    Great shadows, thanks for posting!

I just finished this one and I love it! All other attempts to light this scene were abject failures. This is HiveWire 3D's Dawn with the free Doe morph from ShareCG. The clothes are autofits from V4. The environment is Stonemason's Enchanted Forest from the DAZ store. I did a little extra post work in PS to apply the Topaz Venice Painting filter to a reduced opacity layer on top of my render.

There should be, checking with DAZ now...

There was talk earlier of an update discount, but haven't seen if there ended up being one. I certainly don't see it advertised. I am considering upgrading, but might have to wait awhile if there isn't a discount.

You've posted this a couple of times but nothing ever comes of it. The initial release sale is over. Will there be an upgrade price or not?

Hey, I understand your frustration. I'm not running the sales process for LDP-R. All I can do is ask for a discount to be added.

A discount code was emailed out by DAZ on Aug 7. It should still be active, and I'm checking with them to make sure it is.

Adding another render done with LDP-R that I really like, another psuedo-interior piece.

Used a V4 figure inside the GIS Sigma set and LDP-R. Comments and opinions are always welcome.

DAZ and their emails are quite unreliable. I received nothing from DAZ regarding an upgrade.

Hi icprncss, I bought Light Dome Pro before Daz Studio 4 came out, loved it in Daz Studio 3, and like everyone who used it was sad when it no longer worked in the latest versions of DS.

I did receive an email from Daz back when Light Dome Pro-R had been out for a few days for 10% off, which could be added to the sale price, which I believe was 30% off. I think someone else mentioned the coupon as well, in this thread or another.

If you owned Light Dome Pro and did not get an email, perhaps you should contact Daz. I don't believe that Dreamlight can help you with that, but his looking into it back when it was first mentioned was probably the reason they sent the coupon in the first place. Regards, -Cathy

Please contact DAZ and ask them to add the discount to your account. They'll be happy to help you out! :)

Love the high contrast, works perfectly with the "love" theme!

I was wondering if you have had a chance to do any night time presets for LDP-R

I keep getting the blue screen of death when trying to render LDR-P. I followed the manual for the settings. It works on the most basic scenes.

    Help

It was getting really bad so i reinstalled window and that has cured it sooo far.

    Thanks for any help

Well it did it again, next time I will write down what it says on the BSOD. I think it said clock on processor was stopped.

Yes, there will be a "LDP-R combine night" action for Photoshop. Also, a Gimp script . I'm just a couple of days away from uploading the changes to DAZ.

It sounds like you're having some technical issues with your graphics card. Have you installed the latest drivers?

Just wondering if anyone had any success in getting the discount post sale? I bought LDP on release day, a few days before the upgrade coupon was sent out.

I did open a support ticket last week, but have not heard anything back. Should I be expecting bad news?

First off... Finally got an answer to my support ticket. The corrected upgrade price was honored. So thanks for looking into the upgrade situation.

Second... Watched the first LDP training video and found it extremely helpful. It brought options to my attention that I hadn't even considered. I was surprised at how many details I found.

Third... Inspired me to get another render underway which, sadly, I can't post here due to nudity content. I finally got around to using some of the suggestions in the Pin Up Master videos I bought months ago.

I'm sorry, but I really have no clue as to what can be wrong here... Have you ever experiened crashes without LDP-R?

Done. I think. The PM system is a little wonky here. Can't tell if it sent, lost the message, or some combination of the two.

If you tick the box under the type pane before you send a message, it will save a copy to your outbox.

I'm really impressed with your render, the first one (with the draping) is truly amazing! Way to go! :) The second one, has a little too red:ish bouncing and maybe too little light on the lady. Keep up the great work!

Thanks! I really appreciate the feedback.

I intentionally over did the red on the second model. To fit with the environment... I thought the color of the flowers would help off set the hue a little, to make it less jarring. Whether it was a good choice or not, don't know.

I did want to do a picture with a little more realistic body. The first image I didn't do much modification to the model (because the image started off as a series of experiments).

You're welcome! You certainly nailed the bodies! Ops, that didn't come out right...

I love the potential of the product but sadly I’ve yet to get it to work properly. The output folder never gets created. It’s alluded to a 7th image that may be the problem but the render only generates 6 and I have to manually save those to another directory. In Photoshop The script never runs to completion. I can run it but all it does is stall at the end. “Save changes to the Adobe Photoshop Document 6_Sun.png before closing? Then The object layer “Background” is not currently available. Continue // Stop. Neither option works and just leaves me at a blank photoshop section with no document loaded. Anyone know how to fix this?

I also think I should add the following:

Operating System: Win 7 Ultimate x64
    Daz Studio Version: 4.6 Pro
Photoshop Version: Tried both CS5.1 (x64) and CC (x64)

The way I’ve been doing it is to set up my image. Set sunlight angle. Then I frame my shot with the LDP-R camera. Then I hit Render => Render LDP-R. LDP-R does render 7 images. (I forgot to count the 0-Fog image). What it does not do is auto save the renders to a directory. The directory referenced in the manual just doesn’t exist. I don’t get an error indicating it doesn’t exist but I have to manually save each render to the same folder. I’ve tried saving them as both .png and the default .bmp. Next I open all the documents in Photoshop CC. I go to my actions panel and I select LDP-R Combine then hit play. The action runs but then stalls at the very end. A window comes up asking if I want to save changes to 6_Sun.png before closing? I’ve tried hitting both yes and no but right after I get the error stating “Object Backround is not currently available.” I’ve tried skipping that step (unchecking it in the actions panel) but then it goes on to other errors indicating “Paste is not currently available). I’m not sure what’s causing this. I’ve tried both Photoshop CC and Photoshop CS 5.1. (x64). Any ideas as to why this is happening? This looks like a pretty decent light set and I’d love to use it but as it stands the rendering time I’m saving I’m losing in having to manually save everything. The combine script also looks like it might be cool but since it can’t finish I never see the end result. Thanks in advance for the help!
