlies (at least for me).
