FINALLY home from the hospital .a day late cause I had some complications with blood pressure which I have never had.its back to normal now...just need to get out of the hospital. It will be a long recovery but I will be 100 percent in about six months to a year. But being healthier is a good thing.
Want to hear something funny, two days before I had the surgery the broken toe I did two years ago that was shorter than its counterpart. After I smashed on the same table I the same place, but thus time I set it back in place, for the most part anyway. I hate spell check, I would correct the words but I'm on the iPad.

Anyway..... I must refrain so I don't re-injur myself I have set out an assortment of pies for everyone to have fun in celebration, you don't have celebrate me but someone you know that needs that extra laughter. I have tossed the first pie and whoever comes in next will be splatted. I will walk off carefully to get out of the way.

I take it ALL back. Being short is DEFINITELY a handicap some times. Always have to ask for help with the top shelves in the stores and at home. You get to smell alot of armpits, don't have to duck for many things, wait that is a plus about being short. gotta have tall step ladders too.

never mind, I like it thoughWell, there is a difference between simply being "short" and actually having a form of Dwarfism, which is indeed considered a physical disability. The same with the inverse. There's a difference between simply being tall, and having a form of Giantism. Both Dwarfism and Giantism can also have other health complications too.

I agree Dwarfism is a handicap. Used to have a friend who suffered form it, and when he walked into a bar nobody could see him when he wanted to order a pint. :roll: He used to have to climb up a bar stool in order to be seen, and that could be difficult if the bar was busy and all the bar stools were in use. :coolsmirk:

And yes he did have health issues as well, it actually put a strain on his heart amongst other things.

BTW Jeeperz I hear you, I am only an inch taller than you,........................ but I was quite a bit taller than Jonny.

I had a girlfriend that was about 5 foot 1, and considering I'm 6 foot 3 it made for some very interesting adventures...But, as Tramp pointed out Dwarfism (and Gigantism as well) have any number of problems associated with them. I guess it's all in how one deals with these issues as to how they effect their quality of life. Solly's a Dwarf. It doesn't seem to bother him and it doesn't seem to bother the people around him. He's proven that he's just as capable as anybody else and does just fine in the world.

By the way, don't think that it's any great joy being tall. I've got an awful time trying to find pants to fit me. A 36" waist and a 36" inseam....I think they quit makin' 'em years ago...All I can find are 42 X 31. What are these people, fire hydrants?

snicker snicker.... I'm just funnin'... I knew the difference, just having some fun guys... not to mention I have a great great aunt that was a dwarf, my parents thought I would be one too because I was so tiny growing up. At 5 years old I weighed 25 lbs with a snow suit and leggins when we moved from Illinois to California. So I am fortunate that I never had any of the health issues that come along with dwarfism in our family jeans (no that's genes).

I like this one much better than the other. You closed in on the focused figure. He looks quite happy.

Two things here....you do have the required 10 minimum freebies, but all of them except one is from Sharecg.com. Didn't take much looking to find them, and the wheelchair is the same one everyone here has been getting. Not much work in just copying a link from someone else. Would like to see you folks broaden your searches for stuff. This does matter when we are choosing winners.

And 2....I think he needs a few ripples in the water to show some kind of movement so folks won't think he is dead. That water is mighty still! A good moving water texture would have worked fine. Just adjust the opacity to it to get the clearness you want.
