...'plaint.  One of the apartments on the floor is being redone,  Getting a strong aroma of something that smells like nail polish remover or model aeroplane dope.  Fortunately warm today, 55°, and no rain so at least can have the windows open.

The year I lived in Orlando I was working for a company that made Lasers.  Big ones, that when mounted on computer controlled robotic arms could carve ship propellers from solid blocks of metal.  My office and computer room was on the assembly floor on the other side of the wall of the painting room. Ugh!  Somedays I just had to avoid my office. sad

I have another story surprise about those big Lasers, but that's for another time.  Remind me.

That other story...were they mounted on sharks?  laugh

laugh almost as chaotic! surprise  It was one of the biggest models the company made at the time  A 6000 watt, continuously firing 1 inch diameter infrared beam, metal cutting laser on a multi-axis robotic arm that was out of control and the safety shutdown shutter wasn't working.  My first knowlege of it was when I heard a report on the radio about a run-away Laser at a Naval shipyard while driving into work.  I'd only just started working for the Laser company and had never worked on a delivered machine yet but when I got to work I asked my supervisor "Was that run-away laser one of ours?"  His reply was "You don't want to know!"  Soooo...indecision   I kept my mouth shut and started examining the software listings for the laser control systems of previously delivered machines and found potential real-time race conditions that under infrequent but not prohibited situations could leave the shutdown shutter open.  Oops!  I never heard another word about the situation.  But since I was in the process of totally rewriting all the control software from scratch I didn't let that situation slip through in my code.

Edited to add:  The beam from the Laser was 1 inch diameter and even when unfocused it could blast its way through a cinderblock. surprise  Not a toy.  indecision

I take the blame and get accused of having a pity party.  I am utterly confused.

....they apparently are taking advantage of you.  You accept blame for whatever happens and they are off the hook. You really need to get out of that place.

That makes sense but I am not allowed to say that out loud.

What you need to do is get in touch with your care worker.  Tell them that you want to call a meeting between yourself, the care worker,  the head of the house you are in and possibly  (if she can be available) your Mother.   Then you need to say that you want a set of rules hammered out, that will go both ways,  the house staff must abide by them as well as you.   So they will need to make a schedule for regular occurences that you know to work with, or round, depending on your own schedule.  So meal times need to be scheduled in the house, and the schedules should not be changed at a moments notice, so you are not aware because of being at work or regular recreation. Actually with meal times in particular,  they should always be on a regular schedule, not just for your benefit, but for the benefit of the health of everyone involved.  Chopping and changing meal times is not advantageous to anyones health, and should be avoided whenever possible.  Obviously scheduled work shifts will have to take preference if they do clash with normal house schedules, and that will only affect you, as you are apparently the only one in the house that does work for a living (apart from the house staff). Any changes to the laid down scheduled should be communicated to everyone and reasonable notice given. You should not be punished or ignored just because you are working, but equally you should not expect them to work round you.   It needs to be give and take, a regular routine established and abided by on both sides.

Of course I could not eat in peace as the staff was on her phone talking loudly that my ride was supposedly 2 hours late.  I got off work at 2;30pm and got home around a quarter after 4. I started to reach out to my ride at 2;38 but they came after 4pm.  Now the staff wants a meeting with just the home but without my support team.

Everything I said gets turned around and twisted into being considered lies.  Of course she is talking loudly about everything I have done wrong and mock how I supposedly talk.

You should have the right to have your support team present at a meeting of this nature,  and you should be proactive in getting in touch with them.

I need to get to bed.  It is already nine thirty pm.  I probably should not have had that doctor pepper, even though it was diet.  Too bad I cannot go into the kitchen to drink some water as I am thirsty.

I wrote about 1481 words tonight.  I took what I wrote down on paper and expanded on it.  Here is the rough draft of what I wrote so far.  Now I need to go to bed.

Wow, your main character is called Kurt, and is in a symbiotic relationship with someone. His guardian is called Samantha. Without going into personal details, I do actually know a Samantha, who is Schizophrenic, and her tormenter (voice) is called exactly Kurt. indecision

Non-complaint:  My back is not quite so complaintworthy today. yes  I felt good enough to shovel the snow from my porch so that I could get down the steps to the plowed driveway.  Tomorrow I'll tackle walking to the back of the house to the car and digging it out of the snowbank. frown

I'm still without discretionary cash until Wednesday so no need to go shopping or out to lunch.  Weather forecast looks snow free until at least Wednesday but I should get the snow off of the car before it compacts and turns heavy.

I'm going to render a scene Lux Render OpenCL with my AMD video card.  The video card only has 2 GB of video memory though.

I might need to reschedule my doctor's appointment.  The weather forcast calls for 5 to 12 inches of snow.
