I saw this picture of a 1958 Chevy, and thought, hey! I have a 3D 58 Chevy myself, I liked the scene in which the car was featured, so was inspired to do a scene of my own, while I don't have the same props, and really don't want to go to the trouble of making the same props, the pic did become an inspiration.
Pretty darn close I'd say. Maybe just a bit lighter on the color, and the front parking lights on yours are yellow but white on the real photo. Other than that, pretty darn close.
I need to throw a few more photons at the seat fabric to get the spec to settle down, but I'm liking the way the rest of it is shaping up.
I saw this car in the Daz store...almost bought it but I am into vintage muscle cars mainly. Looks real nice here. You did a great job of rendering it.
I never actually posted in here before, and while I have done a few cars and bikes I just haven't really felt they belonged here.. but I decided to atleast share one of my bike renders... Did this a while ago for a friend who has two loves... Bikes and Women *grins* Hope you enjoy *smiles*

Come Ride With Us
Don't know which I like better...the bikes or the girls riding them! Really nice scene. Thanks for shareing it with us. Would love to see more.
Here is one I found in the Sketchup warehouse. Though it is not a muscle car or hot rod, it is vintage and a very cool ride. This 1963 Mercedes 300 Sedan has a lot of nice detail. Even has the reflection in the mirrors and tread details. I just liked the way it looked, so I got it...lol.
Also got this one at the warehouse. It is a very rare bird. A 1970 Mercury Cyclone Spoiler. They probably only made about 50 of these, all in yellow. Just a really super find. This has the original look with the Hurst compitition shifter, hood locks, rally wheels and moon type hubcaps.
Well, I feel left out, so I'll post something I did a while back...my very first render with Poser Pro 2010...and Miki 3. I missed something when I set it up and didn't get shadows. But, I hadn't studied it much, just wanted to see what I could do with it. It really wasn't bad to work with it...except for those darn shadows.

I just love this car! There are many available on the net, but this one seemed special with such a great mesh. Problem is, I can't remember where I got it...lol. It is in .obj format and I think it may have been a Japanese site. Oh well.
