...yeah, I like this place. Good handcrafted ales, and a killer happy hour. I can get a 12" sausage and onion pizza with hand tossed crust (my fave) for only 8$. That's better than a "premium" frozen cardboard biscuit as all their ingredients are locally made.

heat advises next 2 days.  ugh, double shower days.  i puts platic bag over my newly tattooed arm  i give it a quick wipe with a huggies smiley

saw new endocrinologist today.  putting me on toujeo insulin pen, he said insulin pen wont cause gastric side effects, but i'll have to sugar test twice a day and worry bout dropping too low.  i gladly accept the trade-off.  in a stand-off with the gastro dr wants to do colonoscopy, i dont wanna be knocked out, biopsied, and i never drank a gallon of anything.  what happened to them givibg happy drugs, when they start knocking people out.

nurse practitioner wanting me to try another blood pressure med, said causes red face, headaches, swollen ankles, no wants any of those

2 dr appts today,  they said no pasta, bread, caffeine , dairy, telling me that puts it in my head.
went to pasta night tonight, had lasagna, chumnks of warm bread, coffee, mint choccy chip gelato.  is smoother than regular ice cream

found a holistic place in huntington does acupuncture and colon hydrotherapy,  sounds refreshing  lol

next thing to do is go for my TENS unit.  dunno if is gonna help me. dr said it will act like a painkiller, tried to talk me into pill pain killers instead.  fool i am, said no to pills.  she said the nueropathy makes my calf muscle to weak to pump the fluid back up, edema in my legs woes.  my hope is the right tens unit will jolt the calf muscles

    cool off!

Complaint:  In the last week I've received 4 email messages that went straight to my "junk" folder.  I just noticed them tonight and they were from daz3d and another forum that I watch, and had "Subject" lines like "Your account has been locked for security reasons", and "Reset password".

I suspected they were bogus because they went straight to "Junk" but I opened them in data only mode and looked at the raw data.  It was a long block of pure code like an image or an HTML block.  So, I suspect it was a phishing attempt to get me to link to a nasty site or worse yet, a virus to wreak havoc in my system.  Glad I didn't execute them.

However, a few days ago I did have to log in to both of those websites manually instead of letting my password manager in Norton Security provide the passwords for some reason.  And I failed three times for each of those sites before I finally gave up and looked them up in my paper copy of my site passwords.  So, they may have been legitimate warnings from the site.

...so what do those over educated people expect you to eat? Grass?

It's getting to the point they keep telling us anything we eat or drink is unhealthy.  I keep remembering the early Jazz pianist Eubie Blake who drank a pint of whiskey a day, ate a "regular" diet, smoked cigars like a chimney, and lived to the ripe old age if 97.

Good for you going out for pasta night.

    ...yuk sounds absolutely terrible.

It is beginning to appear that the treatments are worse than the disease these days. Great, my blood sugar level is down but now I'm at a higher risk for a heart attack and am gaining weight (which further exacerbates the diabetic situation).

One of the side effects of a medication for my form of arthritis is "death". I kid you not. Yeah I guess I won't ache anymore but I'll be mighty stiff.

i'se having trouble clearing my mind for sleep.

injected my 1st dose of toujeo.  nightmare of waking up with a fatty liver

Non-complaint:  Wow, I saved another hundred bucks last night yes by forgetting about the on-line auction again. sad Deep in the middle of an old Charlie Chan movie I remembered the auction and rushed to the computer to find that it was all over. crying  I scanned the catalog and discovered that the one item that I was interested in (a 4 inch high, carved, composite, semi-precious gemstone parrot),heart had started out at $20 and had sold for $100.  I probably wouldn't have gone that high anyway but would have enjoyed the brief adrenalin rush for two or three bids. smiley

Also, I'm marveling at all the money I've been saving by not biting at any DAZ sales ads for at least a month. devil

Make sure to check your sugar level regularly. You'll find out from the periodic blood panels you'll get at the Dr. whether you get any of the side effects. Concentrate on following Dr.'s orders and getting better!

...I keep missing out on Flash sales.  Good thing as well I guess, or I'd most likely be dining on that *ugh* mac and orange chemicals in a box for the rest of the month.

Instead of going out to eat, Mum took me to her home to have salad and to help reinstall office and mcafee.  Not sure why she uses mcafee.

unexpected leakage from a place that hasnt leaked in 20 years. about 2 hours after injection. and still leaking.

seeing other patients in waiting rooms is morale busting.  people on walkers with huge legs and arms i now recognize as fluid retention.

yesterday's blood pressure pill they trying to talk me into is AMLODIPINE BESYLATE 5 MG TAB
headaches, red face, and fluid retention in arms and legs.

I take that for blood pressure control and it works for me with no real side effects. I do have minor swelling in my feet and lower legs but I had that even before I took Amlodipine.

Plus it is generic so it's not very expensive.

I think I messed up my hair.

Hmmm..., while driving around the local city today I noticed a small building with a sign out front that advertised a small professional office.  The name on the sign was Todd Sweeney.    I hope he's not a barber. surprise  (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sweeney_Todd)

What an unfortunate name that would be for a barber.  Kind of like a dentist named "Paine" (there's one in Venice, FL who advertises his services on big roadside billboards) frown
