Thanks for posting! What are your settings? It looks like the bouncing is quite hard... When you have scenes with a lower camera angle, it can be useful to lower the bouncing. (Sky bouncing). Also, I'd love to help you bring out some more details in this scene... If you can post the settings?

A couple I did for last week's PC challenge using LDP-R.

The silhouette image was done with just the background layer image rendered in the LDP-R process. I added a little "glow" effect and adjusted contrast.

Yes, already designed and being implemented. Just not sure if it will be available in the "gimp" update or later... I'll keep you guys posted!

I thought I'd show this one. I made it by using LDP-R combined with a seperate render done using Age of Armour's Atmospheric cameras. I basically set the atmospheric camera to the exact same settings as the LDP-R camera and ran it. LDP-R was used mainly for light on the walls and such as well as the cool filter. It looks better bigger.

Its great to hear about the update, I do use photoshop, a rather older version but it still works great.

Also if I may plug a very nice piece of software, http://www.ononesoftware.com/products/perfect-effects-free/

I find it to be a great alternative to photoshop or gimp and it can also work along side photoshop. Once I get the updated LDP-R I hope to do some even better renders with more lights and effects.

Love the effect, although I think some glow would need to be present in front of the character.

I thought I would try a still life and see how that looked with LDP. This was done pretty quickly, but I thought it turned out pretty nice.

While not 100% 'pure' LDP-R, it was used as part of my process to produce this...

I just finished this one and I love it! All other attempts to light this scene were abject failures. This is HiveWire 3D's Dawn with the free Doe morph from ShareCG. The clothes are autofits from V4. The environment is Stonemason's Enchanted Forest from the DAZ store. I did a little extra post work in PS to apply the Topaz Venice Painting filter to a reduced opacity layer on top of my render.

There was talk earlier of an update discount, but haven't seen if there ended up being one. I certainly don't see it advertised. I am considering upgrading, but might have to wait awhile if there isn't a discount.
