...yeah, when unpacking things a while back, I accidentally broke my French Press so no coffee at home. Since then, ended up getting used to strong British tea in the mornings and now that does the trick (just the regular straight black tea with a bit of sugar).

I hate that!  I almost always seem to wake up about a half hour before the alarm goes off.  then when it does, I don't feel like getting up.   blush

Easy solution:  Change your expectations and your alarm setting. devil

(However, if the problem persists and you find yourself getting up at 2:30AM, see a specialist enlightened)

Getting up at 2:30 am?     laugh  I'm still very much awake and active at the time most nights.  Yeah, I know.  I'm trying to change that.  It's tough, though.  But it seems really easy to fall back into the night owl mode.

Freight train at the industrial place is loud.  Who decided to build a rock processing plant in the middle of a residential neighborhood?  Its 2:45 in the morning.  Can't sleep.  I thought the road construction was loud at night.

...yeah we had a double track freight line a block away from where I lived back in Milwaukee as well as were under the approach to the main North-South runway of the local airport (and back in those days the first generation jetliners were really noisy compared to today, yeah back then Eastern called their 727s "Whisperjets" though they were anything but they they flew over the house).  Guess we all kInda got used to it though..

During my first couple weeks at college (in a small northern Wisconsin town) I actually had trouble sleeping because it was too quiet as the residence hall I was in was on the older part of the campus and had a noise curfew after 22:30.

We never had that problem at night but in my little upstate NY town there was a wood chipping mill next to a railroad siding a half block from my house.  During the day, loads of lumber & junk trees would come in on trucks or trains and be shipped out as coal cars full of chunky sawdust afterwards.  All day long was GRRRRINNNNDDDD, pause, GRRRRINNNNDDDD, pause, GRRRRINNNNDDDD, pause, GRRRRINNNNDDDD, pause, GRRRRINNNNDDDD, pause, GRRRRINNNNDDDD...  There was another chipping mill 4 miles up the road.  Apparently during the '50s, chunky sawdust was big business. frown

    I think I live near a quarry.

I thought my oral surgeon's office closes at 4 P.M. on Friday.  They closed at 3 P.M.  Now I need to wait until Monday to call the office.  I forgot that dental offices close early on Friday.

...currently I live across the intersection from the City's main post office and mail distribution/processing centre as well as about 2 blocks form Union Station. .  When I first moved here there was alot of noise from the post office centre as big trucks would come., load up, and leave all through the night .  That is changing as they are in the final process of moving to a new distribution centre out on the east side near the airport. Amazon considered locating a distribution warehouse in it's place (ugh) but the city now looks to zone the property for housing and retail development (thankfully).  The train station isn't much of a bother, actually like the sound at night.

The worst are those speed racer wannabes in their Mercedes, Lexus, Audi, Porsche, & BMWs well as the kids in their hopped up cars with the fart mufflers, who burn rubber and zoom past the building all evening into the early morning hours.

There is going to be a Christmas party at my mum's house tomorrow.  It is on a street that is not on the map (from what I understand what my stepfather thinks).  Anyway it is a family party so I cannot allowed to invite anyone anyway.   (My Stepfather is confused about the street not being on a map, but oh well.  Or he pretends that because he does not want anyone to know where they live, I guess.)  Mum's birthday is Sunday.  I got one last item for her birthday present, but I wrapped it in an old tanktop that I do not want.  Oh wait, would that mean my mum might think I am giving her the tank top?  I did that because I did not want to wrap her birthday present in Christmas wrapping paper.

/*Begin Geezer Gab*/  What is it with kids and cars?  I think cars should be an after 50 thing. cheeky  After the age when one realizes that one is NOT immortal nor are the biological entities one runs into with out-of-control cars.

Oh no!  Oh dear!  I checked to see what RawArt stuff I have but I do not have any of his Genesis 8 stuff!

At least I want to blend one of his a Genesis 3 male characters with a Josh Crocket character (also for Genesis 3 male).
