Yeah, yappy ankle biters are bad news. And I bet they had a dog too.
Here's a picture of the item I missed at the on-line auction a day or so ago. Beautiful Lapis lazuli and amethyst parrot. 4 and a half inches high. Sigh, he would have looked wonderful on my treasure shelf.
My pillows are lonely. I think I will spend time with them now.
pillow hugs

i'm complaining about the literal 'life not worth living' side effects.
picked out a lovely single malt highland park
saw in my local liqer store.

..nice choice on the Highland Park. Would never waste money on a blend though. I currently have a bottle of Ardbeg in the cabinet which is a nice peaty Scots whiskey. Yummy..
I do not want to be awake at two am.
I am becoming allergic to wheat. The bleached flour is the worst. It gives me kankles. I still have lots of swelling on a regular basis. I drink coffee instead of taking loads of water pills. My crazy med adds a little to the swelling but that I have to take and its already the one that cause the least problems with water retention. I have some coconut flour and I might try it in a few simple recipes. I do want a nice spritz cookie and it would be great if I could have those without wheat. I should go back on a low carb diet and see how much I can reduce the swelling without wheat and grains. I have everything to make my chocolate flavored fat. Its a blend of cream cheese, sour cream, unsweetened chocolate, and liquid sucralose EZ Sweets. It and extra sharp cheddar are my diet snack food. I stayed on a low carb diet and lost 100 pounds, over the years I found it again. Now I want to diet off 10 pounds at a time like a skinny person. You know take a break and eat normal for a week in between 10 pounds. That is what I am doing today, cooking up the choco fat and making a trip trip to the grocery store for a block of cheddar, broccoli flourettes, and turkey patties. Tomarrow I'll start a modified fat fast to see how much being grain free and low carb can reduce the swelling.
"Kankles"? -- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kankl%C4%97s
Cankles: unusally thick or swollen ankles.
Non-complaint: Mini-adventure. Yay! I finally went to the National Comedy Center here in Jamestown, NY. All the hub-bub from its grand opening is over and there are no crowds on a Thursday afternoon. My opinion? For that type of museum it's pretty good. Lots of video playing in kiosks and booths and on the walls. Lots of displays of TV scripts, comedian's notes, costumes & clothes of comedians. Displays of newspaper cartoonist's works. They had Lucille Ball's polka dot dress. Red Skelton's "Klem Kadiddlehopper" costume. Jack Benny's tuxedo, Carl Reiner's wig, Johnathan Winters' old lady (Maude Frickert) costume & wig, Jerry Seinfeld's puffy shirt, and several more, but whose names have evaporated from my brain. A whole section devoted to George Carlin. And there's even a special room in the basement where all the risque jokes are. The museum is high tech and there's a lot of visitor participation possible if you take advantage of all the show booths and sit-down video terminals. I mostly just wandered and watched other people play with the gadgets.
Complaint: I went to the national Comedy Center and saw Jack Benny's tuxedo and when I got home and went grocery shopping I mentioned it to the cashier lady (a natural born American and no spring chicken herself), she had no idea who Jack Benny was. Damn, I'm only 70, are he and I THAT dated?
I don't think so I'm 60 and remember Jack Benny ,how about Burns & Allen?
...that's sad.
I think those two people over there look like the District Manager and I think ceo of the place I work at. Wait I think they are those two people.
I'm sure they were there but I don't specifically remember seeing anything about them on one of the videos. The videos change spontaneously or by direction of one of the visitors. Probably if I'd sat down and requested something of theirs it would have been shown on the screen.
Rodney Dangerfield's necktie was there.
As was a crazy dress belonging to Phyllis Diller.
...the Burns and Allen show was around when I was very young.
Do remember the Jack Benny Show, as well as the Ernie Kovacs show on ABC.
My favorite Ernie Kovacs quotation is when describing something interesting while in his hillbilly persona. "Slicker'n snot on a doorknob". Or a request to reconsider a recent action or statement, "Just a pea-pickin' minute!"
Another item in the museum was Dan Ackroyd's Harley Davidson motorcycle that he rode from Canada to NYC during his Saturday Night Live years.
And a couple recognizable things of Joan Rivers'.
And a Jerry Lewis jacket, and lots of other dusty museum fodder.
Oh, and the original scroll of dirty phrases used by George Carlin that he used to read off on stage.
What about Flip Wilson? I remember watching his show regularily back in the early 70s.
...ahh yes Geraldine. and Reverend Leroy
and from his Laugh In days.
Yeah, Flip Wilson material was there, as was a female costume from Laugh-In. And also there was Lilly Tomlin's "Telephone Lady" wig.
And the three "Conehead" motorcycle helmets.
I feel like I am no good at one thing basically anymore. It is this thing called life.
Don't feel bad I don't know if any of us are really good at it ya just keep practicing ........
Isn't that Sammy Davis Junior, doin' "Here come da judge?"
Just remembered another item in the National Comedy Museum, ... One of Charlie Chaplin's canes.
I do not know what else to do.
It might me being tired but I think there are brown spots or splotches on my arms.
..ya know you're right. Flip was the one who usually did the act on Laugh In but Sammy was one of the guests and did it. Late night, old eyes and poor quality video (as well as it being tagged as "Flip Wilson")
