Before I started work this morning I started an iRay render and then left. That was about nine and a half hours ago. I just came into my room after eating my dinner. I checked the render. I thought it was okay. I got a ten dollar google play gift card for an early birthday present so I decided to look at Google Play movies for a movie to buy. I do not have any Android devices but I can watch google play movies on my computer and App Store has a google play movies app. I noticed that my computer was being slow as if something is either using up the computer resources in the background. I checked Task Manager and saw that it was Daz Studio. I thought why? I remembered earlier that I did not go to the Daz Studio itself but just checked on the render. I decided to go check on DS itself and found out it was at around 49% of the render. 0_o
Let's all join the chorus... "iRay is wonderful, iRay is wonderful, all hail iRay!"
I know. I noticed when I tried to open Blender that I have not installed it on this computer yet it seems.
...and don't forget....
All Glory to the Hypnotoad.
...again that's what they are trying to do here but fortunately we have a "grandfather" clause so if you are of an age where you qualify at 65, you get it at 65 even if they change it to 72.

was snow white a grim tale?
the grim version of snow white is gruesome
grimmly gruesome, or gruesomely grim
I turned off my light so my roommate can sleep but it is so hard to read my notebook with the story I am trying to type up in the dark. Also my computer complained about having low battery when I thought it was plugged in all the time. I unplugged the charger and replugged it in. how strange?
I cannot sleep and it is after 11 pm. I need to sleep as I work tomorrow. I need to get off my computer and go to sleep.

The same is true here - I can't recall how the change from 65 to 67 was handled, though I thought there was a range of ages not affected, but the currently planned change from 67 to 68 is not going to affect those us born before 1970 and is phased in for those born in the years after 1970.
Complaint: Tummy trouble.
Non-complaint: I finally found something to buy in the March Madness sale despite it being well into April.
'Nother non-complaint: I'm thinking about getting a take-out of liver & onions from a restaurant in the nearest village. They make HUGE meals. I mean the plates are large, the food is piled on, and the prices aren't bad. I don't know how they stay in business.
The local fat people camp out there, but I don't know which came first, the chicken or the egg.
Regardless, the liver & onions is the only meal I ever get from there, the atmosphere is dirty 1960s, dark wood, dark lighting, red rug, Italian mood, floor to ceiling laticework booths, with red plastic upholstery on the benches, and candles in crackled glass vases sheathed in white plastic nets on the table. Stuck in time they are.
But a liver & onions take-out meal from there with big baked potato, salad & bread, provides me with four quite satisfying meals over the next several days.
And the liver is cut quite thick and there's three huge pieces of it, along with several pieces of bacon and an apple ring and drowning in piles of sweet cooked onions, and I LOVE liver & onions.
All for $15
Pensions are run by a company, not the government, and are offered only to those who worked for the subscribing company. The pension provider decides at what age you can start collecting your monthy payments. For some that can be as soon as you have worked 20 years and retire from that company. As such, some people can collect their pensions at a pretty young age. What the government decides is retirement age is different from that. How you are, or are not, taxed on that will depend on the government, but it doesn't mean you can't collect your pension. What other governments consider you is beside the point. You are not in those other countries. And that is pretty much a coloquial term, applied to anyone retired I would think. I imagine that they'd call a person who no longer works a pensioner even if he collected no pension and no SS or equivalent, but rather simply has his own "nest egg" that he stashed away over the years, or is wealthy as a result of his working life.

Born in 61, so not affected by that change. (phew!)

TangoAlpha and I are in the UK, we do have a state pension (as long as we paid enough National Insurance contributions).
And in the UK we are not considered to be pensioners until we reach State pension age. Which used to be 60 for women and 65 for men. It it this state pension age which the government are changing, firstly be evening out the age gap between men and women and then increasing the age at which we can retire, officially.
Private pensions ar governed by the contract signed when applying for said private pension. My Father is a good example of the weirdness this can cause. He worked for the government as a Civil Servant for his entire working life. When he joined the civil service the agreement in the pension contract was that a civli servant could, if they wished, retire at 60 whether male or female. So my Father retired at 60, drawing his private pension, which was in fact a government pension, for 5 years before he could draw his state pension.
Amounts to between £122 and £159 a week -- equivalent to about $160-$210 US -- depending on the number of years of contributions and whether you opted out of something called SERPS (State Earnings Related Pension Scheme). But I won't be eligible for that for another 10 and a half years.

Gee, I hope your expenses are low when you get there. That's not very much. Especially considering that everything will likely be more expensive by the time you reach the goal. Yikes. I couldn't make it on that right now.

And you know the most depressing part about that? By the time I get to retire, the minium age will probably be 90, and the weekly payments will probably be $50. I'm going to have to literally work until I'm dead at this rate.
Do you think they could deliver an order to me? I love liver and onions. Nobody else in my family will eat them.
