...I've been on buses where it pretty much sounded like that (particularly during the school year).
...at least it's not Yule music....yet.
Run around screaming, "It is not Christmas yet. Please wait until Thanksgiving before mentioning Yule."
on serious note,a PSA if you are going to use an external keyboard for an iPad, remember to turn the keyboard off before putting it in your bag. otherwise random keys will be pressed and your iPad will think someone is trying to put the wrong password in too many times and lock your iPad. Well I got 4 minutes left until I can use my iPad again.
Complaint: Just talked to the technician and the motherboard in my secondary computer is failing. I probably will need a new computer soon and I can't really afford it.
Two complaints
complaint 1: I restarted computer to find DIM no longer exist according to its shortcut. Now I have to reinstall it so I can use it. I have to check on laundry first.
complaint 2; my fish refuse to check on my laundry for me. No one else is in my room. If I go to the nearest person to ask I might as well check on it myself.
yet another complaint, my eeyore pajamas have unwanted holes in it,
....non-complaint: Finally the heat wave has broken and looks to stay that way for a while. Upper 60s to low 70s depending on location. compared to the low - mid 90s the last couple days. So far low to upper 70s forecast for the next tend days (fingers crossed).
Smoke has for the most part seems to have cleared out though air still deemed "unhealthful" (157 rating).
eeyore
Notebook is complaining computer is out of date. I mean the OS is out of date. I do not want to update it until it is time to go to bed. So it will update while I snore. or I do not snore but dream of Prince Charming instead then it will still update.
...hmm, my dreams are odd, mostly about travelling somewhere by train lately.
...music for my day yesterday.
(warning: trippy)
my xbox been trying for 3 days to d/l 3,6gb update. keeps failing.
My ride to YMCA should be here soon.
On my way to YMCA now. Glad my phone has hot spot data.
I am at YMCA on treadmill. Where is everyone else?
picked my 1st lovely tomato from my tomato plant.
coworker brought in fresh picked tomatoes and basil from his garden. smells aromatic around here
listening to 98.1. when did the music i grew up with become 'oldies'?
I wonder when mum will come pick me up to have lunch? I also wondered what happened to the smart thread?
I do not remember trying to open this web browser, but it is netherless open anyway.
I think it sunk under the weight of the not so smart comments it was attracting.
Have you been feeling in a travelin' mood lately? Pack a handkerchief sack, tie it to a stick and ride the rails?
Oh, I am definitely thinking of moving. Will try to wait until after November 6.
ordered a Berberine hoping works for moi's 'grande problemo'
This egg glitters oddly in the light.
oh what kind of dragon could it be?
Hmmm... ELO. Haven't heard them it a long time. Very Beatle-ish.
Complaint: Tailgaters.
What is it that makes people think that it's smart or productive to ride up my tailpipe. I hope their car is not sniffing to see if my car is in estrus.
I live out here in the far west of NY State out in the middle of nowhere between Buffalo, Cleveland and Pittsburgh. Even the 4 lane Interstate road that passes through here is considered busy if there are 5 cars in a 1 mile stretch, yet this jackaxe comes up quickly behind me as I'm doing exactly the speed limit in the correct lane and sits not 15 feet behind me. He could pass me at any time but doesn't. So, I click the cruise control down 2 MPH and he doesn't pass. I go down another 2 MPH and he doesn't pass. I go down another 2 MPH and he finally realizes he's going way slower than he wants to so he finally decides to pass and zooms ahead of me even after I've resumed the speed limit. I watch him come up behind the car that was ahead of me (also doing the speed limit because I'd been a quarter mile behind him for 15 minutes.) and the tailgater does the same thing to him. Why doesn't the tailgater just continue to pass other cars when he obviously wants to go faster than the speed limit? Bonkers! Why are people so bonkers?
...maybe he's a wannabe NASCAR driver. They use a technique called "drafting" where they get in close behind another car to get into it's slipstream which effectively pulls them along and they can let off a bit on the accelerator (which in turn detracts from the fuel economy of the car ahead of them). The same effect is used by cyclists in the Tour De France which is why you see them often bunched up for most of the race and teammates taking turns passing each other multiple times.
If your car was bigger than his, he had an advantage by getting into your slipstream to do the same. Not only a dangerous practise should you have to make an emergency stop, but a rude one because it probably did affect your car's economy slightly.
...or he was just a total jerk.
You don't have any bumper stickers on the rear of the vehicle do you?
...ahh FishFryDay again.
Had the best night's sleep in weeks last night. No scratchy throat, painful sinuses, or watery eyes this morning for once. Air quality index back to "good" again (20 instead of 160+). Actually may have to put a long sleeve shirt on today to go out and get my fish for dinner (the market I went to yesterday didn't have the type I needed).
Only an "AAA" sticker. To identify my car to the tow truck guy when necessary.
Maybe they are trying to read it?
It says just "AAA" in three inch high red letters. If he can't read it without getting 15 feet from my back bumper he shouldn't be driving.
Stupid?
