...looks like you were on the right track back then. In my opinion think she looks better than what I see done in Daz 4.6. I'm still working with all this SSS stuff to just get a more natural looking skin. Never picked up on any of the "elite" HSS shaders for Gen4 I was still working in 32 bit and they required too much in memory resources along with hair and everything else in the scene when rendering.

Sad that Genesis/G2F is such a pain to deal with in Poser as it appears you already had an excellent command of the programme. I am not that thrilled with the eye reflections for Genesis/G2 in Daz as they sometimes make the characters look as if they had cataracts.

It wasn't quite as good as I first thought, that was the only angle she looked good from. The lights would have been pretty standard as I wasn't really developing my own sets then, all I was really doing was tweaking morphs++ and hoping for the best.

With the right morphs, lights and shaders I could do an even better one now, but right now I just want to concentrate on the new build.

I think the reminder bots are designed to not flood your inbox, so it'll send you one reminder the first time, and then it won't send any more until you visit the thread. At least that's how it seems to me. Haven't investigated to see if I'm right, though.

Well, I just got one. I think they're just sporadic.

    ...just sent it.

Didn't want to bore the others who just want to post pics here with unrelated stuff.

    Fair enough,

I keep forgetting that, even though I started the thread, other people just want to post their renders here.

Just experimented with the scene setup included in DAZ Studio Tutorials -> Genesis 2 Barefoot Dancer.
Pretty nice lights and the scene. Below is the Daz Studio 4.6 Pro render (15 minutes 49 seconds)
    of Ginger http://www.daz3d.com/ginger

When I switched UberEnvironment with Advanced Ambient Light, I got the render below.
Rendering Time: 14 minutes 18 seconds.
How can one get better looking teeth on the render?
Shall I add some additional light to enlighten the teeth? What's the secret.

Cool stuff. I stopped counting renders times since I have moderated the amount of renders I produce and my monster can keep running cool and I queue render often.

    Those look great!

It's a scene I've never really looked into, but may sometime. DS isn't really a priority as much as building a machine to run it on is, I'll really start experimenting with more stuff when I know I have something that can handle it.

Cool running is why I don't intend doing much DS till the new one is done.

I was testing my K4 autofit for Genesis 2 and this was the result. The shoes are for genesis, not K4, but the dress and shirt are K4 originally. Still needs a lot of work, but it's not a bad start.

After decreasing the subsurface strength to 70% her teeth looks better, so I can continue with open mouth renders.

Thanks. In the thread they told to decrease the subsurface strength (to 70%), but also they played with the lights.
I have only Dental Plan for Genesis, but not for Genesis 2.
