Which banner is that? I'm not seeing anything titled "Make it rain"

Wow, some great freebies today, especially for newbies! I already own 99% of what's in the V4/Freak bundles but got them anyway since I'm on my iPad with no Daz Deal browser to check what I already have. I know I have al the V4 stuff, but got it again anyway, in case they ever have a special for those that own the bundle rather than the individual items. And some actual outfits (not just textures) for G2 that I actually didn't have! Nice!

Ah. The Make it Rain banner was $10 off DO items, but (without saying so) also worked on PC+. Just showed up today for an April sale.
Me neither. Weird. I've been spending a lot! Bummed. I wonder what the criteria is? People who haven't bought much?
PC+ items are also DO items (they have both logos), so if the sale does not exclude PC+, then it should work on PC+ items as well. The current sale doesn't say it excludes PC+ either, so it's correctly doing what the banner says.

I think we're talking about the RDNA sale, and comparing it to a past sale. The discounts in the RDNA sale work on PC+ items, too, but they are supposed to work, so all is working as advertised. The PC+ items are not excluded from the sale, only new items are.
There is no telling what the criteria is. Maybe people who bought Penny, maybe random selection, maybe....
I didn't get it either and I spent a lot during March. Oh well, there is always another sale and maybe we'll get one some other time.

I'm more thankful for the freebie bundies this morning. That should help a lot of people out there to get V4/M4 :)
I threw most of the new freebies in my cart, then, when I checked DIM, there were hardley any items showing; I guess I had already bought most of them individually over the years.
Oh, and I did not see any banner either, as I did not buy much during March Madness this year. As for the RDNA flash sale, I already have everything I ever needed or wanted from pre-Genesis content.

True, but the normal PC DO coupon ($6) doesn't apply to PC+, so I thought it was worth pointing out. And I have no idea what I did to get the banner - I've bought very little this year.

Nope, I spent quite a bit (so that's not it) and didn't complain (so that's not it) -and no love. It always seems quite random. If this has to do with DOs though, I own a lot of them so perhaps they have a formula based on how many of those we already own.
I once got a coupon for $5 off to encourage me to buy something. I'm sure that was well over three years ago, and I really don't recall the wording of the email, but it did mention I hadn't bought anything in a while…
Does the Ishtar V4 bundle contain the dress?
That's a good question. Only the hair and character are listed in the "what's included" but the promos show that the outfit is also included. So... that's confusing. Hopefully someone who has bought it will let us know. :)
Edit - Hmm Maybe "Ishtar for V4" is the outfit and not the character? *shrug* Pretty confusing. heh
If you go down about halfway in this thread, it sounds like the dress is sincluded.

Yes, Dress and Hair. But note that the dress and overskirt are Poser dynamic cloth. They have adjustment morphs and body handles, but that gets old very fast for most poses. I don't even think you could get that pose in the promo spinning the dials. I've tried a few Poser dynamic items and they work very well with dForce, once you get the parameters close enough. In this case, the main dress works well enough, but the overskirt will need a little work. By that I mean I don't know what exactly, I haven't played with dForce enough, but it's a start.
Isn't it a bit late for some of these winter-related products that are showing up at the store?
Not for the Southern Hemisphere - also it's just early for next winer in the north so you've got time to set up the perfect render ;)

Well the RDNA sale didn't last long. This not knowing when sales are going to end continues to be a point of frustration. It didn't say flash sale, so I didn't jump on it immediately.
Another vendor of this stuff is nice enough to post the exact time that a given sale will end in their store, to the minute...Which I appreciate.
Ahh well, there will be other sales on that stuff I guess...
Oh, and no spiffy orange banner here recently either. It must have been a very small subset of the customer base...
I think winter has become an all year round thing where I live, Iowa, USA. Our spring prom was just cancelled over the weekend due to a blizzard and there's more snow forcasted for tomorrow. I think spring and summer have forgotten us.
