I am guessing you need to be less specific in your search terms, look for things under: historical, Victorian, Renaissance, Classic, Regency, etc etc.

Hi everyone !

I'm looking for a bi-colored turkish turban like in famous Vermeer's portrait "girl with a pearl earring", for V4 in poser... and as freebie as possible....

I've found some hennins in SharecGC but even if they are very very good, this is not exactly what i would like....

Does anyone know of any long hair that is for female genesis 2? I can't pay for anything so if there's a freebie please let me know. I need it to be long hair that is realistic looking. I don't mind having it in a ponytail or something.

I don't know whether anybody's fitted this to Genesis yet, but Kozaburo's "Long Hair Evolution" fits the rest of your requirements list - if you define "long" as "past the shoulders."

If not, there might be something on Kerya's list of free hair... maybe?

I did some experimenting with G2F and V4 hairs. I found that if G2F is in her zero position and you have her selected when you click on a V4 hair that is a "prop", that is not rigged or conforming then the hair comes in at the correct position. I then used A3's hair. Doing the same thing loading G2F in her zero position. Have her selected in the scene, I loaded Mitsu hair in. I then applied a V4 fit to the hair and it went to the correct location for G2F. So with that said you can use any hair that has a V4 fit on a G2F just remember that this process only works on prop hair. In reality all hair can be fitted to any figure. It can be difficult at times so fits come in handy.

So I put together a list for you to get you started. The image is Realmling's Mars hair and DAZ 3D's Mitsu hair, draven931's maps and fits.

Yes, you can use August Hair in Daz Studio. I've used it many times on my character Tommie when using Erato Hair (her current main hair style) would put me over the Paid for limit in the Freebie Challenges. It was also the first hair I used on her. The attached image below uses the August Hair. As for installing it. It's pretty simple to do, even manually. Open the both the Aug_H_0012.Zip file and the August_Hair++.zip files (you need both), as well as your Documents>Daz Studio>My Library folder then put the The Zip files will have Runtime folders in them. Open the one from Aug_H_0012 first, In that you'll find three folders, Geometries, Libraries, and Textures. Open Geometries, and you'll find a folder named Neftis. Drag this into your My Libraries>Runtime>Geometries folder (if you've already installed anything else by Neftis and thus already have a Neftis folder in your Geometries, drag the contents from, the August hair Runtime>Geometries>Neftis folder into that existing folder in your geometries). Then, in the Libraries folder, you'll find two more folders: Character and Pose. Inside Character there is a folder named August Hair. Drag and drop that into My Libraries>Runtime>Libraries>Character. In the Pose folder, you'll fined a folder named August Hair Mats. Drag and drop that into My Lybrary>Runtime>Libraries>Pose. In the Textures folder, you'll find a folder named Neftis. As with the Geometries, drag and drop this onto your Textures folder, or if you already have a Nefits folder in your Textures, drag the contents from this folder into that. Once you have installed the main August Hair files into your Runtime. Open the August Hair ++ Runtime folder. Inside is Librairies folder and Readme file. Open the Libraries>Character>August Hair folders, and drag the contents from that into your My Libraries>Runtime>Libraries>Character>August Hair folder. This will now add the August Hair ++ files to your August Hair.

That was really helpful and super easy to follow. Thanks so much. The only problem is, I did all of the bits for the first zip folder but I'm not sure where to get the second zip folder from. I installed all the bits from Aug_H_0012.zip but where do you get the other folder from? Thanks.

You'll have to look in your Poser Content - it won't show up in Smart Content.

The hair itself will be in Figures, in a subfolder named August Hair. The textures will be in Poses, in a subfolder named August Hair Mats.

(When you're doing this sort of installation in the future, you'll need to look in Poser Content for the items. They'll be in the sections that match the names of the folders under Libraries in the zip file(s) - most of the names are the same or almost the same (pose/Poses, props/Props, face/Faces, and so on), but you'd look for the character subfolder under Figures.)

I'm snooping around for racing-style (or even just "generic") coveralls that fits the A4/V4/M4 or Genesis 1 figures, something similar to this. I doubt something this specific exists, so if that can't be answered, what are the best clothes that can be re-textured to give a similar appearance?

I'm trying to track down two things for a render at the moment and they're proving to be tricky to find, so I'm appealing to all you lovely people for help!

1) A fender Telecaster.
2) A basset hound.

I've managed to track down a model of a Telecaster which I might be able to use - it's .obj or .lwo file, but it's devoid of any textures - not a huge issue, but it does make for extra complicatons I was trying to avoid.

I've also managed to track down a morph for Millenium Dog which will give me a basset hound, but not sure if it will work with Millenium Dog LE.

So.... can anyone out there help me?

mill dog LE won't take morphs, you need the full mill dog to do that
