...believe me when you have dyslexia and short term memory issues, the DIM is definitely a nice thing to have. Last I need is to put something in the wrong place and get a bunch of grey boxes or path errors.  Also the Database actually works now without giving me errors that this or that cannot be found.

For myself, my freebie collection and Rendo items will involve more than enough manual installation.

Those go into different runtime folders as none of it has any metadata.

...looks yummy, and easy to do in an air fryer.

What is the actual difference between and air fryer and an electric fan oven?

    (apart form size)

Since an air fryer doesn’t require oil to fry the foods, it seems to “simulate” frying using convection... I actually like it’s method of cooking more than actual frying because I’m not a fan of oily food. It’s also a lot better at not stinking up the house than oil frying... in regards to an electric fan oven, which I’m assuming is the same as a convection oven, the size of the air fryer seems to change how the convection heat cooks the food... a full size oven doesn’t seem to be able to make the food as “fried”... Also (air fryer) is fun to stick all sorts of stuff into it and see what it comes out tasting like... Well, the canned tuna idea wasn’t a fun result, but other things were... mostly... sorta.

..well, I wouldn't try pizza or cheesy mac, or a grilled cheese, all that melted cheese would make a royal mess of things.

Have you considered using this to create DIM files and then installing with DIM?

...first time I clicked on teh link and it took me to the Daz site front page.

Still looks like a lot of extra work though having to do so for each individual product/freebie.  Seems just as easy using my own system of categorising them by item type because so many such items are lacking when it comes to using proper naming conventions.

Non-complaint:  It's Tuesday, I get out of the house again for a micro-adventure uptown to do "Tuesday uptown chores".  Yay!  Snow is gone again.  Weather is bright & sunny.  Car is full of gas.  I have discretionary cash in my pocket.  I think I'll get a decent lunch at Ruby Tuesday or Red Lobster or the oriental buffet at Sakura Buffet.  yes

You were 8 in 1969?  I was um?  I think my mum turned 13 that year so she was 12 when Armstrong landed on the moon.  But what was I?  No clue,

Well, one of them kept acting...at least for a while.  I remember Susan Dey in a sci-fi movie about computer generated models being used in commercials.  Was she also in The Eyes of Laura Mars?  Don't know.  Another one, Danny B., got into a lot of trouble, tried celebrety boxing, and I think now has a radio show...but maybe that's over.  I don't know about the others, without looking them up on imdb.com.

...back to downloading and installing.  So I am only using the Daz 4.5+ Download Filter qt the moment to just install Daz4 Library content.  However in the last batch I downloaded there were a number of "DS" items that listed the install  path as "Runtime/Geometries" instead of "Data".  "Geometries" refers to the old Poser runtime structure, (< Daz 4.x) so why was that content not filtered out?  Having to go through each product to verify which install path to use is what I was hoping to avoid.

Wait if my mum was 12 when the Apollo moon landing happened and she did not have me until she was in her twenties I think, then I was not around then.

    Poser items with DS materials?

Remember that there are a lot of DAZ items that used the Poser runtime, for example, V4 and family.  Could be that, could be items that have a DS and a Poser version but they weren't seperated into two installers.  Or it could be that I don't know what I'm talking about.

    ...yes.

For example I have a number of items that downloaded with the 4.5+ filter but all show install targets that suggest the Poser runtime structure such as:

Content/Runtime/Geometries/Moret/Mo-Racolet.obj.  (Racolet House which downloaded using the Daz Studio 4.5+ filter - all other filters unchecked).

I would think this filter would have screened out anything that didn't conform to Daz 4.5+ library structure.(eg. beginning with "Content/Data/[...]" as the install path).  Really confusing and very time consuming having to go through each and every item to determine where it needs to be installed.  This is why I wish there was some flag in the Download Tab to let one know what goes where beforehand..

...but then why were these not screened out when i only used the Daz 4.5+ filter?  I would think older content would show only if I used say the "Daz Studio 3" or "Daz Studio 3 (<)" download filters as older versions of the programme used just the Poser runtime structure.

I think Racolet House was release after DS 4 was out.  I could be wrong, though.  My sense of time seems a bit off lately.

They are still usable in DS 4.5+ so I would expect them to be tagged as compatible. I wouldn't expect a Poser version to show if it was not compatible with DS, or if it had a DS-native version too.

Change it up, unless there's something preventing you from doing so.  There's nothing wrong with a repetative schedule, as long as you are ok with it.  However it sounds like at least at the moment, it's making you unhappy.  Do something different.  Throw an element of randomness in.  Meet a new friend, start a new hobby, take a class, go someplace you haven't been before, try a new food, volunteer for something.  You can always go back if it didn't help.
