Maybe it's been mentioned before, but you should definitely check out blambot.com for fonts.  Many are free, and I'm pretty sure they can still be used for commercial comics as long as you are a small indie creator.

THANK YOU. I had forgotten about them, and hadn't visited their site for a few years. I did see a few fonts that are free for indie comic use, and a few for sale at very low prices. I'll do some font tests sometime next week, and if I like the results, I'll post the updates here.

Nice work. Good reflections, but the lighting looks a little flat to me.

It has been a long time since I posted here. A pair of renders of the webcrawler as a comeback :)

    Cool, I love spidey renders!

Very solid work. The classic red-blue costume is the stunning, although the webs look a little more like a grid. But that's a minor point -- LOVE the gloss on the costume.

I love it... "Good Night" *BAM* cheeky

Great image! I love all the subtle details in the composition. She's got her go-bag and an assault rifle, but she's lying in wait to clobber someone (Batman lurking in the background, perhaps?) The angle, the lighting, the pose...all top notch, RawArt.

She's the hunted.  She just doesn't know it...

Awesome image, RawArt.  That's a beautiful, dynamic composition.

  • Practice Dude...

Very nice render! I like the pose, POV, lighting... everything. This is an attractive young man, with just the right blend of muscular and slenderness to look like a student athlete. The red hair reminds me of the recent Archie Andrews update. The angle, of course, adds much-needed interest to the scene. And the minimalism really works here. Of course, we are left without a sense of place -- a few high school or college gym mats on the walls could solve that, though. Nice work, as usual!

New DeadPool... I think I have to spend more money and get Genesis 3 stuff.

Very nice work. He's nice and lanky. The image was a bit small, but from what I could see the muzzel flashes looked nice, and the lighting looked good. Love the curl on his toes -- nice comic touch.

For the "Aging Morphs" competition: The Family.  Featuring a certain "lovable old fraud".   "Tut tut, my dear!  Everyone has an unknown uncle, from California!"

Working on a scene inspired by this two page sequence from The Dark Age. I intend to add a few more background figures.

At the end of 52, Captain Marvel tried to convince the Egyptian Gods who give Black Adam his powers to take them away. They refuse. Billy, is however, able to change the word that BA uses to access the powers. So he does, and it takes Teth Adam quite a while before he stumbles on it.

Did they ever give the guy behind the counter a name? I based my shirt order cook that saves the world on him.

Great Caesar's Ghost! That's fantastic. The neck, bottons and collar are amazing. It loses realism on the shoulders, though. Can you add some slightly-puckered seams there?

Really nice. I like that you went with the classic red Mary Marvel costume, too. Nice job on Uncle Marvel, too.  He was always one of my favorites from that series.

You did a great job with that piece. I love the nod to the reto costume, but you updated it nicely. The lighting and veins add a nice touch to a simple, but wonderfully executed image.

I'll start watching the series next week -- I've heard great things about it.

With the retro look, I was toying with adding one of the big afro's from my library, but decided against it LOL

The series is good, I love what netflix is doign with those heros
