Ati's plugin wishlist notifications won't email you if there's a coupon you could use on an item, only if it's actually on sale...

..actually the PC-One-30-Fun coupon code worked. Got a 3 month for 16.80$ That will get me through MM into May..If some big discount for the annual happens after tomorrow, I'll just add it on.

Yeah, this all starts to feel like one big non stop party of the same old same old. I found this week of MM to be particularly uninspiring. The structure of these sales have a certain rote samness, as an inticement to jump off into the back catelogue. I don't know about you but I've pretty much picked the back catalogue clean for my needs. I mean how many bathrooms, living rooms, space ship interiors etc does one boy need?

yeah. I'm feeling baked and cooked. its getting old going over the same products a million times. the new stuff this week overall didn't grab me at all.
I'm finding I need more house furniture interiors if they are different enough from one another without them I'm stuck creating the renders in the same scenes with the same furniture; but I've probably not spent near as much as you guys. It's much tougher if you want a special style and aren't satisfied with furniture is just furniture, who cares about the style or that it all looks Victorian or Ikea. There does come a point to where you do have enough and just buy because you like the technical skill or aestetic qualities of the product though.
@nonesuch00 I don't know it this will help you but I use a lot of furniture from my poser stuff I've collected over time. It's amazing when you use different shaders and teak textures how good the stuff looks in Iray.
As far as MM I can't seem to find things I'd actually use or don't already have but a few items.
I forget about even having Poser modeled products from Poser itself but I pick through me DAZ purchases for DS pretty thoroughly and found it sort of lacking. Thanks!

i skipped the last two, might get todays just so to buy a new item in 3 days. It would be good for some diversity.
There's definitely been a "Same Old Stuff" feel to most of the offers... the hair off this week was especially bad, as I owned all but 1 of the 129 G3 items offered, all but 4 of the 130 G2 items and all but 29 of the 129 V4/M4s, and every single one was an item that has been on sale for a lot less in the last few months that I've still passed on multiple times, because I can't see any point in buying 3Dl/Poser texture sets, hairs that I already have fitted to a different base, and especially not Poser and Carrara dynamic hair.
Beyond that, though,even though I own a ludicrous amount of content, I do intermittently find items that I'll buy if the stacking discounts work out right. 50% off on older items isn't really a discount in this store, it's every other Wednesday. At 60-+% on a PA product or 70% off on DOs, though, I'm more inclined to buy something simply for kitbashing purposes. And, frankly, there are some items that I've wanted in the past but not bought simply because I thought they were overpriced compared to similar products.. but at 80% off I'll give them another look..
Same here. It's amazing how sometimes something that looked so-so in 3DL suddenly looks amazing in Iray after being hit with the right converter settings. That's even true of old billboard props.
I've lost track of how many sets I've bought just to get their fixtures. props and furniture. Given how often "room" sets turn out to to be just a two or three sided box with a single window and no doors, it's extremely rare for me to be able to use a commercially made set "as is", so I usually end up kitbashing the structure anyway. But being able to load another set, copy all the furnishings down in a single subset and then pasting that subest into the new set before moving things around is a tremedous time saver, especially when things like tables and chairs and small props are already parented in groups.
Probably. I get the impression that DAZ has a digital closet somewhere filled with PA stuff they've bought out to make into DOs, and it seems like those are overwhelmingly female.

..the funny thing I wasn't. My membership expired on the 20th I just tried it to see if it would work and it did as 10% wouldn't have made much of a difference. The 50% code requires purchasing three items. .

thats where you put the PC+ purchase, and two as low as possible item. anyting you might use. I usually save a couple $2.09 PC+ items for things requiring a new release. can't remember if the last coupon blocked PC+ items, but if not, they would only be $1.05 each ... so $37.10 for the annual PC+ .. but now that oyu are member, I would watch close for the next crazy discount and grab it. It is sure to happen during the MM sale. Save some cash just for that
You can usually find free items among the eligible Mad Artist Stores. Be sure to NOT hide items you own, because you can add them to the cart again. Add 2 free items and 1 membership.
...unfortunately since my membership had lapsed, I was getting no other discounts save for the flat 40% on New Releases (the least expensive of which were about 9$ and up) and whatever was in the PA stores that are on sale. All PC+ items on my wishlist had reverted to full price (even the old 1.99$ ones) so that wouldn't have worked. Even if I could find something priced that low, it most likely would be something very old or that I wouldn't ever use so I wouldn't really be any further ahead than just taking the straight 30% discount for the Single item. The 2.20$ price on hair content is contingent on also purchasing a new or nearly new release, the price of which was more than the extra 10% discount I would get for the extra item.
The PC+ discounts only show up after purchasing a membership so any other items I would have in the cart at the time would have still been a higher price.
I think that what alex was suggesting is that after buying the 3 months membership you were a member again, so you could have used the coupons intended for PC members to extend your membership at a discount.
...I'll wait. I'm good for three months which will cover the rest of MM.
Maybe I'll luck into one of those super discounts again like some received several weeks ago where I can get an annual for 75 - 80% off (I once got an annual for 12.50$).
Too late now anyway, those offers just went bye-bye a few minutes ago.

A number of the PA Stores seem to have gone AWOL as well. I'll click on a link and get an empty page. Not sure what is going on as it is only a little after 19:00 Daz time (18:00 here on the left coast)
It's something to do with the Hide PC+ filter. At least, clicking that makes all the missing items reappear for me.
...that's odd. none of those are PC+ items. Didn't have that issue until after 18:00 local time (west coast).
The annoying thing is you need to do it on every store and even on the same store if you close it and go back later. Something's seriously broken and needs to get fixed.
