7:45am order, the email confirmation just came in at 10:33am so yep, about 3 hours behind. Well, at least that's better than a day or two. But it WAS working fine for me so still a step backward.
I have been unable to download anything from DIM all day. It doesn't show a single product as available. I guess it's a known issue but kind of annoying when you spend $60 on products and can't download them.
I haven't gotten an order confirmation since the change over. The store started adding a sales tax to my purchases at the same time, which never happened before. I haven't put in a ticket yet because I'm having trouble understanding how. But I'll try.
Ticket submitted.
Placed an order last night (12/-6) around 7:31 PM and still don't have the email confirmation. Twenty-three hours and counting.
My DIM Ready To Download has disappeared- AGAIN. It was gone, then back, now gone. Right before that, I got the popup message as I was using DIM the servers were busy, too many connections.
And I just got the message again about exceeding the limit, too many connections for the server.
I keep getting logged out. Whenever I click on a product in my library, bam, I am logged out.
and now every attempt to view a product yields: The server experienced an error: 7388428680384065704 The server experienced an error: 6263450610539110790 The server experienced an error: 7273596521315663110 The server experienced an error: 6842348953158377901 The server experienced an error: 1996593920843342897 etcThe DIM issue is very frustrating. I havent been able to download a thing and I keep signing back in to see if it is working yet. Do we know what is causing this?
I've been searching the store for hours now, trying to find the winter lodge/cabin/resort scene whatever it was called. I tried filtering by artist: was it firstbasion, predatron, stonemason, jack, andrey, peanterra...? Nothing, but I know it's there because I know I have it.
Tried searching the store for cabin, resort, winter, snow, winter cabin, winter resort, lodge. Nope. I remember it has a deck. Tried that, No. Get this: winter lodge brings up "Compact Cyberpunk Apartment" right in my face, and when I go back it shoves it in my face again! That's not a winter lodge!!
I opened an incognito window in Chrome, searched for lodge, and there it is...Mountain Lodge by Faveral.
I'm still not able to add my creditcard back to my account. Making me not able to use platinum club. Anyone else have this? Or a fix?
Since it's with your account, you probably need to open a ticket, probably Sales Support, unfortunately.
DIM still says server error and can't handle the number of connections, which is ridiculous as I've tried it all hours of the day and night. Most of the United States is IN BED at midnight, 1am, 2am, 3am, 4am, 5am so I'm not really understanding what that error is actually saying. If it's saying too many people using DIM, and the server can't handle mostly across the pond traffic and a limited percentage of United States, this is frustrating. Even if people in the United States were awake, which they're not, many aren't using DIM at any given time. So what exactly is the server error, and what are you DOING about it?
I couldn't find anything about it, but I can't put anything directly on the wishlist from the store, because I always get the message that I have to login even though I'm logged in!
But if I put the product into the shopping cart and move it from there to the wishlist, it works without any problems!
Same problem here, when I add CC through My Account->Payment methods doesn't save. However, it adds to a Address with Alabama as a province. I'm outside the US, and in the form correctly remove US states when you select nonUS country but apparently remember Alabama (first in combo box). Workaround: Go to cart payment and put CC details. It works, and in the same time remember the card (probably you must correct first Account->Address to non-Alabama and delete excess created with yours unsuccessful attempts ).
Beside that other quirks are:
not logged - show loge icon, and vice versa
can't add an item directly to wish list (workaround put in the cart first and then move to wishlist)
Same here. You're not alone :(
Weeks later I still can't download Honni 8's .sep file, Zweihänders's files still give me a "Auth invalid" message and templates for the Outer Marker also are still giving me the same "Auth invalid" nonsense.
Come on DAZ, if this were a brick and mortar store and there were so many complaints and technical issues, the store would probably be out of business by now or atleast management would all be fired and replaced. Luckily it's not, but I've never shopped on a site that's had so many continual problems before and that's a big issue. The sad thing is that the consistency of this site is the amount of problems present, I definitely shouldn't think "what's not going to work today" when I visit here.
Do you have screen shots or a video of this that i can pass on to Daz?
I reported this the DAZ support and I cannot say that the responses have been very encouraging. I described the problem in detail and it seems that the problem is similar to another where changing my address was not possible either. Support was able to input my address details but didn't get anywhere with the card (I was trying to add a second card). The symptoms for me were that I would enter all the details correctly and click "Submit" but nothing would happen. Nothing added, nothing changed, nothing at all.
I filed a technical support issue ticket and they responded wtihin two hours! My DIM is fixed, although I am still sporadically getting that popup. Logging out and in fixes it. Who else is having the totally blank Ready To Download column?
AFAIR it's the error you normally get if you try to log in to the same account with 2 different instances of DIM (e.g. on 2 different PCs). Maybe DIM is sending regular Keep Connection Alive requests to the server (which is normal), but these are being interpreted by the server as coming from different instances of DIM, for some reason, or something like that.
I haven't had any problems adding things to my cart, wish list or downloading from DIM.
nor have I recently but that is no help to those who still are
And I thought long and hard before posting it. I came to the conclusion that, with all the negativeity and DAZ bashing, someone should post that it isn't world wide and doesn't affect everyone so there is light at the end of the tunnel
I'm not really sure complaining about not getting things you purchase is either bashing or negative, personally I think people are being very tolerant and patient under the circumstances. And from what has been said the fact that its not universal doesn't mean theres light at the end of the tunnel quite the opposites it makes it harder to isolate the problem and fix it.
Don’t post often, but read many forum posts. Been using DS off and on since pre-version 1 beta. With over 10,000 products installed, I spend more time fixing metadata, missing icons, etc., that the PA’s or Daz QA should have caught. There is a lot I don’t know about the inner workings of DS, but finally got caught up on RL enough to jump in when this update began. Seen many updates to the site and forums over the years and expected that things would eventually get resolved. This last month have had the credit card issues, couldn’t buy anything for 2 weeks, failed downloads in DIM, but persisted and finally got the files.
However, this has happened 4 times today.
I tried to log in with DIM to check for any product updates. DIM immediately failed to connect. “Unable to login to specified account. Verify the email and/or password and try again.” When I opened my browser to check the “Store Problems” thread, I got the following error from the DAZ website.
Your connection is not secure
The owner of www.daz3d.com has configured their website improperly. To protect your information from being stolen, Waterfox has not connected to this website.
This site uses HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) to specify that Waterfox may only connect to it securely. As a result, it is not possible to add an exception for this certificate.
www.daz3d.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is only valid for the following names: dock.shp.mcafee.com, *.dock.shp.mcafee.com Error code: SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN
If I closed my browser, waited about 5 minutes, I could access the website, normally.
Although Waterfox is my browser of choice, I also tried Firefox and got the McAfee “SHP Redirector” for blocking access to the Daz Website.
Tech support issue ticket filed.
Issue still exists today.
By the way, I have no Mcafe products installed on my computer, so this is not a local problem.
I'm sure this has been mentioned before, but it doesn't appear in the first post. Is the current forum setup supposed to skip to a new page when we click the "Quote" button? It's an annoyance — sometimes I want to scroll up to check something in another post, but now I can't.
No that is new.
