    That's G2F with rawart's Massive G2F  HD morph.

Anything I can do about the elbows here? She's more like the incredible Gumby than the incredible hulk in that area. Maybe I'll give her an actual background someday...

PS. How do you place the image inline rather than as an attachment? I can't seem to get it quite right.

What morphs are you using? Which figure?

Which? There are two - plain Massive and Extreme. I don't see an elbow issue using the Extreme version, which seems closest to yours, once the mesh has been posed (I do see it during posing, butt hat's a function of the tool settings). It almost looks as if the joint adjustment has been disabled. Are you suing a stock pose or a custom pose, and are you applying the morph from the Parameters pane or by a preset?

After looking that nice render over I have to agree.  The elbows are too rounded and the fold of the forearms are too smoothed out so there is this noticeable gap which I see first before the elbow issue....

It's the massive + massive HD morphs.

It's a bought pose which I've adjusted a bit, applied via a pose .duf. Where can I find the join adjustment settings?

    Thanks.

  • The morph will be adjusting the joints (if needed) itself - if you open the Parameter Settings dialogue (by clicking the gear icon at the right-hand end of the slider) and look under Sub-components you should see a list of anything the morph triggers.

  • These are a WIP from a few months ago that I had to sideline.  I was re-imagining the Turtles as teenagers, I've always felt like the teenage in TMNT was missing, they look more like early twentys or thirties in the comics and cartoons.

Leo, Raph, and Mikey are Genesis using JoeQuicks Turtle Power combined with Creature Creator and RawAwrt TyRex Morphs.

Donatello is M4 using Creature Creator and RawArts Reptilian Morphs.

The last guy is H4 and it's supposed to be a Shredder Concept,  but I think I had Assassins Creed on the mind or something.

I'm not sure how to open the Parameter Settings dialogue. When I look at what's set for the figure, the massive shoulder and forarm flex morphs have been set to some values, though not by me.

The morph will be adjusting the joints (if needed) itself - if you open the Parameter Settings dialogue (by clicking the gear icon at the right-hand end of the slider) and look under Sub-components you should see a list of anything the morph triggers.

Here is the same scene/figure but without any shaping morphs dialed in. It seems like the elbow distortion isn't really evident:

  • The news just broke this morning about this new addition to the Supergirl TV show. The costume looks great. A nice update of the original. If anyone might be inspired to create a DAZ version, I wouldn't complain.  wink

Sorry but my opinion on that Red Tornado costume is YUK!  It's got way to much detail in it.  The original Red was wearing a sleek skin tight costume with a collared cape... totally cool look!

I kind of wonder how much it will be enhanced digitally on the show? Right now I feel like I've been more impressed by the makeups and fabrications cranked out in three days on face off.

Personally I think the Supergirl show will be a hit but yea, that Red cosplay mess needs some help! lmao

Nope! Sorry to disagree, but I like the new look for the show. One neat thing is it does away with the cape. I always wondered how Reddy could control tornadoes and not get that thing twisted around his neck all the time. In my head, I always wondered if that was why he kept getting blown up in the comics.  wink

Plus RAMWolff there's still time to change later. According to the article, this is his slightly villainous version. According to the comics then, that would be the purple-caped version from Earth-2. Maybe when he switches to the side of good he can reclaim that forehead arrow that was borrowed by Aang in "Avatar the Last Airbender".  wink

We shall see.  The comments on the article are in total agreement with my viewpoint.  So perhaps they will rethink that look a bit.  Just sleek it up some more, too much mesh and weird angles.  He's supposed to be a tornado so I think "sleek" not cumbersome!

  • Speaking of Super Girl, here's a render I did for a recent Carrara render challenge. Since there were prizes involved I intentionally shied away from the insignia.

And for those that get hung up on it, I don't care about canon.

Thank you! I don't do many super hero renders and I was very pleased with how this came out.

No, this is the original Red Tornado:

  • The cuffs on the ankles makes it look like he's wearing Long Johns. I wonder if it has a "rear hatch" hidden under the shorts?!? LOL

Yes, she does; that's the original, Earth-2 Red Tornado, Ma Hunkel.

Ha! I forgot! Too funny! Maybe she'll show up with Jay Garrick in The Flash TV show?

True that but I'm talking about Earth 2 Tornado!  lmao  Well, you can't blame me for not wanting to own up to that faux pas!  lol

For what it's worth, Ma Hinkle is the original Earth 2 Red Tornado, and when the current Red Tornado was created it had Ma Hinkle's memories and thought it was Ma Hinkle (Justice League of America #64); it was also pure red with purple cape and trim, no arrow on the forehead and such.
