Can't say I blame you - Lanna's promos spell it "Lana"
As you are buying today, don't forget the 'Bonus Madness' item, which today is https://www.daz3d.com/cb-giulia-hd-for-genesis-8-female. I had almost got to purchase when I remembered and checked it out and was blown away. CynderBlue did a beautiful piece of work on her.
Another Amazon...I'd love to see more "average" height representation. I think there's like only one character who is 5'6" and it's a teen character if I remember right. Yes, I can change height myself easy enough, but why are Daz women always so friggen giant? Like 90% of the pose packs that come out have the female dwarfing the male and need massive tweaking to work with "average" heights.
So Lanna doesn't require Josephine? She seems to be an alternative but it's not labelled or linked as such.
For me Lanna looks ok but not realistic. More towards Aiko style.
Scarlett on the other hand looks great.
I also love the promo where they present her with different character morphs.
I wish more PAs would do that.
Agreed. Beautifully made character.
My first thought when seeing Josephine was that she seems inspired by Cobie Smulders's Dex Parios character in Stumptown.
The flight suit looks like the same mesh as Jonathan flight suit.
This is also a huge pet peeve of mine.

I can't say that the base figure does much for me, but that may be because the promo renders are so overly contrasty and generally unappealing. When did DAZ forget how to make an attractive promo shot?
Beyyond that, though, looks like a great bundle with some great PA characters and not a single bit of skimp wear. Toss in the fact that the extra items selection was much better than usual and this is a winner for me.
That's the first thing I noticed too. Long faces are quite common but not in the DAZ Store.
*giggle* i'm guessing had to rename it at some point, because there's already another lana for g8 in the store.
As for tall.... there's weird/confusing rules about saving characters with height differences, apparently, so it makes it kinda annoying...its just easier to save everything at default height... heh
Very like a toned down, softer, less muscled, richer coloured version of 'CB Blue' https://www.daz3d.com/cb-blue-hd-for-genesis-8-female . There's a definite 'family' resemblance. Very nice job. CB Blue was an instant buy. This, well, I've spent to my limit this month. Maybe next month.
Regards,
Richard
Lana/Lanna says not to panic, wash your hands, and don't hoard stuff that your neighbors need!
(sorry for grainy render, old comp and no patience, heh)
PS... Lana doesn't use any Josephine morph. I really have no idea why she's in the bundle or why Daz keeps including non-related figures randomly in bundles. I don't know if its mistakes or what.. but if you don't have Josephine, YES Lanna works and you don't need Josephine
man i wish we are not on that crisis, because it's really affected hard here in my country and the Dolar sky rock for now making impossible buy anything from daz until that corona issue pass or the market crazy stuff fall, as others peoples what really pumped me up to buy this bundle was
https://www.daz3d.com/scarlett-for-josephene-8
without any doubt she is really wonderfull and also most of the outfits really does looks cool and i like to have then, but for now i really can't my credit card is stored in my "safe" for my own monetary safety i really wish things "are normal" and the dolar was like the past then i would had bought really a lot of stuffs but for now is really impossible.
Actually, I'll be honest, looking at the Spy Pistols, the whole product feels a bit half-complete.
I'd love someone who has them to correct me on this (there aren't enough compact pistol models), but from the description, they don't seem to have movable slides - I'd just about tolerate that on a pistol that was thrown into a clothing set (although I'd likely not end up using it very often), but as a separate product, not having a complete set of moving parts really isn't on. (I was REALLY annoyed recently to have found I've bought a product that does that, and unfortunately, I put it in my library to use later and only found that out after the returns period was over).
She would make for an excellent background character or extra. Just tuck her away in the back somewhere with the DOF set real low.
Oh wow, good find. She looks pretty decent. Looks like a younger version of Lilith 7. Looks like the guy managed to fix Josephine's face.
The side of the nose; bridge ridge proportion, looks off though, but that can be fixed fast. Examples of proper nose from the side: https://duckduckgo.com/?q=face+side+supermodel
I think I'm going to ask for a refund for this and buy one of the other hand gun products, probably this one: https://www.daz3d.com/modern-handguns the models looks good and it includes hand poses for each one unlike this.
@melissastjames Actually there are quite a few shorter ladies. Robyn , Mrs. Chow, Bridget, Gabriella, Stephani, and Edie, are 5'6" and below. And some more are around 5'7 and 5'8"
Am I the only one who thinks the Paulyn Tied Bun Hair has a very unattractive receding hairline for a female? The main image is way off putting. There is no listing for forehead/hairline adjustment.
Can someone please do a render of her with different shapes (Victoria 8 etc). I'm interested in purchasing, but I just wanna she what she looks like with different shapes first.
Still holding of, in case some flash sale gets activated, but otherwise, this seems to be the smallest pro-bundle-with-extras shoppingcart for the past few years.
I agree that the face of Josephene 8 is a bit too long and the crease at the bottom of the nose is a bit too much. I almost didn't purchase the Josephene 8 Pro Bundle until I saw Scarlett for Josephene 8 (https://www.daz3d.com/scarlett-for-josephene-8) which is a very attractive character preset for Josephene 8, and sold me on the pro bundle.
That is an issue. There's a "Feminized" option, but nothing to say or show what it does, but that doesn't seem to affect the hairline if it's been applied. In the clay shaded model it doesn't seem to be as pronounced, but the rounded widow's peak is still there.
If anyone has played with this, please report. /beg
^ Same, Drip! That has been my MM strategy too -- wait until the evening (my time) before making any purchases in case there are any flash sale banners etc, although today it's maybe less likely since they'll really be pushing Josephene as the main agenda.
I like her more than most; not sure what I'll get her with, but I will.
I worked on 3 quick renderes and snips to show the hairline, 2 of them with other hairs added to help the hairline.
I agree the hairline is different. The Feminization loads at 80% and leaves a weird patch. I moved it to 100% and there was a deep widow's peak. Moved it down and that disappeared mostly, but, the hair thinned out and it reminded me of someone who's hair has thinned with age. So I tried to add first SP Hair 010 and then Allen Hair which has a similar hairline and would blend somewhat with the back. I used ColorWerks Hair Shaders for Iray, Special 033 to color them to match.
I am pretty sure others are more skilled than I am and can do a better job.
