No, it was working fine until last night. Maybe too many customers downloading at once? It was just doing partial downloads and some items I had to click like 100 times before they would fully download...
DIM hit and miss on purchased content showing up in the 'ready to install' panel. It is a bit frustrating if I've purchased many items because I have to check each one against what I purchased to make sure I actually got the item installed. For example I purchased Mei Lin along with the 10 free items but only some of them show up as ready to download. This happens frequently. Is it a bug?
So the other items which don't show as ready to download, are already downloaded\installed?
No they are not. They do appear in the purchased order but not all of them appear in the ready to install panel in DIM. Only three items that belong to the Mei Lin bundle were listed and only a few of the 10 free items. I had to install them manually. When this happens I worry that some content I purchased will be missed especially during big sales.
That sounds like a server issue to me, especially with the Mei Lin bundle being a new release.
Hadn't thought of that maybe that's it but it does happen frequently.
Just discovered another item I had purchased as a bundle recently and two of the three items were not installed through DIM. I just now installed them manually. Really need DIM to do what it's supposed to do. Am I the only one with this problem? Doctor Jellybean I am not understanding how it could be a server issue. Do you mean that DIM is overloaded somehow and cannot show all of my purchases? Thanks for any reply.

It was as recently as the new Mei Lin bundle and also Dragonsbane Barbarian Bundle. When I start up DIM I get partial lists of my purchases but I don't always make sure everything is listed so some items are not getting installed until I notice they are missing. I have to do install manually. Right now I am trying to figure out how to go over all of my purchases to make sure nothing else is missing. Not an easy task I have so much content now.
Can you give examples of the specific files missing from Mei Lin 8 Pro? I can then look at mine. If you look at the DIM log file (click the gear icon to open Prefrences and there's a button to launch the log at the bottom) is there any mention of products lacking tags?
DIM did not install from the pro bundle; Mei Lin 8, Yoshie HD, Emiyo, Toxiphilite, dforce Kimono, the Fearless One, Helena Hair. As far as the log I see lots of entries here is just a snippet I don't know what Mei Lin's product number is. There are also many entries that say missing tags.

Mei Lin is 55163 - the SKU is on the product page. Those items show in DIM for me, with Connect Available (and Connect Installed, since I had already installed that way) checked in Download Filters. Please post screen shot(s) of your Download Filters.
Try adding "Connect Available" to your "Show" list in DIM setup. I have noticed that many products have only this tag set, for some reason. I thought it was taken from the supplement file in the zip itself, but I checked a couple of manifests (in the download folder, not the one in the .zip) and the tags displayed in DIM are the ones in that manifest, which do not always match the tags in the supplement.dsx (the one in the .zip). I have a bit of a backlog, and toggling "Connect Available" shows a difference of 9 (of 128 files available for download).
The Dragonsbane bundle, for example, shows, in DIM (after installation, mind you) only the "Connect Available" tag for the character, but "Daz Studio 4.5+" for the Clothes and the Hair and Beard, however the supplements all show only DazStudio4_5 for the product tags. Changing my "Show" settings doesn't change what shows, though...

Those with the same name are original versions of newer products that were re-numbered when bought out by Daz (a long time ago).
Which? If there are products without tags they need updating, but to do that we need to know which ones.
I get a whole lot of "no tags" and a fair number of duplicate names messages whenever I start up DIM - do you want my list too?

Heh, that looks a lot like my list, too. Mostly, if not all, files that are downloaded but not installed (Ps, Legacy, OBJ), so no installation manifest file. However, DIM shows tags for all of them when hovering over the entry, so the info is coming from somewhere (the accompnying .dsx file, presumably). But if it isn't downloaded yet, where does DIM get the info for the Tags?

Product 713-1:Hippocampus Ps has no tags
Product 688-1 has the same name as 5004-1:Outlander for Michael
Product 433-1:Hatchling Dragon Ps has no tags
Product 381-2:Gothic Ruins Br has no tags
Some of this stuff is really old.
I looked at the list and connect available is already checked.under show. Thanks for the suggestion.
Well I didn' t figure in the filters, thanks Richard. I see that Daz 4.5+ among several others weren't checked like Bryce and Carrara. I just finished checking the boxes and I am seeing a list now in the ready to install panel and one of those is the missing Mei Lin downloads. I don't know how my filters may have gotten unchecked. I'm sorry for the confusion. Thanks for all the help.
Thanks fr the lists, I have/will sent them in to Daz - Rob has a script to fix the issue, the ones MelanieL reported should already be done.

If you have already manually downloaded the missing items, then no. Otherwise it should show up as normally in DIM (once the items have synced on the server).

These products will not install through DIM no matter how many times I try. They have a checkmark next to them as if they are installed in Smart Content but are not. I haven't tried Connect because I don't want to add anything to my C drive....
So theya re appearing in the Installed tab, just not showing in DS? Can you find them as files in the Content Library under Daz Studio Formats?
No they are not showing up in the Installed tab or in the Content Library although DIM shows them as being installed and with a checkmark for Smart Content. There are also a bunch more greyed out in Smart Content but they are mostly morphs and expressions and I haven't checked them all but although they don't show up in either library, the few I checked ARE available to use when a figure is in the scene via dials.
I'm getting the message "Download Failed!" in the queue whenever I'm trying to install a product. I have to try several times before they get installed.
I sent in a support ticket 2 weeks ago. Still waiting...
Has anyone solved the Daz Installer Cannot Run With Elevated Permissions problem? I'm NOT running as admin or right clicking to do so, my run as admin is off and i did try with it on. Can i make purchases through Daz Connect without using DIM?
