Yup, that's OOT's forehead hair (why?) turning into black spots, but I'm CPU only for awhile; so, I won't bother with it.

It's because of how the program handles the transparent surfaces and the layering of them (or something along those lines). The easiest way to fix it is either to hide the scalp completely, or use sliders to scale it to be slightly bigger.

    Xyer0,

I think you did an outstanding job of getting close to the model. I looked her up and wow, she must have been the inspiration for Josephene 8 or should have been.

Thanks, @Luciel, I meant "Why have hair coming down on the forehead with no way to hide it other than Photoshopping the map?" I could've gotten rid of it if it had shown up earlier in the render (or in the 7 tests I did before the last render), but I just bit the bullet.

Thank you, Ms. Mary @memcneil70, for your kindness. I don't see why anyone would call such an amazing-looking creature ugly. But I've always been weird.

  • So, is there really no other way to get her material icons to show except via an update from the install manager? frown

@usahawansufi6c2 I'm not sure what you mean, but try clicking on the Content Library tab; when it opens, click Products on the left [fourth in the row starting with DAZ Studio Formats].

To the right you should now see an alpha-numerical list. Click on "J," wait for the computer to access the hard drive, and to the right of the alphabets you will see a list of products that begin with J.

Scroll down to where Josephene 8 is alphabetically, and click on her. To the right of this you should see her icons, and H. Materials All Maps MDL (Iray) or RSL (3Delight) can be found after the eyebrow colours near the top of that list.

Which part you didn't understand? I clearly said the Josephene 3Delight and Iray icons are not displaying for me and I can't get the download manager to get them to show up.
