I already had two of the items and the banner was for 75% off the bundle. Is today's banner the same?
Yeah, it looks to be the same as yesterdays. Check your messages and see if it's in there. I also didn't have the banner but I check my Exclusive Offers and it was there.

Hm, that might help a bit on it. I'll check something. None of the tutorials I saw was messing with the weight maps with dformer, they were aiming to kill the poke throughs etc...

No, your math is wrong. 60% off with an additional 10% off is not 70%. It's 60% off, then 10% off the remainder. 64% off overall is correct.
I agree, they should have a countdown clock on the banner so you know when it ends. When they say 4 hours that should mean 4 HOURS!! Some seem to last 2 hours and some seem to last for the day
It was four hours. I recieved a Daz-Deals notification email for the first flash sale at 12:42, and an email for the current one at 16:35. That's four hours if you allow time for the extension to pick up on the sale, process it, and get everything sent out, which I assume can be delayed depending on server load, etc.
The current sale will presumably last until either 20:30 or thereabouts, or the end of the day depending on whether this is one of those "we said four hours but the business day is over and we can't be bothered so this one lasts for eight" sales, as happens frequently (and to particular disdain during the PA sale).
It sounds like someone posted about a new flash sale right as it rolled over for them, but before the site change had propagated to other people, meaning some were still seeing the old banner and thinking that was the current batch of PAs. I'm not saying that's how it should be, because it's not. It's absolutely infuriating and the DAZ storefront is particularly bad at getting things to sync up and show the proper information, at the proper time, for everyone. But that's how it is, and why some sales seem to last a very short period of time. They technically start at the correct time but not everyone has access to them right from the get-go. Shoot, look at how the daily sale page functions, sometimes it's working within an hour and other times it's nearly three hours later and everything is still a mess or even not showing. We regularly miss big chunks of flash sales because the site isn't showing artists correctly, handling discounts correctly, etc.
I agree that they really need to officially post start and end times for the sales, and send official sale emails. I also don't think they ever will, sadly, because they benefit from impulse shopping and want to retain people on the website for as long as possible, i.e. they'd rather we devote ourselves to interacting with the site, checking for new sales, than just tell us about them.
EDIT: Basically, it was live on their end of things and whether or not we had access to it doesn't matter. If you have Ati's extension, I would recommend seeing if you can load the sale page through the notification email since sometimes you're able to get to it that way, before banners and what have you start showing up on the storefront. Obviously that's a workaround and not an actual solution, though.

Yes, I believe it's a banner for an extra percentage off the bundle if you had already bought any of the previously released products (the base or the rotations add-on) prior to yesterday.
I'm definitely not arguing that, it's ridiculous how delayed the propagation can be (though sometimes the sale page can be accessed through the link in the email before the banner hits the storefront). The problem is that the notification gets sent when the sale is live in Dazlandia, and whether or not we as customers can access it is another chapter in another story in another book that DAZ doesn't seem much interested in opening. Technically, the sale did last for four hours, as promised. Whether we're able to take advantage of it doesn't seem to matter, because it was active on the company's side of things (which is historically what seems to end up counting). That said, I had access to it for at least an hour and a half, and probably significantly longer than that. I'm aware of the hour and a half that I had, because that's the part of it that I was awake for.
I fully support the cart dump, sales need to be active on our side of the website at the same time they go live on the other end of things and if the company doesn't feel like telling us when sales are going to end, the losses are theirs (other storefronts seem to manage it just fine, after all). And, regrettably, the involved PAs. I have to imagine that it's pretty maddening when you let your products get put into a flash sale, expecting to make money through volume, and then things are broken for a portion of it and people end up buying nothing from you.
I'm just not sure things will ever change, unless the new store software can undo more tangles than it creates. Fingers crossed.

I'm guessing this is one of the "it's after banking hours and we can't be bothered" ones. Kinda like that last "$5 for 50" flash sale we had during the PA festival, that was supposed to last 50 minutes and ended up going for eight hours or something like that.
They could have at least done final flash sale with all of the PAs that participated in the two, like they did last week I think it was, so that people who missed out on the first one (especially due to storefront issues) could have a chance to catch up.
Product page 'Outdoor Lounge Area' currently in PFAD states there are 3dl materials, there are not. Specifically bought this product to make use of glass shaders allegedly supplied, returning for refund.
On today's page we have 'Pharaoh's Ruin, an add-on set for the Hypostyle Hallway'. But there doesn't appear to be a hypostyle hallway.
Damn, I seriously have to cut back on spendings. Own all of todays 99 "PC+ for the day"-items but 4 it seems. Or DAZ needs to invent a new promo format like "Make X products you choose PC for the Day" ;-)
