    Following on from the issues pointed out by mercblue22 ion a recent post, Delivery Driver for Genesis has been updated to version 1.2, and is a necessary download for Studio 4.5 since the original doesn't work. The Delivery Driver Extension is now at version 1.1, which was new to me.

    I found that listed Carhop for Genesis Female (1.0) is 1.2 in my downloaded files;
    listed Satsuki for Genesis (1.1) (DSON) re-downloaded 5 minutes ago is still 1.0;
    NGM for Genesis Female is not listed;
    Xiao Wen for V5 is not listed;
    Asian Faces are not listed.

    Does anyone know if the PC items are going to be converted to DSON? I purchased a few back in October hoping they would be converted soon, like the Carhop, Casual 50's items etc. Did I waste my money?

    Do you have the version numbers for the ones you mentioned that aren't on the list?

    Asian Faces: 15456_1.0
    Those were the numbers when I downloaded them 12th of December last year

    I have these versions:
    NGM for Genesis Female - 1.0 (DSON);
    Xiao Wen for V5 - 1.0 (DSON);
    Asian Faces - 1.0 (DSON).
    The products are relatively fresh, not sure if it was updated or not.

    The following product installer versions are different from the updated list.

    This was as of January 14 when I happened to last download them. I have no idea what changes were made to these installers, or if additional updates have been made since that date.

    - Sexy Silky For Genesis - 1.3
    - Chelsea Hair - 1.5
    - Gabi for V5 - 1.4
    - Tori for V5 - 1.3

    I downloaded Pure Hair Classic 1.3 in October. The list still shows 1.2.

    Dragon Queen for Genesis has been updated to 1.1 to address bug report https://bugs.daz3d.com/view.php?id=48966 (The material files cannot find the texture files.) I haven't tested it yet to see if the bug is fixed.

    No, it's updated again if these version numbers are correct. I reset the Pro bundle when it was updated for PoserCF .... and now I have to reset the whole bundle again! :ohh: >:(

    The good thing is... I didn't unpack it yet. :P

    Looks like the M5 Pro Suite/Bundle is updated too. Gens are 1.3, several clothing items rev'd to 1.5, etc.

    Did Daz update some of those and didn't change the version number again?

    Troll for Genesis is at 1.6 on the list and I upped it to 1.6 last year.

    got updated to those numbers last year too, but Daz didn't change the update numbers for those two. items. So dd they update them again.

    Gens were updated to 1.3 last year too.

    Quick edit: I had Micheal's Gens listed twice on the list I just noticed one listing had the old name & version number for them, the other which has the correct new name gives them at 1.3.


    I did notice that the list has an older version of DragonLord so I need to update that.on the main.

    WiFi keeps cutting out at my location due to bad weather. So I don't know if I'll be able to check and finish all the list updates done today

    I looked over all the versions numbers you posted these are the only ones I need to update or add to the list it looks like unless DAZ updated any of the others you gave and didn't change the version number.

    Skorpio Shoes for Genesis (SKU# 15505) was updated to 1.2

    This update corrects an issue with the old installer not installing the necessary shader support files to shoes materials.

    The Genesis Male Geo-Grafted Genitalia (1.3) (DSON) is the current version and was put on the list last year.

    Moved all the items starting with "S" on page 1 of the main list to page 2, to deal with posting limit being reached on page 1.

    Only the Underwear & General Poses that are part of the Michael 5 product got updated. The "base" figure is still at 1.1.

    Zac Hair in the M5 Pro Bundle is showing up with 1.3 & 1.4 installers. I contacted support about that to find out if the 1.3 versions need to be updated in the bundle or if DAZ only updated some of the installers to 1.4.

    Andrei for Freak 5 SKU #15652 was updated to 1.1
    Derek for Freak 5 SKU #15707 was updated to 1.1

    and

    Barbarian Boots for Genesis SKU#15538 continues wit version 1.0, but the previous CF installer was faulty and now it is corrected.
    Colonel Chaos SKU#15645 also was updated, but DAZ do not change the version number. Download it again anyway, because the new installer was corrected (Previous installer had a missing file).

    ...they really need to figure out how to deal with this from the application end.

    It is a nightmare as it requires a lot of resetting redownloading and reinstalling to fix on the users’ part. In past versions of the Studio app this was never an issue as newer updates could still read the older files. We are not IT specialists and should not be required to be such as we are he ones paying our hard earned money to those who are supposed to be better skilled in the ability to make sure these things work before they reach the consumer.

    Will somebody please tell us plebs just what exactly is going on?

    I have waded thru this thread and the only conclusion I can come to is that there has been a ginormous cock-up!

    Are we to take it that we have to re-install EVERYTHING relating to Genesis?

    fruitwort DAZhas been working on an auto-updater for content, but I have no idea how long it will be before that gets release.

    I haven't been installing any of the new Genesis stuff I've picked up recently since DAZ keeps releasing new versions.

    One related update notes, still haven't heard back from support about Zac Hair having two different version numbers of files and about True Love downloading one wrong file.

    Neither did I. I really don't like it to have to reset everthing all the time, especially when only one or two items in a bundle get updated because you have to reset the whole bundle! With the expectation in the next couple of days there will be another item updated!. >:(

    What's this about an "auto updater" ? I didn't hear about it and I don't know if I would be so happy with something like that. Well, I better wait until I know exactly what it means before getting worried about it ;-)

    I downloaded and installed 15361_RealFeelPulloverGenesis_1.1_trx.exe. Did you buy it in a bundle? They probably forgot to update the bundles again. If so, send a support ticket.

    Thanks barbult.

    They forgot to update the Young Teens 5 Pro Bundle (sku: 15518). I reset the bundle and just filled a support ticket asking DAZ to update Real Feel Pullover Genesis in it.

    I did hear back from support about the Zac Hair product. Only the DSON Core is at 1.4. All the other files are 1.3 according to support.

    Still waiting for support to fix True Love.

    DAZ just fixed the Mac Legacy link that was downloading the wrong file in True Love (sku: 15237) so all the download links are now working correctly.

    The auto-updater if I'm not mistaken has become the new install Manager program. Haven't tried it out, but I know DAZ is aware of the problem of not knowing when updates are out and uninstall issues, cause a a little over a year ago when I was at the Comic Con in New Orleans I got told that they were working on away to fix that and it would be done via using a program at some point that would update content.
